Cantique d'Asaph. Pourquoi, ô Dieu ! rejettes-tu pour toujours ? Pourquoi t'irrites-tu contre le troupeau de ton pâturage ?O God, why hast thou cast [us] off for ever? Why doth thine anger smoke against the sheep of thy pasture?Cantico di Asaf. O DIOA maskil of Asaph. God, did you leave us forever? Are you still angry at your people?
Souviens-toi de ton peuple que tu as acquis autrefois, Que tu as racheté comme la tribu de ton héritage ! Souviens-toi de la montagne de Sion, où tu faisais ta résidence ;Remember thy congregation, which thou hast gotten of old, Which thou hast redeemed to be the tribe of thine inheritance; [And] mount Zion, wherein thou hast dwelt. Remember the people you bought long ago. You saved us. We belong to you. Remember Mount Zion, the place that you lived.
Lift up thy feet unto the perpetual ruins, All the evil that the enemy hath done in the sanctuary. God, come walk through these ancient ruins. Come back to the Holy Place that the enemy destroyed.
Thine adversaries have roared in the midst of thine assembly; They have set up their ensigns for signs.I tuoi nemici hanno ruggito nel luogo delle tue assemblee; vi hanno posto le loro insegne per stendardi. The enemy shouted their war cries in the temple. They put their flags in the temple to show they won the war.
They seemed as men that lifted up Axes upon a thicket of trees. The enemy soldiers were like people cutting weeds with a hoe.
And now all the carved work thereof They break down with hatchet and hammers.E ora con asce e martelli demoliscono tutte le sue sculture.God, they used their axes and hatchets, and cut the carved, wooden panels in your temple.
They have set thy sanctuary on fire; They have profaned the dwelling-place of thy name [by casting it] to the ground. Those soldiers burned your Holy Place. That temple was built to honor your name. But they pulled it down to the ground.
They said in their heart, Let us make havoc of them altogether: They have burned up all the synagogues of God in the land. The enemy decided to crush us completely. They burned every holy place in the country.
We see not our signs: There is no more any prophet; Neither is there among us any that knoweth how long. We could not see any of our own signs. There are no more prophets. No person knows what to do.
Jusqu'à quand, ô Dieu ! l'oppresseur outragera-t-il, L'ennemi méprisera-t-il sans cesse ton nom ?How long, O God, shall the adversary reproach? Shall the enemy blaspheme thy name for ever? God, how much longer will the enemy make fun of us? Will you let them insult your name forever?
Pourquoi retires-tu ta main et ta droite ? Sors-la de ton sein ! détruis !Why drawest thou back thy hand, even thy right hand? [Pluck it] out of thy bosom [and] consume [them].Perché ritiri la tua mano, proprio la tua destra? Tirala fuori dal tuo seno e distruggili.God, why did you punish us so hard? You used your great power and destroyed us completely!
Yet God is my King of old, Working salvation in the midst of the earth. God, you have been our King for a long time. You helped us win many battles in this country.
Tu as fendu la mer par ta puissance, Tu as brisé les têtes des monstres sur les eaux ;Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength: Thou brakest the heads of the sea-monsters in the waters. God, you used your great power, to split open the Red Sea.
Tu as écrasé la tête du crocodile, Tu l'as donné pour nourriture au peuple du désert.Thou brakest the heads of leviathan in pieces; Thou gavest him to be food to the people inhabiting the wilderness. You defeated the great sea monsters! You smashed the heads of Leviathan, and left his body for the animals to eat.
Thou didst cleave fountain and flood: Thou driedst up mighty rivers.Facesti sgorgare fonti e torrenti e seccasti fiumi perenni. You make the springs and rivers flow. And you make the rivers become dry.
A toi est le jour, à toi est la nuit ; Tu as créé la lumière et le soleil. The day is thine, the night also is thine: Thou hast prepared the light and the sun. God, you control the day, and you control the night. You made the moon and the sun.
Tu as fixé toutes les limites de la terre, Tu as établi l'été et l'hiver.Thou hast set all the borders of the earth: Thou hast made summer and winter.Tu hai fissato tutti i confini della terra e hai fatto l'estate e l'inverno. You set the limits for everything on earth. And you created summer and winter.
Souviens-toi que l'ennemi outrage l'Éternel, Et qu'un peuple insensé méprise ton nom !Remember this, that the enemy hath reproached, O Jehovah, And that a foolish people hath blasphemed thy name. God, remember these things. Remember, the enemy insulted you! Those foolish people hate your name!
Ne livre pas aux bêtes l'âme de ta tourterelle, N'oublie pas à toujours la vie de tes malheureux !Oh deliver not the soul of thy turtle-dove unto the wild beast: Forget not the life of thy poor for ever. Don’t let those wild animals take your dove! Don’t forget your poor people forever.
Have respect unto the covenant; For the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of violence. Remember our Agreement! There is violence in every dark place in this land.
Que l'opprimé ne retourne pas confus ! Que le malheureux et le pauvre célèbrent ton nom !Oh let not the oppressed return ashamed: Let the poor and needy praise thy name. God, your people were treated badly. Don’t let them be hurt any more. Your poor, helpless people praise you.
Lève-toi, ô Dieu ! défends ta cause ! Souviens-toi des outrages que te fait chaque jour l'insensé !Arise, O God, plead thine own cause: Remember how the foolish man reproacheth thee all the day. God, get up and fight! Remember, those fools challenged you!
N'oublie pas les clameurs de tes adversaires, Le tumulte sans cesse croissant de ceux qui s'élèvent contre toi !Forget not the voice of thine adversaries: The tumult of those that rise up against thee ascendeth continually. Psalm 75 For the Chief Musician; [set to] Al-tash-heth. A Psalm of Asaph; a song. Don’t forget the shouts of your enemies. They insulted you again and again.
