1(102 :1) Prière d'un malheureux, lorsqu'il est abattu et qu'il répand sa plainte devant l'Éternel. (102 :2) Éternel, écoute ma prière, Et que mon cri parvienne jusqu'à toi !Hear my prayer, O Jehovah, And let my cry come unto thee.Preghiera dell'afflitto mentre è abbattuto ed effonde il suo lamento davanti all'Eterno. O Eterno ascolta la mia preghiera e giunga a te il mio grido.Lord, hear my prayer. Listen to my cry for help.
2(102 :3) Ne me cache pas ta face au jour de ma détresse ! Incline vers moi ton oreille quand je crie ! Hâte-toi de m'exaucer !Hide not thy face from me in the day of my distress: Incline thine ear unto me; In the day when I call answer me speedily.Non nascondermi il tuo volto nel giorno della mia avversità. Tendi verso di me il tuo orecchio; quando ti invoco affrettati a rispondermi.Lord, don’t turn away from me when I have troubles. Listen to me. When I cry for help, quickly answer me.
3(102 :4) Car mes jours s'évanouissent en fumée, Et mes os sont enflammés comme un tison.For my days consume away like smoke, And my bones are burned as a firebrand.Poiché i miei giorni svaniscono come fumo e le mie ossa ardono come un tizzone.My life is passing away like smoke. My life is like a fire slowly burning out.
4(102 :5) Mon coeur est frappé et se dessèche comme l'herbe ; J'oublie même de manger mon pain.My heart is smitten like grass, and withered; For I forget to eat my bread.Il mio cuore è percosso e inaridisce come l'erba, e dimentico persino di prendere cibo.My strength is gone—I am like dry, dying grass. I even forget to eat my food.
5(102 :6) Mes gémissements sont tels Que mes os s'attachent à ma chair.By reason of the voice of my groaning My bones cleave to my flesh.A forza di gemere la mia pelle si attacca alle mie ossa.Because of my sadness, I am losing weight.
6(102 :7) Je ressemble au pélican du désert, Je suis comme le chat-huant des ruines ;I am like a pelican of the wilderness; I am become as an owl of the waste places.Rassomiglio al pellicano del deserto e sono diventato come il gufo dei luoghi desolati.I am lonely like an owl living in the desert. I am alone like an owl living in old ruined buildings.
7(102 :8) Je n'ai plus de sommeil, et je suis Comme l'oiseau solitaire sur un toit.I watch, and am become like a sparrow That is alone upon the house-top.Sono insonne e sono come il passero solitario sul tetto.I can’t sleep. I am like a lonely bird on a roof.
8(102 :9) Chaque jour mes ennemis m'outragent, Et c'est par moi que jurent mes adversaires en fureur.Mine enemies reproach me all the day; They that are mad against me do curse by me.I miei nemici mi scherniscono tutto il giorno; quelli che mi deridono imprecano contro di me.My enemies always insult me. They make fun of me and curse me.
9(102 :10) Je mange la poussière au lieu de pain, Et je mêle des larmes à ma boisson,For I have eaten ashes like bread, And mingled my drink with weeping,Poiché mangio cenere come pane e mescolo lacrime a quel che bevo,My great sadness is my only food. My tears fall into my drinks.
10(102 :11) A cause de ta colère et de ta fureur ; Car tu m'as soulevé et jeté au loin.Because of thine indignation and thy wrath: For thou hast taken me up, and cast me away.Sì, a motivo del tuo sdegno e della tua ira, mi hai sollevato e gettato lontano,Why? Because you are angry at me, Lord. You lifted me up and then you threw me away.
11(102 :12) Mes jours sont comme l'ombre à son déclin, Et je me dessèche comme l'herbe.My days are like a shadow that declineth; And I am withered like grass.I miei giorni sono come ombra che si allunga, e io inaridisco come erba.My life is almost finished, like the long shadows at the end of the day. I am like dry and dying grass.
12(102 :13) Mais toi, Éternel ! tu règnes à perpétuité, Et ta mémoire dure de génération en génération.But thou, O Jehovah, wilt abide for ever; And thy memorial [name] unto all generations.Ma tu, o Eterno, rimani per sempre, e il tuo ricordo dura per ogni età.But Lord, you will live forever! Your name will continue forever and ever!
13(102 :14) Tu te lèveras, tu auras pitié de Sion ; Car le temps d'avoir pitié d'elle, Le temps fixé est à son terme ;Thou wilt arise, and have mercy upon Zion; For it is time to have pity upon her, Yea, the set time is come.Tu ti leverai e avrai compassione di Sion, perché è tempo di usarle misericordia; e il tempo fissato è giunto.You will rise and comfort Zion. The time is coming when you will be kind to Zion.
14(102 :15) Car tes serviteurs en aiment les pierres, Ils en chérissent la poussière.For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, And have pity upon her dust.Poiché i tuoi servi hanno affezione alle sue stesse pietre e hanno pietà della sua polvere.Your servants love her (Zion‘s) stones. They love even the dust of that city!
15(102 :16) Alors les nations craindront le nom de l'Éternel, Et tous les rois de la terre ta gloire.So the nations shall fear the name of Jehovah, And all the kings of the earth thy glory.Sì, le nazioni temeranno il nome dell'Eterno e tutti i re della terra la tua gloria,People will worship the Lord’s name. God, all the kings on earth will honor you.
16(102 :17) Oui, l'Éternel rebâtira Sion, Il se montrera dans sa gloire.For Jehovah hath built up Zion; He hath appeared in his glory.quando l'Eterno ricostruirà Sion e apparirà nella sua gloria.The Lord will build Zion again. People will again see her glory.
17(102 :18) Il est attentif à la prière du misérable, Il ne dédaigne pas sa prière.He hath regarded the prayer of the destitute, And hath not despised their prayer.Egli ascolterà la preghiera dei derelitti e non disprezzerà la loro supplica.God will answer the prayers of the people he left alive. God will listen to their prayers.
18(102 :19) Que cela soit écrit pour la génération future, Et que le peuple qui sera créé célèbre l'Éternel !This shall be written for the generation to come; And a people which shall be created shall praise Jehovah.Questo sarà scritto per la generazione futura, e il popolo che sarà creato loderà l'Eterno,Write these things for the future generation. And in the future, those people will praise the Lord.
19(102 :20) Car il regarde du lieu élevé de sa sainteté ; Du haut des cieux l'Éternel regarde sur la terre,For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; From heaven did Jehovah behold the earth;perché egli guarda dall'alto del suo santuario; dal cielo l'Eterno osserva la terra,The Lord will look down from his Holy Place above. The Lord will look down at the earth from heaven.
20(102 :21) Pour écouter les gémissements des captifs, Pour délivrer ceux qui vont périr,To hear the sighing of the prisoner; To loose those that are appointed to death;per udire il gemito dei prigionieri, per liberare i condannati a morte;And he will hear the prisoner’s prayers. He will free the people who were condemned to die.
21(102 :22) Afin qu'ils publient dans Sion le nom de l'Éternel, Et ses louanges dans Jérusalem,That men may declare the name of Jehovah in Zion, And his praise in Jerusalem;affinché proclamino in Sion il nome dell'Eterno e la sua lode in Gerusalemme,Then people in Zion will tell about the Lord. They will praise his name in Jerusalem.
22(102 :23) Quand tous les peuples s'assembleront, Et tous les royaumes, pour servir l'Éternel.When the peoples are gathered together, And the kingdoms, to serve Jehovah.quando i popoli e i regni si raduneranno insieme per servire l'Eterno.Nations will be gathered together. Kingdoms will come to serve the Lord.
23(102 :24) Il a brisé ma force dans la route, Il a abrégé mes jours.He weakened my strength in the way; He shortened my days.Per via egli ha diminuito il mio vigore e ha abbreviato i miei giorni.My strength failed me. My life is cut short.
24(102 :25) Je dis : Mon Dieu, ne m'enlève pas au milieu de mes jours, Toi, dont les années durent éternellement !I said, O my God, take me not away in the midst of my days: Thy years are throughout all generations.Ho detto: DIO mio, non portarmi via nel mezzo dei miei giorni. I tuoi anni durano per ogni età.So I said, Don’t let me die while I am still young. God, you will live forever and ever!
25(102 :26) Tu as anciennement fondé la terre, Et les cieux sont l'ouvrage de tes mains.Of old didst thou lay the foundation of the earth; And the heavens are the work of thy hands.Anticamente tu hai stabilito la terra e i cieli sono opera delle tue mani;Long ago, you made the world. You made the sky with your own hands!
26(102 :27) Ils périront, mais tu subsisteras ; Ils s'useront tous comme un vêtement ; Tu les changeras comme un habit, et ils seront changés.They shall perish, but thou shalt endure; Yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; As a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed:essi periranno, ma tu rimarrai: si logoreranno tutti come un vestito; tu li muterai come una veste ed essi saranno cambiati,The world and sky will end, but you will live forever! They will wear out like clothes. And, like clothes, you will change them. They will all be changed.
27(102 :28) Mais toi, tu restes le même, Et tes années ne finiront point.But thou art the same, And thy years shall have no end.Ma tu sei sempre lo stesso e gli anni tuoi non avranno mai fine.But you, God, never change. You will live forever!
28(102 :29) Les fils de tes serviteurs habiteront leur pays, Et leur postérité s'affermira devant toi.The children of thy servants shall continue, And their seed shall be established before thee. Psalm 103 [A Psalm] of David.I figli dei tuoi servi avranno una dimora, e la loro progenie sarà stabile davanti a te.We are your servants today. Our children will live here. And even their descendants will be here to worship you.
