| 5 | And the pride of Israel doth testify to his face: therefore shall Israel and Ephraim fall in their iniquity: Judah also shall fall with them. | Et la fierté d'Israël rend témoignage sur son visage. Israël et Éphraïm tomberont par leur iniquité; Juda aussi tombera avec eux. | Ma l'orgoglio d'Israele testimonia contro di lui; perciò Israele ed Efraim cadranno per la loro iniquità e con loro cadrà anche Giuda. |
| 6 | They shall go with their flocks and with their herds to seek the LORD; but they shall not find him; he hath withdrawn himself from them. | Ils iront avec leurs brebis et leurs boeufs chercher l'Éternel, mais ils ne le trouveront point; il s'est retiré d'eux. | Con le loro greggi e con le loro mandrie andranno in cerca dell'Eterno, ma non lo troveranno; egli si è ritirato da loro. |

| 9 | Ephraim shall be desolate in the day of rebuke: among the tribes of Israel have I made known that which shall surely be. | Derrière toi, Benjamin! | 11 | Ephraim is oppressed and broken in judgment, because he willingly walked after the commandment. | Éphraïm est opprimé, accablé justement; car c'est volontiers qu'il suit les commandements de l'homme. | Efraim è oppresso e frantumato nel giudizio, perché ha deliberatamente seguito precetti umani. |
| 12 | Therefore will I be unto Ephraim as a moth, and to the house of Judah as rottenness. | Je serai donc comme la teigne pour Éphraïm, comme la vermoulure pour la maison de Juda. | Perciò io sarò per Efraim come una tarma e per la casa di Giuda come la carie. |
| 13 | When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah saw his wound, then went Ephraim to the Assyrian, and sent to king Jareb: yet could he not heal you, nor cure you of your wound. | Éphraïm a vu sa maladie, et Juda sa plaie. Éphraïm s'en va vers Assur, et on envoie vers le roi Jareb; mais il ne pourra ni vous guérir, ni vous délivrer de votre plaie. | Quando Efraim ha veduto la sua infermità e Giuda la sua ferita, Efraim è andato in Assiria e ha mandato messaggeri al re Jareb, tuttavia egli non può guarirvi né curarvi la piaga. |
| 14 | For I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah: I, even I, will tear and go away; I will take away, and none shall rescue him. | Je serai comme un lion pour Éphraïm, et comme un lionceau pour la maison de Juda: moi, moi, je déchirerai! | Poiché io sarò per Efraim come un leone e per la casa di Giuda come un leoncello; io, io stesso dilanierò e me ne andrò; porterò via la preda e nessuno me la strapperà. |
| 15 | I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early. | Je m'en irai, j'emporterai, sans que personne délivre! Je m'en irai, je retournerai en mon lieu; jusqu'à ce qu'ils se reconnaissent coupables, et qu'ils cherchent ma face. Dans leur angoisse, ils me chercheront avec empressement. | Me ne ritornerò al mio luogo, finché non si riconosceranno colpevoli e cercheranno la mia faccia, nella loro avversità mi cercheranno con diligenza. |
