He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. You can go to God Most-High to hide. You can go to the God All-Powerful for protection.
Je dis à l'Éternel: Mon refuge et ma forteresse! mon Dieu en qui je m'assure!I will say of Jehovah, He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in whom I trust.I say to the Lord, You are my place of safety, my fortress. My God, I trust you.
For he will deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, And from the deadly pestilence.God will save you from hidden dangers and dangerous diseases.
He will cover thee with his pinions, And under his wings shalt thou take refuge: His truth is a shield and a buckler. You can go to God for protection. He will protect you like a bird spreading its wings over its babies. God will be like a shield and a wall protecting you.
Tu ne craindras pas les terreurs de la nuit, ni la flèche qui vole de jour,Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night, Nor for the arrow that flieth by day;You will have nothing to fear at night. And you won’t be afraid of enemy arrows during the day.
For the pestilence that walketh in darkness, Nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. You will not be afraid of diseases that come in the dark, or terrible sicknesses that come at noon.
A thousand shall fall at thy side, And ten thousand at thy right hand; [But] it shall not come nigh thee. You will defeat 1,000 enemies. Your own right hand will defeat 10,000 enemy soldiers. Your enemies will not even touch you!
Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold, And see the reward of the wicked.Just look, and you will see that those wicked people are punished!
Car tu es mon refuge, ô Éternel! Tu as pris le Très-Haut pour ton asile. For thou, O Jehovah, art my refuge! Thou hast made the Most High thy habitation; Why? Because you trust the Lord. You made God Most-High your place of safety.
There shall no evil befall thee, Neither shall any plague come nigh thy tent.Nothing bad will happen to you. There will be no diseases in your home.
For he will give his angels charge over thee, To keep thee in all thy ways.God will command his angels for you, and they will protect you wherever you go.
They shall bear thee up in their hands, Lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.Their hands will catch you, so that you will not hit your foot on a rock.
Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: The young lion and the serpent shalt thou trample under foot. You will have power to walk on lions and poisonous snakes.
Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. The Lord says, If a person trusts me, I will save him. I will protect my followers who worship my name.
He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble: I will deliver him, and honor him.My followers will call to me for help, and I will answer them. I will be with them when they have trouble. I will rescue them and honor them.
With long life will I satisfy him, And show him my salvation. Psalm 92 A Psalm, a Song for the sabbath day.I will give my followers a long life. And I will save them.
