1De Salomon. O Dieu, donne tes jugements au roi, Et ta justice au fils du roi !Give the king thy judgments, O God, And thy righteousness unto the king`s son.Salmo di Salomone. O DIOTo Solomon. God, help the king make wise decisions like you. And help the king’s son learn about your goodness.
2Il jugera ton peuple avec justice, Et tes malheureux avec équité.He will judge thy people with righteousness, And thy poor with justice.ed egli giudicherà il tuo popolo con giustizia e i tuoi afflitti con rettitudine.Help the king judge your people fairly. Help him make wise decisions for your poor people.
3Les montagnes porteront la paix pour le peuple, Et les collines aussi, par l'effet de ta justice.The mountains shall bring peace to the people, And the hills, in righteousness.I monti porteranno pace al popolo e i colli giustizia.Let there be peace and justice throughout the land.
4Il fera droit aux malheureux du peuple, Il sauvera les enfants du pauvre, Et il écrasera l'oppresseur.He will judge the poor of the people, He will save the children of the needy, And will break in pieces the oppressor.Egli farà giustizia agli afflitti del popolo, salverà i figli del bisognoso e schiaccerà l'oppressore.Let the king be fair to the poor people. Let him help the helpless. Let him punish the people who hurt them.
5On te craindra, tant que subsistera le soleil, Tant que paraîtra la lune, de génération en génération.They shall fear thee while the sun endureth, And so long as the moon, throughout all generations.Essi ti temeranno finché dureranno il sole e la luna, per tutte le generazioni.May people fear and respect the king as long as the sun shines and the moon is in the sky. May people fear and respect him forever!
6Il sera comme une pluie qui tombe sur un terrain fauché, Comme des ondées qui arrosent la campagne.He will come down like rain upon the mown grass, As showers that water the earth.Egli scenderà come pioggia sull'erba falciata, come un acquazzone che annaffia la terra.Help the king be like rain falling on the fields, like showers falling on the land.
7En ses jours le juste fleurira, Et la paix sera grande jusqu'à ce qu'il n'y ait plus de lune.In his days shall the righteous flourish, And abundance of peace, till the moon be no more.Nei suoi giorni il giusto fiorirà e vi sarà abbondanza di pace finché non vi sia più luna.Let goodness blossom while he is king. Let peace continue as long as the moon.
8Il dominera d'une mer à l'autre, Et du fleuve aux extrémités de la terre.He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, And from the River unto the ends of the earth.Egli regnerà da un mare all'altro e dal fiume fino alle estremità della terra.Let his kingdom grow from sea to sea, from the Euphrates River to the faraway places on earth.
9Devant lui, les habitants du désert fléchiront le genou, Et ses ennemis lécheront la poussière.They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; And his enemies shall lick the dust.Gli abitanti del deserto s'inchineranno davanti a lui, e i suoi nemici leccheranno la polvere.May all the people living in the desert bow down to him. May all his enemies bow before him with their faces in the dirt.
10Les rois de Tarsis et des îles paieront des tributs, Les rois de Séba et de Saba offriront des présents.The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall render tribute: The kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.I re di Tarshish e delle isole gli pagheranno il tributo, i re di Sceba e di Saba gli offriranno doni.May the kings of Tarshish and all the faraway lands bring gifts to him. May the kings of Sheba and Seba bring their tribute to him.
11Tous les rois se prosterneront devant lui, Toutes les nations le serviront.Yea, all kings shall fall down before him; All nations shall serve him.Sì, tutti i re lo adoreranno e tutte le nazioni lo servirannoMay all kings bow down to our king. May all nations serve him.
12Car il délivrera le pauvre qui crie, Et le malheureux qui n'a point d'aide.For he will deliver the needy when he crieth, And the poor, that hath no helper.Poiché egli libererà il bisognoso che grida, e il misero che non ha chi lo aiuti.Our king helps the helpless. Our king helps poor, helpless people.
13Il aura pitié du misérable et de l'indigent, Et il sauvera la vie des pauvres ;He will have pity on the poor and needy, And the souls of the needy he will save.Egli avrà compassione del debole e del bisognoso e salverà la vita dei bisognosi.Poor, helpless people depend on him. The king keeps them alive.
14Il les affranchira de l'oppression et de la violence, Et leur sang aura du prix à ses yeux.He will redeem their soul from oppression and violence; And precious will their blood be in his sight:Egli riscatterà la loro vita dall'oppressione e dalla violenza, e il loro sangue sarà prezioso davanti a lui.The king saves them from cruel people who try to hurt them. The lives of those poor people are very important to the king.
15Ils vivront, et lui donneront de l'or de Séba ; Ils prieront pour lui sans cesse, ils le béniront chaque jour.And they shall live; and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba: And men shall pray for him continually; They shall bless him all the day long.Ed egli vivrà; e gli sarà dato l'oro di Sceba, si pregherà per lui del continuo, e sarà benedetto tutto il giorno.Long live the king! And let him receive gold from Sheba. Always pray for the king. Bless him every day.
16Les blés abonderont dans le pays, au sommet des montagnes, Et leurs épis s'agiteront comme les arbres du Liban ; Les hommes fleuriront dans les villes comme l'herbe de la terre.There shall be abundance of grain in the earth upon the top of the mountains; The fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon: And they of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.Vi sarà abbondanza di grano sulla terra, sulla sommità dei monti; le sue spighe ondeggeranno come gli alberi del Libano, e gli abitanti delle città fioriranno come l'erba della terra.May the fields grow plenty of grain. May the hills be covered with crops. May the fields be as fertile as Lebanon. And may the cities be filled with people like fields covered with grass.
17Son nom subsistera toujours, Aussi longtemps que le soleil son nom se perpétuera ; Par lui on se bénira mutuellement, Et toutes les nations le diront heureux.His name shall endure for ever; His name shall be continued as long as the sun: And men shall be blessed in him; All nations shall call him happy.Il suo nome durerà in eterno, il suo nome sarà propagato finché vi sarà il sole; e tutte le nazioni saranno benedette in lui e lo proclameranno beato.May the king be famous forever. May people remember his name as long as the sun shines. May the people be blessed by him. And may they all bless him.
18Béni soit l'Éternel Dieu, le Dieu d'Israël, qui seul fait des prodiges !Blessed be Jehovah God, the God of Israel, Who only doeth wondrous things:Benedetto sia l'Eterno DIO, il DIO d'Israele; egli solo fa meraviglie.Praise the Lord God, the God of Israel! Only God can do such amazing things.
19Béni soit à jamais son nom glorieux ! Que toute la terre soit remplie de sa gloire ! Amen ! Amen !And blessed be his glorious name for ever; And let the whole earth be filled with his glory. Amen, and Amen.Sia benedetto in eterno il suo nome glorioso, e tutta la terra sia ripiena della sua gloria, Amen, amen.Praise his glorious name forever! Let his glory fill the whole world! Amen and Amen!
