| 2 | L'un croit pouvoir manger de toutes choses; l'autre qui est faible, mange des herbes: | One man hath faith to eat all things: but he that is weak eateth herbs. | L'uno crede di poter mangiare d'ogni cosa, mentre l'altro, che è debole, mangia solo legumi. |
| 3 | que celui qui mange ne méprise pas celui qui ne mange pas; et que celui qui ne mange pas ne juge pas celui qui mange, car Dieu l'a reçu. | Let not him that eateth set at nought him that eateth not; and let not him that eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him. | Colui che mangia non disprezzi colui che non mangia, e colui che non mangia non giudichi colui che mangia, poiché Dio lo ha accettato. |

Il se tient debout ou il tombe pour son propre maître; et il sera tenu debout, car le Seigneur est puissant pour le tenir debout. | Who art thou that judgest the servant of another? to his own lord he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be made to stand; for the Lord hath power to make him stand. | Chi sei tu che giudichi il domestico altrui? | 6 | Celui qui a égard au jour, y a égard à cause du Seigneur; et celui qui mange, mange à cause du Seigneur, car il rend grâces à Dieu; et celui qui ne mange pas, ne mange pas à cause du Seigneur, et il rend grâces à Dieu. | He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord: and he that eateth, eateth unto the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, unto the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks. | Chi ha riguardo al giorno, lo fa per il Signore; chi non ha alcun riguardo al giorno lo fa per il Signore; chi mangia lo fa per il Signore e rende grazie a Dio; e chi non mangia non mangia per il Signore e rende grazie a Dio. |

| 8 | mais soit que nous vivions, nous vivons ayant égard au Seigneur, soit que nous mourions, nous mourons ayant égard au Seigneur; soit donc que nous vivions, soit que nous mourions, nous sommes du Seigneur. | For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; or whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord`s. | perché, se pure viviamo, viviamo per il Signore; e se moriamo, moriamo per il Signore, dunque sia che viviamo, sia che moriamo, siamo del Signore. |
| 9 | Car c'est pour cela que Christ est mort et qu'il a revécu, afin qu'il dominât et sur les morts et sur les vivants. | For to this end Christ died and lived [again], that he might be Lord of both the dead and the living. | Poiché a questo fine Cristo è morto, è risuscitato ed è tornato in vita: per signoreggiare sui morti e sui vivi. |
| 10 | Mais toi, pourquoi juges-tu ton frère? Ou aussi toi, pourquoi méprises-tu ton frère? Car nous comparaîtrons tous devant le tribunal de Dieu; | But thou, why dost thou judge thy brother? or thou again, why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment-seat of God. | Ora tu, perché giudichi il tuo fratello? O perché disprezzi il tuo fratello? Poiché tutti dobbiamo comparire davanti al tribunale di Cristo. |
| 11 | car il est écrit: "Je suis vivant, dit le Seigneur, que tout genou se ploiera devant moi, et que toute langue confessera hautement Dieu". | For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, to me every knee shall bow, And every tongue shall confess to God. | Sta infatti scritto: Come io vivo, dice il Signore, ogni ginocchio si piegherà davanti a me e ogni lingua darà gloria a Dio. |
| 12 | Ainsi donc, chacun de nous rendra compte pour lui-même à Dieu. | So then each one of us shall give account of himself to God. | Così dunque ognuno di noi renderà conto di se stesso a Dio. |
| 13 | Ne nous jugeons donc plus l'un l'autre; mais jugez plutôt ceci, de ne pas mettre une pierre d'achoppement ou une occasion de chute devant votre frère. | Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge ye this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock in his brother`s way, or an occasion of falling. | Perciò non giudichiamo più gli uni gli altri ma piuttosto giudicate questo: di non porre intoppo o scandalo al fratello. |
| 14 | Je sais, et je suis persuadé dans le Seigneur Jésus, que rien n'est souillé par soi-même, sauf qu'à celui qui croit qu'une chose est souillée, elle lui est souillée. | I know, and am persuaded in the Lord Jesus, that nothing is unclean of itself: save that to him who accounteth anything to be unclean, to him it is unclean. | Io so e sono persuaso nel Signore Gesù, che nessuna cosa è immonda in se stessa, ma chi stima qualche cosa immonda, per lui è immonda. |
| 15 | Car si, à cause d'une viande, ton frère est attristé, tu ne marches plus selon l'amour. Ne détruis pas par ta viande celui pour lequel Christ est mort. | For if because of meat thy brother is grieved, thou walkest no longer in love. Destroy not with thy meat him for whom Christ died. | Ma se tuo fratello è contristato a motivo di un cibo, tu non cammini più secondo amore; non far perire col tuo cibo colui per il quale Cristo è morto. |
| 16 | Que ce qui est bien en vous ne soit donc pas blâmé. | Let not then your good be evil spoken of: | Perciò quel che per voi è bene non diventi motivo di biasimo |
| 17 | Car le royaume de Dieu n'est pas manger et boire, mais justice, et paix, et joie dans l'Esprit Saint. | for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. | poiché il regno di Dio non è mangiare e bere, ma giustizia, pace e gioia nello Spirito Santo. |
| 18 | Car celui qui en cela sert le Christ est agréable à Dieu et approuvé des hommes. | For he that herein serveth Christ is well-pleasing to God, and approved of men. | Infatti chi serve Cristo in queste cose è gradito a Dio e approvato dagli uomini. |
| 19 | Ainsi donc poursuivons les choses qui tendent à la paix et celles qui tendent à l'édification mutuelle. | So then let us follow after things which make for peace, and things whereby we may edify one another. | Perseguiamo dunque le cose che contribuiscono alla pace e alla edificazione reciproca. |
| 20 | A cause d'une viande, ne détruis pas l'oeuvre de Dieu. Toutes choses, il est vrai, sont pures; mais il y a du mal pour l'homme qui mange en bronchant. | Overthrow not for meat`s sake the work of God. All things indeed are clean; howbeit it is evil for that man who eateth with offence. | Non distruggere l'opera di Dio per il cibo; certo, tutte le cose sono pure, ma è sbagliato quando uno mangia qualcosa che è occasione di peccato. |
| 21 | Il est bon de ne pas manger de chair, de ne pas boire de vin, et de ne faire aucune chose en laquelle ton frère bronche, ou est scandalisé, ou est faible. | It is good not to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor [to do anything] whereby thy brother stumbleth. | E' bene non mangiare carne, né bere vino, né fare cosa alcuna che porti tuo fratello a inciampare o ad essere scandalizzato o essere indebolito. |
| 22 | Toi, tu as de la foi; aie-la par devers toi-même devant Dieu; bienheureux est celui qui ne se juge pas lui-même en ce qu'il approuve; | The faith which thou hast, have thou to thyself before God. Happy is he that judgeth not himself in that which he approveth. | Hai tu fede? Tienila per te stesso davanti a Dio; beato chi non condanna se stesso in ciò che approva. |
| 23 | mais celui qui hésite, s'il mange, est condamné, parce qu' il n'agit pas sur un principe de foi. Or tout ce qui n'est pas sur le principe de la foi est péché. | But he that doubteth is condemned if he eat, because [he eateth] not of faith; and whatsoever is not of faith is sin. | Ma colui che sta in dubbio, se mangia è condannato, perché non mangia con fede; or tutto ciò che non viene da fede è peccato. |
