Au maître-chantre, des Jéduthunites. Psaume d'Asaph. Ma voix s'adresse à Dieu, et je crie, ma voix s'adresse à Dieu, et il m'écoutera.I will cry unto God with my voice, Even unto God with my voice; and he will give ear unto me.Al maestro del coro. To the director. To Jeduthun. One of Asaph’s songs. I lift my voice to God and cry for help. I lift my voice to you God, listen to me!
In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord: My hand was stretched out in the night, and slacked not; My soul refused to be comforted. My Master, I come to you when I have trouble. I reached out for you all night long. My soul refused to be comforted.
Sélah (pause).I remember God, and am disquieted: I complain, and my spirit is overwhelmed. (Sela)I think about God, and I try to tell him how I feel. But I can’t.
Thou holdest mine eyes watching: I am so troubled that I cannot speak. You would not let me sleep. I tried to say something, but I was too upset.
I have considered the days of old, The years of ancient times.Ripenso ai giorni antichi, agli anni dei tempi passati.I kept thinking about the past. I kept thinking about things that happened long ago.
Je me rappelais mes mélodies de la nuit; je méditais en mon coeur, et mon esprit examinait.I call to remembrance my song in the night: I commune with mine own heart; And my spirit maketh diligent search. At night, I try to think about my songs. I talk with myself and try to understand.
Will the Lord cast off for ever? And will he be favorable no more?Mi rigetterà il Signore per sempre? E non mi gradirà mai più?I wonder, Has our Master left us forever? Will he ever want us again?
Is his lovingkindness clean gone for ever? Doth his promise fail for evermore?E la sua benignità cessata per sempre e la sua parola venuta meno per le generazioni future? Is God’s love gone forever? Will he ever speak to us again?
Dieu a-t-il oublié d'avoir pitié? A-t-il dans sa colère fermé ses compassions?Hath God forgotten to be gracious? Hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? (Sela)Has God forgotten what mercy is? Has his compassion changed to anger? SELAH
And I said, This is my infirmity; [But I will remember] the years of the right hand of the Most High. Then I thought, The thing that really bothers me is this: ‘Has God Most-High lost his power?’
Je me rappellerai les exploits de l'Éternel, me souvenant de tes merveilles d'autrefois;I will make mention of the deeds of Jehovah; For I will remember thy wonders of old.Ricorderò le opere dell'Eterno, sì, ricorderò le tue meraviglie dei tempi passati,I remember what the Lord did. God, I remember the amazing things that you did long ago.
Je méditerai sur toutes tes oeuvres, et je considérerai tes hauts faits.I will meditate also upon all thy work, And muse on thy doings.mediterò su tutte le tue opere e considererò le tue gesta.I thought about what you have done. I thought about those things.
O Dieu, tes voies sont saintes! Quel autre Dieu est grand comme Dieu?Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: Who is a great god like unto God?O DIO, la tua via è santa, quale DIO è grande come DIO?God, your ways are holy. God, no one is great like you are.
Thou art the God that doest wonders: Thou hast made known thy strength among the peoples. You are the God that did amazing things. You showed people your great power.
(Sélah.)Thou hast with thine arm redeemed thy people, The sons of Jacob and Joseph. (Sela)With your power you saved your people. You saved the descendants of Jacob and Joseph. SELAH
Les eaux te virent, ô Dieu! Les eaux te virent; elles tremblèrent; même les abîmes s'émurent. The waters saw thee, O God; The waters saw thee, they were afraid: The depths also trembled. God, the water saw you, and became afraid. The deep water shook with fear.
The clouds poured out water; The skies sent out a sound: Thine arrows also went abroad.Le nubi versarono diluvi d'acqua, i cieli tuonarono e le tue saette guizzarono. The thick clouds dropped their water. People heard loud thunder in the high clouds. Then your arrows of lightning flashed through the clouds.
The voice of thy thunder was in the whirlwind; The lightnings lightened the world: The earth trembled and shook. There were loud claps of thunder. Lightning lit up the world. The earth shook and trembled.
Thy way was in the sea, And thy paths in the great waters, And thy footsteps were not known. God, you walked through the deep water, you crossed the deep sea, but you left no footprints.
Thou leddest thy people like a flock, By the hand of Moses and Aaron.
