| 3 | Et penses-tu, ô homme! qui juges ceux qui commettent de telles choses, et qui les commets, que tu doives échapper au jugement de Dieu? | And reckonest thou this, O man, who judgest them that practise such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God? | E pensi forse, o uomo che giudichi coloro che fanno tali cose e tu pure le fai, di scampare al giudizio di Dio? |
| 4 | Ou méprises-tu les richesses de sa douceur, et de sa patience, et de sa longue attente; ne connaissant pas que la bonté de Dieu te convie à la repentance. | Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? | Ovvero disprezzi le ricchezze della sua benignità, della sua pazienza e longanimità, non conoscendo che la bontà di Dio ti spinge al ravvedimento? |
| 5 | Mais par ta dureté, et par ton coeur qui est sans repentance, tu t'amasses la colère pour le jour de la colère, et de la manifestation du juste jugement de Dieu: | but after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up for thyself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; | Ma tu, per la tua durezza ed il cuore impenitente, ti accumuli un tesoro d'ira, per il giorno dell'ira e della manifestazione del giusto giudizio di Dio, |

| 8 | Mais il y aura de l'indignation et de la colère contre ceux qui sont contentieux, et qui se rebellent contre la vérité, et obéissent à l'injustice. | but unto them that are factious, and obey not the truth, but obey unrighteousness, [shall be] wrath and indignation, | a coloro invece che contendono e non ubbidiscono alla verità, ma ubbidiscono all'ingiustizia, spetta indignazione ed ira. |
| 9 | Il y aura tribulation et angoisse sur toute âme d'homme qui fait le mal, du Juif premièrement, puis aussi du Grec; | tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that worketh evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Greek; | Tribolazione e angoscia spetta ad ogni anima d'uomo che fa il male del Giudeo prima e poi del Greco; |
| 10 | Mais gloire, honneur, et paix à chacun qui fait le bien; au Juif premièrement, puis aussi au Grec. | but glory and honor and peace to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek: | ma gloria, onore e pace a chiunque fa il bene, al Giudeo prima e poi al Greco. |
| 11 | Parce que Dieu n'a point d'égard à l'apparence des personnes. | for there is no respect of persons with God. | Perché presso Dio non v'è parzialità. |
| 12 | Car tous ceux qui auront péché sans la Loi, périront aussi sans la Loi; et tous ceux qui auront péché en la Loi, seront jugés par la Loi. | For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without the law: and as many as have sinned under the law shall be judged by the law; | Infatti tutti quelli che hanno peccato senza la legge, periranno pure senza la legge; e tutti quelli che hanno peccato sotto la legge, saranno giudicati secondo la legge, |
| 13 | ( Parce que ce ne sont pas ceux qui écoutent la Loi, qui sont justes devant Dieu; mais ce sont ceux qui observent la Loi, qui seront justifiés. | for not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified: | perché non coloro che odono la legge sono giusti presso Dio, ma coloro che mettono in pratica la legge saranno giustificati. |

| 18 | Tu connais sa volonté, et tu sais discerner ce qui est contraire, étant instruit par la Loi; | and knowest his will, and approvest the things that are excellent, being instructed out of the law, | conosci la sua volontà e distingui le cose importanti, essendo ammaestrato dalla legge, |
| 19 | Et tu te crois être le conducteur des aveugles, la lumière de ceux qui sont dans les ténèbres; | and art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them that are in darkness, | e sei convinto di essere guida di ciechi, luce di quelli che sono nelle tenebre, |
| 20 | Le docteur des ignorants, le maître des idiots, ayant le modèle de la connaissance et de la vérité dans la Loi. | a corrector of the foolish, a teacher of babes, having in the law the form of knowledge and of the truth; | istruttore degli insensati, insegnante dei bambini, avendo la forma della conoscenza e della verità nella legge. |
| 21 | Toi donc qui enseignes les autres, ne t'enseignes-tu point toi-même? toi qui prêches qu'on ne doit point dérober, tu dérobes. | thou therefore that teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal? | Tu dunque che insegni agli altri, non insegni a te stesso? Tu che predichi che non si deve rubare, rubi? |
| 22 | Toi qui dis qu'on ne doit point commettre adultère, tu commets adultère? toi qui as en abomination les idoles, tu commets des sacrilèges. | thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou rob temples? | Tu che dici che non si deve commettere adulterio, commetti adulterio? Tu che hai in abominio gli idoli, ne derubi i templi? |
| 23 | Toi qui te glorifies en la Loi, tu déshonores Dieu par la transgression de la Loi. | thou who gloriest in the law, through thy transgression of the law dishonorest thou God? | Tu che ti glori nella legge, disonori Dio trasgredendo la legge? |
| 24 | Car le nom de Dieu est blasphémé à cause de vous parmi les Gentils comme il est écrit. | For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you, even as it is written. | Infatti: Per causa vostra, come sta scritto, il nome di Dio è bestemmiato fra i gentili. |
| 25 | Or il est vrai que la Circoncision est profitable, si tu gardes la Loi; mais si tu es transgresseur de la Loi, ta Circoncision devient prépuce. | For circumcision indeed profiteth, if thou be a doer of the law: but if thou be a transgressor of the law, thy circumcision is become uncircumcision. | Perché la circoncisione, è vantaggiosa se tu osservi la legge, ma se sei trasgressore della legge, la tua circoncisione diventa incirconcisione. |
| 26 | Mais si celui qui a le prépuce garde les ordonnances de la Loi, son prépuce ne lui sera-t-il point réputé pour Circoncision? | If therefore the uncircumcision keep the ordinances of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be reckoned for circumcision? | Perciò se un incirconciso osserva gli statuti della legge, non sarà la sua incirconcisione reputata circoncisione? |
| 27 | Et si celui qui a naturellement le prépuce, accomplit la Loi, ne te jugera-t-il pas, toi qui dans la lettre et dans la Circoncision es transgresseur de la Loi? | and shall not the uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who with the letter and circumcision art a transgressor of the law? | E se colui che per natura è incirconciso adempie la legge, non giudicherà egli te che con la lettera e la circoncisione sei trasgressore della legge? |
| 28 | Car celui-là n'est point Juif, qui ne l'est qu'au-dehors, et celle-là n'est point la véritable Circoncision, qui est faite par dehors en la chair. | For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision which is outward in the flesh: | Infatti il Giudeo non è colui che appare tale all'esterno, e la circoncisione non è quella visibile nella carne; |
| 29 | Mais celui-là est Juif, qui l'est au-dedans; et la véritable Circoncision est celle qui est du coeur en esprit, et non pas dans la lettre; et la louange de ce Juif n'est point des hommes, mais de Dieu. | but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God. | ma Giudeo è colui che lo è interiormente, e la circoncisione è quella del cuore, nello spirito, e non nella lettera; e d'un tal Giudeo la lode non proviene dagli uomini, ma da Dio. |
