| 2 | Et à son côté rebâtirent les gens de Jérico; et à côté d'eux Zaccur, fils d'Imri, rebâtit. | And next unto him builded the men of Jericho. And next to them builded Zaccur the son of Imri. |
| 3 | Et les enfants de Sénaa rebâtirent la porte des poissons, laquelle ils planchéièrent, et y mirent ses portes, ses serrures et ses barres. | And the fish gate did the sons of Hassenaah build; they laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, the bolts thereof, and the bars thereof. |

And next unto them repaired Meshullam the son of Berechiah, the son of Meshezabel. And next unto them repaired Zadok the son of Baana. |
| 5 | Et à leur côté réparèrent les Tékohites; mais les plus considérables d'entre eux ne se rangèrent point à l'oeuvre de leur Seigneur. | And next unto them the Tekoites repaired; but their nobles put not their necks to the work of their lord. |
| 6 | Et Jéhojadah, fils de Paséah, et Mésullam, fils de Bésodia, réparèrent la porte vieille, laquelle ils planchéièrent, et ils y mirent ses portes, ses serrures et ses barres. | And the old gate repaired Joiada the son of Paseah and Meshullam the son of Besodeiah; they laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, and the bolts thereof, and the bars thereof. |
| 7 | Et à leur côté réparèrent Mélatia Gabaonite, et Jadon Méronothite, de Gabaon et de Mitspa, vers le siège du Gouverneur de deçà le fleuve. | And next unto them repaired Melatiah the Gibeonite, and Jadon the Meronothite, the men of Gibeon, and of Mizpah, [that appertained] to the throne of the governor beyond the River. |
| 8 | Et à côté de ce siège répara Huziël, fils de Harhaja, d'entre les orfèvres; et à son côté répara Hanania fils de Harakkahim; et ainsi ils relevèrent Jérusalem jusqu'à la muraille large. | Next unto him repaired Uzziel the son of Harhaiah, goldsmiths. And next unto him repaired Hananiah one of the perfumers, and they fortified Jerusalem even unto the broad wall. |

| 10 | Et à leur côté répara Jédaja, fils de Harumaph, même à l'endroit de sa maison; et à son côté répara Hattus, fils de Hasabnéja. | And next unto them repaired Jedaiah the son of Harumaph, over against his house. And next unto him repaired Hattush the son of Hashabneiah. |
| 11 | Et Malkija, fils de Harim, et Hasub, fils de Pahath-Moab, en réparèrent autant, et même la tour des fours. | Malchijah the son of Harim, and Hasshub the son of Pahath-moab, repaired another portion, and the tower of the furnaces. |
| 12 | Et à leur côté Sallum, fils de Lobès, capitaine de l'autre demi-quartier de Jérusalem, répara, lui et ses filles. | And next unto him repaired Shallum the son of Hallohesh, the ruler of half the district of Jerusalem, he and his daughters. |
| 13 | Et Hanun et les habitants de Zanoah réparèrent la porte de la vallée, ils la rebâtirent, et mirent ses portes, ses serrures, et ses barres, et ils bâtirent mille coudées de muraille, jusqu'à la porte de la fiente, | The valley gate repaired Hanun, and the inhabitants of Zanoah; they built it, and set up the doors thereof, the bolts thereof, and the bars thereof, and a thousand cubits of the wall unto the dung gate. |
| 14 | Et Malkija, fils de Réchab, capitaine du quartier de Beth-Kérem, répara la porte de la fiente; il la rebâtit, et mit ses portes, ses serrures et ses barres. | And the dung gate repaired Malchijah the son of Rechab, the ruler of the district of Beth-haccherem; he built it, and set up the doors thereof, the bolts thereof, and the bars thereof. |
| 15 | Et Sallum, fils de Col-Hoze, capitaine du quartier de Mitspa, répara la porte de la fontaine; il la rebâtit, et la couvrit, et mit ses portes, ses serrures, et ses barres; et il répara aussi la muraille de l'étang de Sélah, tirant vers le jardin du Roi, et jusqu'aux degrés qui descendent de la Cité de David. | And the fountain gate repaired Shallun the son of Colhozeh, the ruler of the district of Mizpah; he built it, and covered it, and set up the doors thereof, the bolts thereof, and the bars thereof, and the wall of the pool of Shelah by the king`s garden, even unto the stairs that go down from the city of David. |
| 16 | Après lui répara Néhémie, fils d'Hazbuk, capitaine du demi-quartier de Beth-Tsur, jusqu'à l'endroit des sépulcres de David, et jusqu'à l'étang qui avait été refait, et jusqu'à la maison des forts. | After him repaired Nehemiah the son of Azbuk, the ruler of half the district of Beth-zur, unto the place over against the sepulchres of David, and unto the pool that was made, and unto the house of the mighty men. |
| 17 | Après lui réparèrent les Lévites, Néhum, fils de Bani; et à son côté répara Hasabja, capitaine du demi-quartier de Kéhila, pour ceux de son quartier. | After him repaired the Levites, Rehum the son of Bani. Next unto him repaired Hashabiah, the ruler of half the district of Keilah, for his district. |
| 18 | Après lui réparèrent leurs frères, savoir, Bavvaï, fils de Hénadad, capitaine de l'autre demi-quartier de Kéhila. | After him repaired their brethren, Bavvai the son of Henadad, the ruler of half the district of Keilah. |
| 19 | Et à son côté Héser, fils de Jésuah, capitaine de Mitspa, en répara autant, à l'endroit par où l'on monte à l'arsenal de l'encoignûre. | And next to him repaired Ezer the son of Jeshua, the ruler of Mizpah, another portion, over against the ascent to the armory at the turning [of the wall]. |
| 20 | Après lui Baruch, fils de Zaccaï, prit courage, et en répara autant, depuis l'encoignûre jusqu'à l'entrée de la maison d'Eliasib, grand Sacrificateur. | After him Baruch the son of Zabbai earnestly repaired another portion, from the turning [of the wall] unto the door of the house of Eliashib the high priest. |
| 21 | Après lui Mérémoth, fils d'Urija, fils de Kots, en répara autant, depuis l'entrée de la maison d'Eliasib, jusqu'au bout de la maison d'Eliasib. | After him repaired Meremoth the son of Uriah the son of Hakkoz another portion, from the door of the house of Eliashib even to the end of the house of Eliashib. |
| 22 | Et après lui réparèrent les Sacrificateurs, habitants de la campagne. | And after him repaired the priests, the men of the Plain. |
| 23 | Après eux, Benjamin et Hasub réparèrent à l'endroit de leur maison. Après lesquels, Hazaria, fils de Mahaséja, fils d'Hanania, répara auprès de sa maison. | After them repaired Benjamin and Hasshub over against their house. After them repaired Azariah the son of Maaseiah the son of Ananiah beside his own house. |

| 25 | Et Palal, fils d'Uzaï, depuis l'endroit de l'encoignûre, et de la tour, qui sort de la haute maison du Roi, qui est auprès du parvis de la prison. Après lui Pédaja, fils de Parhos. | Palal the son of Uzai [repaired] over against the turning [of the wall], and the tower that standeth out from the upper house of the king, which is by the court of the guard. After him Pedaiah the son of Parosh [repaired]. |
| 26 | Et les Néthiniens, qui demeuraient en Hophel, réparèrent vers l'Orient, jusqu'à l'endroit de la porte des eaux, et vers la tour qui sort en dehors. | (Now the Nethinim dwelt in Ophel, unto the place over against the water gate toward the east, and the tower that standeth out.) |
| 27 | Après eux, les Tékohites en réparèrent autant, depuis l'endroit de la grande tour qui sort en dehors, jusqu'à la muraille d'Hophel. | After him the Tekoites repaired another portion, over against the great tower that standeth out, and unto the wall of Ophel. |
| 28 | Et les Sacrificateurs réparèrent depuis le dessus de la porte des chevaux, chacun à l'endroit de sa maison. | Above the horse gate repaired the priests, every one over against his own house. |
| 29 | Après eux Tsadok, fils d'Immer, répara à l'endroit de sa maison. Et après lui répara Sémahia, fils de Sécania, garde de la porte Orientale. | After them repaired Zadok the son of Immer over against his own house. And after him repaired Shemaiah the son of Shecaniah, the keeper of the east gate. |
| 30 | Après lui Hanania, fils de Sélemia, et Hanun le sixième fils de Tsalaph, en réparèrent autant. | 32 | Et les orfèvres et les revendeurs réparèrent entre la montée du coin et la porte du bercail. | And between the ascent of the corner and the sheep gate repaired the goldsmiths and the merchants. |
