O Dieu, tu es mon Dieu, je te cherche au point du jour; mon âme a soif de toi, ma chair te souhaite, dans cette terre aride, desséchée, sans eau,O God, thou art my God; earnestly will I seek thee: My soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee, In a dry and weary land, where no water is.Salmo di DavideOne of David’s songs. From the time he was in the desert of Judah. God, you are my God. And I want you so much. My soul and my body thirst for you, like a dry, weary land with no water.
So have I looked upon thee in the sanctuary, To see thy power and thy glory. Yes, I have seen you in your temple. I have seen your strength and glory.
Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise thee. Your love is better than life. My lips praise you.
So will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name. Yes, I will praise you in my life. In your name, I lift my arms in prayer.
Mon âme est rassasiée comme de moelle et de graisse; ma bouche te loue avec des cris de réjouissance; My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; And my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips;L'anima mia sarà saziata come di midollo e di grasso, e la mia bocca ti loderà con labbra giubilanti.I will be satisfied as if I had eaten the best foods. And with joyful lips my mouth will praise you.
When I remember thee upon my bed, [And] meditate on thee in the night-watches. I will remember you while lying on my bed. I will remember you in the middle of the night.
Car tu as été mon secours; aussi je me réjouirai sous l'ombre de tes ailes. For thou hast been my help, And in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice. You really have helped me! I am happy that you protected me!
My soul followeth hard after thee: Thy right hand upholdeth me.L'anima mia si tiene stretta a te; la tua destra mi sostiene. My soul clings to you. And you hold my hand.
But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, Shall go into the lower parts of the earth. Some people are trying to kill me. But they will be destroyed. They will go down to their graves.
They shall be given over to the power of the sword: They shall be a portion for foxes. They will be killed with swords. Wild dogs will eat their dead bodies.
But the king shall rejoice in God: Every one that sweareth by him shall glory; For the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped. Psalm 64 For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David. But the king will be happy with his God. And the people who promised to obey him will praise God. Why? Because he defeated all those liars.
