| 2 | Vous haïssez le bien et vous aimez le mal ; Vous leur arrachez la peau et la chair de dessus les os. | Who hate the good, and love the evil; who pluck off their skin from off them, and their flesh from off their bones; | Voi che odiate il bene e amate il male, che strappate loro la pelle di dosso e la carne dalle loro ossa. |
| 3 | Ils dévorent la chair de mon peuple, Lui arrachent la peau, Et lui brisent les os ; Ils le mettent en pièces comme ce qu'on cuit dans un pot, Comme de la viande dans une chaudière. | Who also eat the flesh of my people, and flay their skin from off them; and they break their bones, and chop them in pieces, as for the pot, and as flesh within the caldron. | Essi divorano la carne del mio popolo, gli strappano la pelle di dosso, gli rompono le ossa e lo tagliano a pezzi come se dovesse andare in pentola, come carne da mettere nella caldaia. |
| 4 | Alors ils crieront vers l'Éternel, Mais il ne leur répondra pas ; Il leur cachera sa face en ce temps-là, Parce qu'ils ont fait de mauvaises actions. | Then shall they cry unto the LORD, but he will not hear them: he will even hide his face from them at that time, as they have behaved themselves ill in their doings. | Allora grideranno all'Eterno, ma egli non risponderà loro; in quel tempo egli nasconderà loro la sua faccia, perché sono stati malvagi nelle loro azioni. |
| 5 | Ainsi parle l'Éternel sur les prophètes qui égarent mon peuple, Qui annoncent la paix si leurs dents ont quelque chose à mordre, Et qui publient la guerre si on ne leur met rien dans la bouche : | Thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that make my people err, that bite with their teeth, and cry, Peace; and he that putteth not into their mouths, they even prepare war against him. | Così dice l'Eterno riguardo ai profeti che fanno sviare il mio popolo, che gridano: "Pace" se hanno qualcosa da mordere fra i denti, ma dichiarano la guerra a chi non mette loro niente in bocca. |
| 6 | A cause de cela, vous aurez la nuit..., et plus de visions ! Vous aurez les ténèbres..., et plus d'oracles ! Le soleil se couchera sur ces prophètes, Le jour s'obscurcira sur eux. | Therefore night shall be unto you, that ye shall not have a vision; and it shall be dark unto you, that ye shall not divine; and the sun shall go down over the prophets, and the day shall be dark over them. | Perciò avrete notte senza visione, e avrete tenebre senza divinazione, il sole tramonterà su questi profeti e il giorno si oscurerà su di loro. |
| 7 | Les voyants seront confus, les devins rougiront, Tous se couvriront la barbe ; Car Dieu ne répondra pas. | Then shall the seers be ashamed, and the diviners confounded: yea, they shall all cover their lips; for there is no answer of God. | I veggenti saranno ricoperti di vergogna e gli indovini arrossiranno; si copriranno tutti quanti la barba, perché non ci sarà alcuna risposta da DIO. |
| 8 | Mais moi, je suis rempli de force, de l'esprit de l'Éternel, Je suis rempli de justice et de vigueur, Pour faire connaître à Jacob son crime, Et à Israël son péché. | But truly I am full of power by the spirit of the LORD, and of judgment, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin. | Io invece sono ripieno di forza dello Spirito dell'Eterno, di giustizia e potenza, per far conoscere a Giacobbe la sua trasgressione e a Israele il suo peccato. |
| 9 | Écoutez donc ceci, chefs de la maison de Jacob, Et princes de la maison d'Israël, Vous qui avez en horreur la justice, Et qui pervertissez tout ce qui est droit, | Hear this, I pray you, ye heads of the house of Jacob, and princes of the house of Israel, that abhor judgment, and pervert all equity. | Deh, ascoltate questo, o capi della casa di Giacobbe e governanti della casa d'Israele, che abborrite la giustizia e pervertite tutto ciò che è retto, |
| 10 | Vous qui bâtissez Sion avec le sang, Et Jérusalem avec l'iniquité ! | They build up Zion with blood, and Jerusalem with iniquity. | che edificate Sion con il sangue e Gerusalemme, con l'iniquità. |
| 11 | Ses chefs jugent pour des présents, Ses sacrificateurs enseignent pour un salaire, Et ses prophètes prédisent pour de l'argent ; Et ils osent s'appuyer sur l'Éternel, ils disent : L'Éternel n'est-il pas au milieu de nous ? Le malheur ne nous atteindra pas. | The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the LORD, and say, Is not the LORD among us? none evil can come upon us. | I suoi capi giudicano per un dono, i suoi sacerdoti insegnano per un salario, i suoi profeti compiono divinazioni per denaro; tuttavia si appoggiano all'Eterno e dicono: Non è forse l'Eterno in mezzo a noi? Non ci verrà addosso alcuna sventura. |
| 12 | C'est pourquoi, à cause de vous, Sion sera labourée comme un champ, Jérusalem deviendra un monceau de pierres, Et la montagne du temple une sommité couverte de bois. | Therefore shall Zion for your sake be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of the forest. | Perciò, per causa vostra, Sion sarà arata come un campo, Gerusalemme diventerà un mucchio di rovine e il monte del tempio un'altura boscosa. |
