Praise waiteth for thee, O God, in Zion; And unto thee shall the vow be performed. To the director. One of David’s songs of praise. God on Zion, I praise you. I give you the things I promised.
O toi qui entends la prière, toute créature viendra jusqu'à toi.O thou that hearest prayer, Unto thee shall all flesh come.We tell about the things you have done. And you hear our prayers. You hear the prayers of every person who comes to you.
Iniquities prevail against me: As for our transgressions, thou wilt forgive them. When our sins become too heavy for us, you take away those sins.
Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach [unto thee], That he may dwell in thy courts: We shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, Thy holy temple.God, you chose your people. You chose us to come to your temple and worship you. And we are very happy! We have all the wonderful things in your temple, your holy palace.
By terrible things thou wilt answer us in righteousness, Oh God of our salvation, Thou that art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, And of them that are afar off upon the sea:God, you save us. Good people pray to you, and you answer their prayers. You do amazing things for them. People all around the world trust you.
Who by his strength setteth fast the mountains, Being girded about with might;God made the mountains with his power. We see his power all around us.
Who stilleth the roaring of the seas, The roaring of their waves, And the tumult of the peoples.God made the rough seas calm. And God made the oceans of people on the earth.
They also that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid at thy tokens: Thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice.People all around the world are amazed at the wonderful things you do. The sunrise and sunset makes us so happy!
Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it, Thou greatly enrichest it; The river of God is full of water: Thou providest them grain, when thou hast so prepared the earth. You take care of the land. You water it and make it grow things. God, you fill the streams with water and make the crops grow.
Thou waterest its furrows abundantly; Thou settlest the ridges thereof: Thou makest it soft with showers; Thou blessest the springing thereof. You pour the rain on the plowed fields. You soak the fields with water. You make the ground soft with rain, and you make the young plants grow.
Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; And thy paths drop fatness. You start the new year with a good harvest. You load the wagons with many crops.
They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness; And the hills are girded with joy.The desert and hills are covered with grass.
The pastures are clothed with flocks; The valleys also are covered over with grain; They shout for joy, they also sing. Psalm 66 For the Chief Musician. A song, a Psalm. The pastures are covered with sheep. The valleys are filled with grain. Everyone is singing and shouting with happiness.
