The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works; There is none that doeth good. Sono corrottiTo the director. David’s song A foolish person says in his heart, There is no God. Foolish people do terrible, rotten things. Not even one of them does good.
Jehovah looked down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there were any that did understand, That did seek after God.L'Eterno guarda dal cielo sui figli degli uomini per vedere se vi sia qualcuno che abbia intendimento, che cerchi DIO.The Lord looked down from heaven to see if there were any wise people. (Wise people turn to God for help.)
They are all gone aside; they are together become filthy; There is none that doeth good, no, not one. But every person had turned away from God. All people had become bad. Not even one person was doing good!
Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge, Who eat up my people [as] they eat bread, And call not upon Jehovah? Bad people have destroyed my people. And those bad people don’t know God. Bad people have plenty of food to eat. And they don’t even worship the Lord.
There were they in great fear; For God is in the generation of the righteous.Là saranno presi da una grande paura, perché DIO è con la gente giusta. Those bad people didn’t want to listen to advice from a poor man.
Ye put to shame the counsel of the poor, Because Jehovah is his refuge. Why? Because that poor man depended on God. But God is with his good people. So bad people have plenty to fear.
Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When Jehovah bringeth back the captivity of his people, Then shall Jacob rejoice, [and] Israel shall be glad. Psalm 15 A Psalm of David.Oh! Who on Zion saves Israel? It is the Lord who saves Israel! The Lord’s people were taken away and forced to be prisoners. But the Lord will bring his people back. Then Jacob (Israel) will be very happy.
