Car tu m'as relevé, et tu n'as pas permis que mes ennemis se réjouissent à mon sujet.I will extol thee, O Jehovah; for thou hast raised me up, And hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.Salmo. Ti esalteròLord, you lifted me up out of my troubles. You did not let my enemies defeat me and laugh at me. So I will show honor to you.
Éternel, mon Dieu, j'ai crié à toi, et tu m'as guéri.O Jehovah my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.O Eterno, mio Dio ho gridato a te e tu mi hai guarito.Lord my God, I prayed to you. And you healed me.
Éternel, tu as fait remonter mon âme du Sépulcre; tu m'as rappelé à la vie, d'entre ceux qui descendent vers la fosse.O Jehovah, thou hast brought up my soul from Sheol; Thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.O Eterno, tu hai fatto risalire l'anima mia fuori dallo Sceol, mi hai tenuto in vita perché non scendessi nella fossa. You lifted me out of the grave. You let me live. I did not have to stay with the dead people lying in the pit.
Sing praise unto Jehovah, O ye saints of his, And give thanks to his holy memorial [name].Cantate lodi all'Eterno, voi suoi santi, e celebrate la sua SANTITA',God’s followers, sing praises to the Lord! Praise his holy name!
For his anger is but for a moment; His favor is for a life-time: Weeping may tarry for the night, But joy [cometh] in the morning.perché la sua ira dura solo un momento, ma la sua benignità dura tutta una vita. God was angry, so the decision was death. But he showed his love, and gave me life. At night, I lay crying. The next morning, I was happy and singing!
As for me, I said in my prosperity, I shall never be moved. When I was safe and secure, I thought nothing could hurt me!
Thou, Jehovah, of thy favor hadst made my mountain to stand strong: Thou didst hide thy face; I was troubled.O Eterno per il tuo favore, avevi reso forte il mio monte; tu nascondesti la tua faccia, e io rimasi smarrito.Yes, Lord, while you were kind to me, I felt like nothing could defeat me! But when you turned away from me, I became scared and shook with fear.
Éternel, j'ai crié à toi; j'ai fait ma supplication à l'Éternel, disant:I cried to thee, O Jehovah; And unto Jehovah I made supplication:Io ho gridato a te, o Eterno, ho supplicato l'Eterno,So God, I turned and prayed to you. I asked you to show mercy to me.
What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth?dicendo: Che utilità avrai dal mio sangue, se scendo nella fossa? Potrà forse la polvere celebrarti? Potrà essa proclamare la tua verità?I said, God, what good is it if I die and go down into the grave? Dead people just lie in the dirt! They don’t praise you. They don’t tell people how much we can depend on you.
Éternel, écoute, aie pitié de moi! Éternel, sois-moi en aide!Hear, O Jehovah, and have mercy upon me: Jehovah, be thou my helper. Lord, hear my prayer and be kind to me! Lord, help me!
Tu as changé mon deuil en allégresse, tu as délié le sac dont j'étais couvert, tu m'as ceint de joie,Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing; Thou hast loosed my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;Tu hai mutato il mio lamento in danza; hai rimosso il mio cilicio, e mi hai rivestito di gioia,I prayed and you helped me! You changed my crying into dancing. You took away my clothes of sadness. And you wrapped me in happiness.
To the end that [my] glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O Jehovah my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever. Psalm 31 For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.affinché la mia anima possa cantare gloria a te senza posa. O Eterno, DIO mio, io ti celebrerò per sempre.Lord, my God, I will praise you forever, so there will never be silence, and there will always be someone singing songs to honor you.
