| 1 | Je vous exhorte donc, frères, par les compassions de Dieu, à présenter vos corps en sacrifice vivant, saint, agréable à Dieu, ce qui est votre service intelligent. | I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, [which is] your spiritual service. | Vi esorto dunque, fratelli, per le compassioni di Dio, a presentare i vostri corpi, il che è il vostro ragionevole servizio, quale sacrificio vivente, santo e accettevole a Dio. |
| 2 | Et ne vous conformez pas à ce siècle; mais soyez transformés par le renouvellement de votre entendement, pour que vous discerniez quelle est la volonté de Dieu, bonne et agréable et parfaite. | And be not fashioned according to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, and ye may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God. | E non vi conformate a questo mondo, ma siate trasformati mediante il rinnovamento della vostra mente, affinché conosciate per esperienza qual sia la buona, accettevole e perfetta volontà di Dio. |
| 3 | Car, par la grâce qui m'a été donnée, je dis à chacun de ceux qui sont parmi vous de ne pas avoir une haute pensée de lui-même, au-dessus de celle qu'il convient d'avoir, mais de penser de manière à avoir de saines pensées, selon la mesure de foi que Dieu a départie à chacun. | For I say, through the grace that was given me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think as to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to each man a measure of faith. | Infatti, per la grazia che mi è stata data, dico a ciascuno che si trovi fra voi di non avere alcun concetto più alto di quello che conviene avere, ma di avere un concetto sobrio, secondo la misura della fede che Dio ha distribuito a ciascuno. |
| 4 | Car comme dans un seul corps nous avons plusieurs membres, et que tous les membres n'ont pas la même fonction, | For even as we have many members in one body, and all the members have not the same office: | Infatti, come in uno stesso corpo abbiamo molte membra e tutte le membra non hanno la medesima funzione, |
| 5 | ainsi nous qui sommes plusieurs, sommes un seul corps en Christ, et chacun individuellement membres l'un de l'autre. | so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and severally members one of another. | così noi, che siamo molti, siamo un medesimo corpo in Cristo, e ciascuno siamo membra l'uno dell'altro. |
| 6 | Or ayant des dons de grâce différents, selon la grâce qui nous a été donnée, soit la prophétie, prophétisons selon la proportion de la foi; | And having gifts differing according to the grace that was given to us, whether prophecy, [let us prophesy] according to the proportion of our faith; | Ora, avendo noi doni differenti secondo la grazia che ci è stata data, se abbiamo profezia, profetizziamo secondo la proporzione della fede; |
| 7 | le service, soyons occupés du service: soit celui qui enseigne, qu'il s'applique à l'enseignement; | or ministry, [let us give ourselves] to our ministry; or he that teacheth, to his teaching; | se di ministero, attendiamo al ministero; similmente il dottore attenda all'insegnamento; |
| 8 | soit celui qui exhorte, à l'exhortation; - celui qui distribue, qu'il le fasse en simplicité; celui qui est à la tête, qu'il conduise soigneusement; celui qui exerce la miséricorde, qu'il le fasse joyeusement. | or he that exhorteth, to his exhorting: he that giveth, [let him do it] with liberality; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that showeth mercy, with cheerfulness. | e colui che esorta, attenda all'esortare; colui che distribuisce, lo faccia con semplicità; colui che presiede, presieda con diligenza; colui che fa opere di pietà le faccia con gioia. |
| 9 | Que l'amour soit sans hypocrisie; ayez en horreur le mal, tenez ferme au bien; | Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. | L'amore sia senza ipocrisia, detestate il male e attenetevi fermamente al bene. |
| 10 | quant à l'amour fraternel, soyez pleins d'affection les uns pour les autres; quant à l'honneur, étant les premiers à le rendre aux autres; | In love of the brethren be tenderly affectioned one to another; in honor preferring one another; | Nell'amore fraterno, amatevi teneramente gli uni gli altri nell'onore usate riguardo gli uni verso gli altri. |
| 11 | quand à l'activité, pas paresseux; fervents en esprit; servant le Seigneur; | in diligence not slothful; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; | Non siate pigri nello zelo, siate ferventi nello spirito, servite il Signore |
| 12 | vous réjouissant dans l'espérance; patients dans la tribulation; persévérants dans la prière: | rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing stedfastly in prayer; | allegri nella speranza, costanti nell'afflizione, perseveranti nella preghiera; |
| 13 | subvenant aux nécessités des saints; | communicating to the necessities of the saints; given to hospitality. | provvedete ai bisogni dei santi, esercitate l'ospitalità. |
| 14 | vous appliquant à l'hospitalité. Bénissez ceux qui vous persécutent; | Bless them that persecute you; bless, and curse not. | Benedite quelli che vi perseguitano benedite e non maledite. |
| 15 | bénissez et ne maudissez pas. Réjouissez-vous avec ceux qui se réjouissent, et pleurez avec ceux qui pleurent; | Rejoice with them that rejoice; weep with them that weep. | Rallegratevi con quelli che sono allegri, piangete con quelli che piangono. |
| 16 | ayant, les uns envers les autres, un même sentiment; ne pensant pas aux choses élevées, mais vous associant aux humbles. Ne soyez pas sages à vos propres yeux;... ne rendant à personne mal pour mal; | Be of the same mind one toward another. Set not your mind on high things, but condescend to things that are lowly. Be not wise in your own conceits. | Abbiate gli stessi pensieri gli uni verso gli altri; non aspirate alle cose alte, ma attenetevi alle umili; non siate savi da voi stessi. |
| 17 | vous proposant ce qui est honnête devant tous les hommes; | Render to no man evil for evil. Take thought for things honorable in the sight of all men. | Non rendete ad alcuno male per male, cercate di fare il bene davanti a tutti gli uomini. |
| 18 | s'il est possible, autant que cela dépend de vous, vivant en paix avec tous les hommes; | If it be possible, as much as in you lieth, be at peace with all men. | Se è possibile e per quanto dipende da voi, vivete in pace con tutti gli uomini. |
| 19 | ne vous vengeant pas vous-mêmes, bien-aimés; mais laissez agir la colère, car il est écrit: "A moi la vengeance; moi je rendrai, dit le Seigneur". | Avenge not yourselves, beloved, but give place unto the wrath [of God]: for it is written, Vengeance belongeth unto me; I will recompense, saith the Lord. | Non fate le vostre vendette, cari miei, ma lasciate posto all'ira di Dio, perché sta scritto: A me la vendetta, io renderò la retribuzione, dice il Signore. |
| 20 | Si donc ton ennemi a faim, donne-lui à manger; s'il a soif, donne-lui à boire; car en faisant cela tu entasseras des charbons de feu sur sa tête". | But if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him to drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head. | Se dunque il tuo nemico ha fame dagli da mangiare, se ha sete dagli da bere; perché, facendo questo, radunerai dei carboni accesi sul suo capo |
| 21 | Ne sois pas surmonté par le mal, mais surmonte le mal par le bien. | Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. | Non essere vinto dal male, ma vinci il male con il bene. |
