| 1 | (12:2) Éphraïm se repaît de vent, et poursuit le vent d'orient; tout le jour il multiplie le mensonge et la dévastation; et ils font alliance avec l'Assyrie, et portent de l'huile en Égypte. | Ephraim feedeth on wind, and followeth after the east wind: he continually multiplieth lies and desolation; and they make a covenant with Assyria, and oil is carried into Egypt. | Efraim si pasce di vento e va dietro al vento d'est; ogni giorno moltiplica menzogne e violenza; fanno alleanza con l'Assiria e portano olio in Egitto. |
| 2 | (12:3) L'Éternel a aussi un débat avec Juda, et il punira Jacob selon ses voies, et il lui rendra selon ses actions. | Jehovah hath also a controversy with Judah, and will punish Jacob according to his ways; according to his doings will he recompense him. | L'Eterno è pure in lite con Giuda e punirà Giacobbe per la sua condotta; lo ripagherà secondo le sue opere. |
| 3 | (12:4) Dans le ventre il prit son frère par le talon, et par sa force il lutta avec Dieu; | In the womb he took his brother by the heel; and in his manhood he had power with God: | Nel grembo materno prese il fratello per il calcagno e nella sua forza lottò con DIO. |
| 4 | (12:5) oui, il lutta avec l'Ange et prévalut: il pleura et le supplia. A Béthel; il le trouva; et là, il parla avec nous: | yea, he had power over the angel, and prevailed; he wept, and made supplication unto him: he found him at Beth-el, and there he spake with us, | Sì, lottò con l'Angelo e vinse, pianse e lo supplicò. | 5 | (12:6) et l'Éternel, le Dieu des armées, - l'Éternel, est son mémorial. | even Jehovah, the God of hosts; Jehovah is his memorial [name]. | cioè l'Eterno, il DIO degli eserciti, il cui nome è l'Eterno. |
| 6 | (12:7) Et toi, retourne à ton Dieu, garde la piété et le jugement, et attends-toi à ton Dieu continuellement. | Therefore turn thou to thy God: keep kindness and justice, and wait for thy God continually. | Tu perciò ritorna al tuo DIO, pratica la misericordia e la rettitudine e spera sempre nel tuo DIO. |
| 7 | (12:8) C'est un marchand; la fausse balance est dans sa main; il aime à extorquer. | [He is] a trafficker, the balances of deceit are in his hand: he loveth to oppress. | Efraim è un mercante che tiene in mano bilance false e ama frodare. |
| 8 | (12:9) Et Éphraïm dit: Toutefois je me suis enrichi, je me suis procuré des biens. Dans tout mon travail on n'a trouvé contre moi aucune iniquité qui soit péché. | And Ephraim said, Surely I am become rich, I have found me wealth: in all my labors they shall find in me no iniquity that were sin. | Efraim dice: Mi sono anche arricchito, mi sono procurato ricchezze; in tutte le mie fatiche non troveranno in me alcuna iniquità che sia peccato. |
| 9 | (12:10) Et moi, l'Éternel ton Dieu dès le pays d'Égypte, je te ferai encore habiter sous des tentes, comme aux jours de la fête solennelle. | But I am Jehovah thy God from the land of Egypt; I will yet again make thee to dwell in tents, as in the days of the solemn feast. | Ma io sono l'Eterno, il tuo DIO, fin dal paese d'Egitto. Ti farò ancora abitare in tende come nei giorni di solennità. |
| 10 | (12:11) Et j'ai parlé aux prophètes; et moi, j'ai multiplié les visions, et, par les prophètes, j'ai parlé en similitudes. | I have also spoken unto the prophets, and I have multiplied visions; and by the ministry of the prophets have I used similitudes. | Ho parlato ai profeti, ho moltiplicato le visioni e per mezzo dei profeti ho usato similitudini. |
| 11 | (12:12) Si Galaad est vanité, eux, ils ne seront que néant. A Guilgal, ils ont sacrifié des boeufs; leurs autels aussi seront comme des tas de pierres dans les sillons des champs. | Is Gilead iniquity? they are altogether false; in Gilgal they sacrifice bullocks; yea, their altars are as heaps in the furrows of the field. | Se Galaad si dà all'idolatria, sarà certamente ridotto a un nulla. Poiché in Ghilgal, sacrificano tori, i loro altari saranno certamente come mucchi di pietre lungo i solchi dei campi. |
| 12 | (12:13) Et Jacob s'enfuit dans la plaine de Syrie; et Israël servit pour une femme; et pour une femme, il garda les troupeaux. | And Jacob fled into the field of Aram, and Israel served for a wife, and for a wife he kept [sheep]. | Giacobbe fuggì nella pianura di Siria, e Israele servì per una moglie, per una moglie fece il guardiano di pecore. |
| 13 | (12:14) Et, par un prophète, l'Éternel fit monter Israël d'Égypte, et par un prophète il fut gardé. | And by a prophet Jehovah brought Israel up out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved. | Per mezzo di un profeta l'Eterno fece uscire Israele dall'Egitto, e Israele fu custodito da un profeta. |
| 14 | (12:15) Éphraïm a amèrement provoqué la colère: son Seigneur laissera sur lui son sang, et lui rendra ses mépris. | Ephraim hath provoked to anger most bitterly: therefore shall his blood be left upon him, and his reproach shall his Lord return unto him. | Efraim lo ha provocato amaramente ad ira, perciò il suo Signore gli farà ricadere addosso il sangue versato e farà tornare su di lui il suo vituperio. |
