(6 :1) Au chef des chantres. Avec instruments à cordes. Sur la harpe à huit cordes. Psaume de David. (6 :2) Éternel ! ne me punis pas dans ta colère, Et ne me châtie pas dans ta fureur.O Jehovah, rebuke me not in thine anger, Neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure. To the director, with stringed instruments, accompanied by the Sheminith. A song of David. Lord, don’t correct me in anger. Don’t be angry and punish me.
Have mercy upon me, O Jehovah; for I am withered away: O Jehovah, heal me; for my bones are troubled.Abbi pietà di me, o Eterno; perché sono sfinito dal male; guariscimi, O Eterno, perché le mie ossa sono afflitte;Lord, be kind to me. I am sick and weak. Heal me! My bones are shaking.
(6 :4) Mon âme est toute troublée ; Et toi, Éternel ! jusques à quand ?...My soul also is sore troubled: And thou, O Jehovah, how long? My whole body is shaking. Lord, how long until you heal me?
(6 :5) Reviens, Éternel ! délivre mon âme ; Sauve-moi, à cause de ta miséricorde.Return, O Jehovah, deliver my soul: Save me for thy lovingkindness` sake. Lord, come back and make me strong again! You are very kind, so save me.
For in death there is no remembrance of thee: In Sheol who shall give thee thanks? Dead people in their graves don’t remember you. People in the place of death don’t praise you. So heal me!
(6 :7) Je m'épuise à force de gémir ; Chaque nuit ma couche est baignée de mes larmes, Mon lit est arrosé de mes pleurs.I am weary with my groaning; Every night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears. Lord, all night I prayed to you. My bed is wet from my tears. Tears are dripping from my bed. I am weak from crying to you.
Mine eye wasteth away because of grief; It waxeth old because of all mine adversaries. My enemies have given me many troubles. This made me very sad with grief. Now my eyes are weak from crying.
(6 :9) Éloignez-vous de moi, vous tous qui faites le mal ! Car l'Éternel entend la voix de mes larmes ;Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; For Jehovah hath heard the voice of my weeping. Go away you bad people! Why? Because the Lord heard my cries.
(6 :10) L'Éternel exauce mes supplications, L'Éternel accueille ma prière.Jehovah hath heard my supplication; Jehovah will receive my prayer.L'Eterno ha dato ascolto alla mia supplica; l'Eterno accoglie la mia preghiera. The Lord heard my prayer. And the Lord accepted and answered my prayer.
(6 :11) Tous mes ennemis sont confondus, saisis d'épouvante ; Ils reculent, soudain couverts de honte. All mine enemies shall be put to shame and sore troubled: They shall turn back, they shall be put to shame suddenly. Psalm 7 Shiggaion of David, which he sang unto Jehova, concerning the words of Cush a Benjamite.Tutti i miei nemici saranno confusi e grandemente smarriti; essi volteranno le spalle e saranno confusi in un momento. All my enemies will be upset and disappointed. Something will happen suddenly, and they will all leave in shame.
