| 21 | puisque, ayant connu Dieu, ils ne l'ont pas glorifié comme Dieu et ne lui ont pas rendu grâces; mais ils sont devenus vains dans leurs pensées, et leur coeur sans intelligence s'est enveloppé de ténèbres. | because that, knowing God, they glorified him not as God, neither gave thanks; but became vain in their reasonings, and their senseless heart was darkened. | Poiché, pur avendo conosciuto Dio, non l'hanno però glorificato né l'hanno ringraziato come Dio, anzi sono divenuti insensati nei loro ragionamenti e il loro cuore senza intendimento si è ottenebrato. |

| 23 | et ils ont échangé la majesté du Dieu incorruptible pour des images représentant l'homme corruptible, des oiseaux, des quadrupèdes et des reptiles. | and changed the glory of the incorruptible God for the likeness of an image of corruptible man, and of birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things. | e hanno mutato la gloria dell'incorruttibile Dio in un'immagine simile a quella di un uomo corruttibile, di uccelli, di bestie quadrupedi e di rettili. |

Amen !) | for that they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshipped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. | 27 | de même aussi les hommes, au lieu d'user de la femme selon l'ordre de la nature, ont, dans leurs désirs, brûlé les uns pour les autres, ayant hommes avec hommes un commerce infâme, et recevant dans une mutuelle dégradation, le juste salaire de leur égarement. | and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another, men with men working unseemliness, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was due. | Nello stesso modo gli uomini, lasciata la relazione naturale con la donna, si sono accesi nella loro libidine gli uni verso gli altri, commettendo atti indecenti uomini con uomini, ricevendo in se stessi la ricompensa dovuta al loro traviamento. |

| 32 | Et bien qu'ils connaissent le jugement de Dieu déclarant dignes de mort ceux qui commettent de telles choses, non seulement ils les font, mais encore ils approuvent ceux qui les font. | who, knowing the ordinance of God, that they that practise such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but also consent with them that practise them. | Or essi, pur avendo riconosciuto il decreto di Dio secondo cui quelli che fanno tali cose sono degni di morte, non solo le fanno, ma approvano anche coloro che le commettono. |
