| 2 | Et ils l'observaient, pour voir s'il le guérirait le jour du sabbat, afin de l'accuser. | And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse him. | Ed essi lo stavano ad osservare per vedere se lo avesse guarito in giorno di sabato, per poi accusarlo, |

| 4 | Puis il leur dit: Est-il permis de faire du bien dans les jours de sabbat, ou de faire du mal? de sauver une personne, ou de la laisser périr? Et ils se turent. | And he saith unto them, Is it lawful on the sabbath day to do good, or to do harm? to save a life, or to kill? But they held their peace. | Poi disse loro: E' lecito in giorno di sabato fare del bene o del male, salvare una vita o annientarla?. Ma essi tacevano. |
| 5 | Alors, les regardant avec indignation, et étant affligé de l'endurcissement de leur coeur, il dit à cet homme: Étends ta main. Et il l'étendit, et sa main devint saine comme l'autre. | And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved at the hardening of their heart, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he stretched it forth; and his hand was restored. | Allora egli, guardatili tutt'intorno con indignazione, rattristato per la durezza del loro cuore, disse a quell'uomo: Stendi la tua mano!. Et ceux des environs de Tyr et de Sidon, ayant entendu parler des grandes choses qu'il faisait, vinrent aussi vers lui en grand nombre. | and from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and beyond the Jordan, and about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, hearing what great things he did, came unto him. | ed anche da Gerusalemme, dall'Idumea e da oltre il Giordano; similmente una gran folla dai dintorni di Tiro e di Sidone, udendo le grandi cose che egli faceva, venne a lui. |
| 9 | Et il dit à ses disciples qu'il y eût une petite barque toute prête auprès de lui, à cause de la multitude, de peur qu'elle ne le pressât trop. | And he spake to his disciples, that a little boat should wait on him because of the crowd, lest they should throng him: | Allora egli disse ai suoi discepoli di tenergli sempre pronta una barchetta per non essere schiacciato dalla folla. |
| 10 | Car il en avait guéri plusieurs, de sorte que tous ceux qui avaient des maladies se jetaient sur lui pour le toucher. | for he had healed many; insomuch that as many as had plagues pressed upon him that they might touch him. | Poiché egli ne aveva guariti molti, tutti quelli che avevano malattie si accalcavano attorno a lui per toccarlo, |
| 11 | Et quand les esprits immondes le voyaient, ils se prosternaient devant lui et s'écriaient: Tu es le Fils de Dieu! | And the unclean spirits, whensoever they beheld him, fell down before him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Son of God. | E gli spiriti immondi, quando lo vedevano, si prostravano davanti a lui e gridavano, dicendo: Tu sei il Figlio di Dio!. |
| 12 | Mais il leur défendait, avec menace, de le faire connaître. | And he charged them much that they should not make him known. | Ma egli li sgridava severamente, perché non dicessero chi egli fosse. |
| 13 | Il monta ensuite sur la montagne, et appela ceux qu'il jugea à propos, et ils vinrent à lui. | And he goeth up into the mountain, and calleth unto him whom he himself would; and they went unto him. | Poi egli salì sul monte, chiamò presso di sé Quelli che volle; ed essi si avvicinarono a lui. |
| 14 | Et il en établit douze pour être avec lui, pour les envoyer prêcher, | And he appointed twelve, that they might be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach, | Quindi ne costituì dodici perché stessero con lui e potesse mandarli a predicare, |
| 15 | Et pour avoir la puissance de guérir les malades et de chasser les démons. | and to have authority to cast out demons: | e avessero il potere di guarire le infermità e di scacciare i demoni. |

| 17 | Puis Jacques fils de Zébédée, et Jean frère de Jacques, auxquels il donna le nom de Boanerges, c'est-à-dire, enfants du tonnerre; | and James the [son] of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and them he surnamed Boanerges, which is, Sons of thunder: | Giacomo figlio di Zebedeo e Giovanni fratello di Giacomo, ai quali diede il nome di Boanerges, che vuol dire: "Figli del tuono"; |

| 19 | Et Judas l'Iscariote, qui fut celui qui le trahit. | and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him. And he cometh into a house. | e Giuda Iscariota, quello che poi lo tradì. |
| 20 | Puis ils retournèrent à la maison; et une multitude s'y assembla encore, de sorte qu'ils ne pouvaient pas même prendre leur repas. | And the multitude cometh together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread. | Poi entrarono in una casa. E la folla si radunò di nuovo, tanto che non potevano neppure prendere cibo. |
| 21 | Ses parents l'ayant appris, sortirent pour le prendre; car on disait: Il est hors de sens. | And when his friends heard it, they went out to lay hold on him: for they said, He is beside himself. | E quando i suoi parenti udirono ciò, uscirono per prenderlo, perché dicevano: Egli è fuori di sé |
| 22 | Et les scribes qui étaient descendus de Jérusalem, disaient: Il est possédé de Béelzébul, et il chasse les démons par le prince des démons. | And the scribes that came down from Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebub, and, By the prince of the demons casteth he out the demons. | Ma gli scribi, che erano discesi da Gerusalemme, dicevano: Egli ha Beelzebub e scaccia i demoni con l'aiuto del principe dei demoni. |
| 23 | Mais Jésus, les ayant appelés, leur dit par des similitudes: Comment Satan peut-il chasser Satan? | And he called them unto him, and said unto them in parables, How can Satan cast out Satan? | Ma egli, chiamatili a sé, disse loro in parabole: Come può Satana scacciare Satana? |
| 24 | Car si un royaume est divisé contre lui-même, ce royaume-là ne saurait subsister; | And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. | E se un regno è diviso contro se stesso, quel regno non può durare. |
| 25 | Et si une maison est divisée contre elle-même, cette maison-là ne saurait subsister; | And if a house be divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand. | E se una casa è divisa in parti contrarie, quella casa non può durare. |
| 26 | De même, si Satan s'élève contre lui-même et est divisé, il ne peut subsister; mais il prend fin. | And if Satan hath rise up against himself, and is divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end. | Così, se Satana insorge contro se stesso ed è diviso, non può durare, ma è giunto alla fine. |
| 27 | Personne ne peut entrer dans la maison d'un homme fort et piller son bien, s'il n'a auparavant lié cet homme fort; et alors il pillera sa maison. | But no one can enter into the house of the strong [man], and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong [man]; and then he will spoil his house. | Nessuno può entrare in casa dell'uomo forte e rapirgli i suoi beni, se prima non ha legato l'uomo forte; solo allora potrà saccheggiare la sua casa. |
| 28 | Je vous dis en vérité, que toutes sortes de péchés seront pardonnés aux enfants des hommes, ainsi que les blasphèmes par lesquels ils auront blasphémé; | Verily I say unto you, All their sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and their blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme: | In verità vi dico che ai figli degli uomini sarà perdonato ogni peccato e qualunque bestemmia essi diranno; |
| 29 | Mais quiconque aura blasphémé contre le Saint-Esprit, n'en obtiendra jamais le pardon; mais il sera sujet à une condamnation éternelle. | but whosoever shall blaspheme against the Holy Spirit hath never forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin: | ma chiunque bestemmierà contro lo Spirito Santo, non ha perdono in eterno; ma è sottoposto a giudizio eterno. |
| 30 | Jésus parla ainsi, parce qu'ils disaient: Il est possédé d'un esprit immonde. | because they said, He hath an unclean spirit. | Asseriva questo perché dicevano: Egli ha uno spirito immondo. |
| 31 | Ses frères et sa mère arrivèrent donc, et se tenant dehors ils l'envoyèrent appeler; et la multitude était assise autour de lui. | And there come his mother and his brethren; and, standing without, they sent unto him, calling him. | Nel frattempo giunsero i suoi fratelli e sua madre e, fermatisi fuori, lo mandarono a chiamare. |
| 32 | Et on lui dit: Voilà, ta mère et tes frères sont là dehors, qui te demandent. | And a multitude was sitting about him; and they say unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren without seek for thee. | Or la folla sedeva intorno a lui; e gli dissero: Ecco, tua madre e i tuoi fratelli sono là fuori e ti cercano. |
| 33 | Mais il répondit: Qui est ma mère, ou qui sont mes frères? | And he answereth them, and saith, Who is my mother and my brethren? | Ma egli rispose loro, dicendo: Chi è mia madre, o i miei fratelli?. |
| 34 | Et jetant les yeux sur ceux qui étaient autour de lui, il dit: Voici ma mère et mes frères. | And looking round on them that sat round about him, he saith, Behold, my mother and my brethren! | Poi guardando in giro su coloro che gli sedevano intorno, disse: Ecco mia madre e i miei fratelli. |
| 35 | Car quiconque fera la volonté de Dieu, celui-là est mon frère, et ma soeur et ma mère. | For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother. | Poiché chiunque fa la volontà di Dio, questi è mio fratello, mia sorella e madre. |
