1Au maître-chantre. Psaume d'Asaph, sur Shoshannim-Éduth (les lys lyriques). Pasteur d'Israël, prête l'oreille; toi qui mènes Joseph comme un troupeau, toi qui sièges entre les chérubins, fais briller ta splendeur!Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, Thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; Thou that sittest [above] the cherubim, shine forth.Al maestro del coro. Sul motivo: "I gigli della testimonianza". Salmo di Asaf. AscoltaShepherd of Israel, please listen to me. You lead Joseph’s sheep (people). You sit as king on the Cherub angels. Let us see you.
2Devant Éphraïm, Benjamin et Manassé, réveille ta puissance et viens nous sauver.Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh, stir up thy might, And come to save us.Risveglia la tua potenza davanti a Efraim, a Beniamino e a Manasse, e vieni a liberarci.Shepherd of Israel, show your greatness to Ephraim, Benjamin, and Manasseh. Come and save us.
3O Dieu! rétablis-nous; fais luire ta face, et nous serons sauvés!Turn us again, O God; And cause thy face to shine, and we shall be saved.O DIO ristoraci, fa' risplendere il tuo volto e saremo salvati.God, accept us again. Accept us. Save us!
4Éternel, Dieu des armées, jusques à quand ta colère fumera-t-elle contre la prière de ton peuple?O Jehovah God of hosts, How long wilt thou be angry against the prayer of thy people?O Eterno, DIO degli eserciti, fino a quando sarai adirato contro la preghiera del tuo popolo?Lord God All-Powerful, when will you listen to our prayers? Will you be angry at us forever?
5Tu leur fais manger un pain de larmes, et tu leur fais boire des larmes à pleine mesure.Thou hast fed them with the bread of tears, And given them tears to drink in large measure.Tu li hai cibati con pane intriso di pianto, e hai dato loro da bere lacrime in abbondanza.You have given tears as food to your people. You have given your people bowls filled with their tears. That was their water to drink.
6Tu fais de nous un sujet de contestations pour nos voisins, et nos ennemis se raillent de nous entre eux.Thou makest us a strife unto our neighbors; And our enemies laugh among themselves.Tu ci hai fatti un oggetto di contesa per i nostri vicini, e i nostri nemici ridono tra di loro.You let us become something for our neighbors to fight about. Our enemies laugh at us.
7Dieu des armées! rétablis-nous; fais luire ta face, et nous serons sauvés!Turn us again, O God of hosts; And cause thy face to shine, and we shall be saved.O DIO degli eserciti, ristoraci fa' risplendere il tuo volto e saremo salvati.God All-Powerful, accept us again. Accept us. Save us.
8Tu enlevas de l'Égypte une vigne; tu chassas des nations et tu la plantas.Thou broughtest a vine out of Egypt: Thou didst drive out the nations, and plantedst it.Tu portasti fuori dall'Egitto una vite scacciasti le nazioni e la piantasti.In the past, you treated us like a very important plant. You brought your vine out of Egypt. You forced other people to leave this land, and you planted your vine here.
9Tu préparas le sol devant elle; elle poussa ses racines et remplit la terre.Thou preparedst [room] before it, And it took deep root, and filled the land.Tu sgombrasti il terreno davanti a lei, ed essa mise radici e riempì la terra.You prepared the ground for the vine. You helped its roots to grow strong. Soon the vine spread throughout the land.
10Les montagnes se couvraient de son ombre, et les cèdres de Dieu de ses sarments.The mountains were covered with the shadow of it, And the boughs thereof were [like] cedars of God.I monti furono coperti con la sua ombra e i cedri di DIO con i suoi tralci.It covered the mountains. Its leaves shaded even the giant cedar trees.
11Elle étendait ses pampres jusqu'à la mer, et ses rejetons jusqu'au fleuve.It sent out its branches unto the sea, And its shoots unto the River.Allungò i suoi rami fino al mare e i suoi germogli fino al fiume.Its vines spread to the Mediterranean Sea. Its shoots spread to the Euphrates River.
12Pourquoi as-tu rompu ses clôtures, en sorte que tous les passants la pillent?Why hast thou broken down its walls, So that all they that pass by the way do pluck it?Perché hai rotto i suoi recinti e così tutti i passanti ne raccolgono i frutti?God, why did you pull down the walls that protect your vine? Now every person who passes by picks its grapes.
13Que le sanglier des forêts la dévaste, et que les bêtes des champs la broutent?The boar out of the wood doth ravage it, And the wild beasts of the field feed on it.Il cinghiale del bosco la devasta e le fiere della campagna vi pascolano.Wild pigs come and walk on your vine. Wild animals come and eat the leaves.
14Dieu des armées, reviens! Regarde des cieux, et vois, et visite cette vigne.Turn again, we beseech thee, O God of hosts: Look down from heaven, and behold, and visit this vine,O DIO degli eserciti, ti preghiamo, ritorna; guarda dal cielo e vedi, e visita questa vigna,God All-Powerful, come back. Look down from heaven at your vine and protect it.
15Protège ce que ta droite a planté, et le fils que tu t'es choisi.And the stock which thy right hand planted, And the branch that thou madest strong for thyself.e le piante che la tua destra ha piantato, e il germoglio che tu hai reso forte per te.God, look at the vine you planted with your own hands. Look at the young plant you raised.
16Elle est brûlée, elle est coupée. Ils périssent devant le courroux de ta face.It is burned with fire, it is cut down: They perish at the rebuke of thy countenance.Essa è arsa dal fuoco ed è recisa; essi periscono alla minaccia del tuo volto.Your vine was burned in the fire like dry dung. You were angry at it and destroyed it.
17Que ta main soit sur l'homme de ta droite, sur le fils de l'homme que tu t'es choisi;Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, Upon the son of man whom thou madest strong for thyself.Sia la tua mano sull'uomo della tua destra, sul figlio dell'uomo che hai reso forte per te.God, reach out to the son who stood by your right side. Reach out to the son you raised.
18Et nous ne nous détournerons plus de toi; rends-nous la vie, et nous invoquerons ton nom.So shall we not go back from thee: Quicken thou us, and we will call upon thy name.Così non ci allontaneremo più da te. Facci rivivere e noi invocheremo il tuo nome.He will not leave you again. Let him live, and he will worship your name.
19Éternel, Dieu des armées, rétablis-nous; fais luire ta face, et nous serons sauvés!Turn us again, O Jehovah God of hosts; Cause thy face to shine, and we shall be saved. Psalm 81 For the Chief Musician; set to the Gittith. [A Psalm] of Asaph.O Eterno, DIO degli eserciti, ristoraci; fa' risplendere il tuo volto e saremo salvati.Lord God All-Powerful, come back to us. Accept us. Save us.
