| 1 | Lorsqu'ils approchèrent de Jérusalem, et qu'ils furent près de Bethphagé et de Béthanie, vers la montagne des oliviers, Jésus envoya deux de ses disciples, | And when they draw nigh unto Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sendeth two of his disciples, | Ora quando furono giunti vicino a Gerusalemme, verso Betfage e Betania, presso il monte degli Ulivi, Gesù mandò due dei suoi discepoli, |
| 2 | en leur disant : Allez au village qui est devant vous ; dès que vous y serez entrés, vous trouverez un ânon attaché, sur lequel aucun homme ne s'est encore assis ; détachez-le, et amenez-le. | and saith unto them, Go your way into the village that is over against you: and straightway as ye enter into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon no man ever yet sat; loose him, and bring him. | dicendo loro: Andate nel villaggio che vi sta di fronte e, appena entrati in esso, troverete un puledro d'asino legato, sul quale nessuno è ancora salito; scioglietelo e conducetelo da me. |
| 3 | Si quelqu'un vous dit : Pourquoi faites-vous cela ? répondez : Le Seigneur en a besoin. Et à l'instant il le laissera venir ici. | And if any one say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye, The Lord hath need of him; and straightway he will send him back hither. | E se qualcuno vi dice: "Perché fate questo?". Rispondete: "Il Signore ne ha bisogno. Lo rimanderà qui subito". |
| 4 | Les disciples, étant allés, trouvèrent l'ânon attaché dehors près d'une porte, au contour du chemin, et ils le détachèrent. | And they went away, and found a colt tied at the door without in the open street; and they loose him. | Essi dunque andarono e trovarono il puledro legato vicino ad una porta, fuori sulla strada, e lo sciolsero. |
| 5 | Quelques-uns de ceux qui étaient là leur dirent : Que faites-vous ? pourquoi détachez-vous cet ânon ? | And certain of them that stood there said unto them, What do ye, loosing the colt? | Alcuni dei presenti dissero loro: Cosa fate? Perché sciogliete il puledro?. |
| 6 | Ils répondirent comme Jésus l'avait dit. Et on les laissa aller. | And they said unto them even as Jesus had said: and they let them go. | Ed essi risposero loro come Gesù aveva loro indicato, e quelli li lasciarono andare. |
| 7 | Ils amenèrent à Jésus l'ânon, sur lequel ils jetèrent leurs vêtements, et Jésus s'assit dessus. | And they bring the colt unto Jesus, and cast on him their garments; and he sat upon him. | Allora essi condussero il puledro a Gesù, vi posero sopra i loro mantelli, ed egli vi si sedette sopra. |
| 8 | Beaucoup de gens étendirent leurs vêtements sur le chemin, et d'autres des branches qu'ils coupèrent dans les champs. | And many spread their garments upon the way; and others branches, which they had cut from the fields. | E molti stendevano i loro vestiti sulla strada, e altri tagliavano rami dagli alberi e li spargevano sulla strada. |
| 9 | Ceux qui précédaient et ceux qui suivaient Jésus criaient : Hosanna ! Béni soit celui qui vient au nom du Seigneur ! | And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, Hosanna; Blessed [is] he that cometh in the name of the Lord: | E tanto quelli che precedevano come quelli che seguivano, gridando, dicevano: Osanna! Benedetto colui che viene nel nome del Signore! |
| 10 | Béni soit le règne qui vient, le règne de David, notre père ! Hosanna dans les lieux très hauts ! | Blessed [is] the kingdom that cometh, [the kingdom] of our father David: Hosanna in the highest. | Benedetto il regno di Davide nostro padre, che viene nel nome del Signore. Osanna nei luoghi altissimi!. |
| 11 | Jésus entra à Jérusalem, dans le temple. Quand il eut tout considéré, comme il était déjà tard, il s'en alla à Béthanie avec les douze. | And he entered into Jerusalem, into the temple; and when he had looked round about upon all things, it being now eventide, he went out unto Bethany with the twelve. | Così Gesù entrò in Gerusalemme e nel tempio; e, dopo aver osservato bene ogni cosa, essendo ormai tardi, uscì con i dodici diretto a Betania. |
| 12 | Le lendemain, après qu'ils furent sortis de Béthanie, Jésus eut faim. | And on the morrow, when they were come out from Bethany, he hungered. | Il giorno seguente, usciti da Betania, egli ebbe fame. |
| 13 | Apercevant de loin un figuier qui avait des feuilles, il alla voir s'il y trouverait quelque chose ; et, s'en étant approché, il ne trouva que des feuilles, car ce n'était pas la saison des figues. | And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find anything thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for it was not the season of figs. | E, vedendo da lontano un fico che aveva delle foglie, andò a vedere se vi trovasse qualcosa; ma, avvicinatosi ad esso, non vi trovò altro che foglie, perché non era il tempo dei fichi. |
| 14 | Prenant alors la parole, il lui dit : Que jamais personne ne mange de ton fruit ! Et ses disciples l'entendirent. | And he answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit from thee henceforward for ever. And his disciples heard it. | Allora Gesù, rivolgendosi al fico, disse: Nessuno mangi mai più frutto da te in eterno. E i suoi discepoli l'udirono. |
| 15 | Ils arrivèrent à Jérusalem, et Jésus entra dans le temple. Il se mit à chasser ceux qui vendaient et qui achetaient dans le temple ; il renversa les tables des changeurs, et les sièges des vendeurs de pigeons ; | And they come to Jerusalem: and he entered into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and them that bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the money-changers, and the seats of them that sold the doves; | Così giunsero a Gerusalemme. E Gesù, entrato nel tempio, cominciò a scacciare quelli che nel tempio vendevano e compravano e rovesciò le tavole dei cambiamonete e le sedie dei venditori di colombi. |
| 16 | et il ne laissait personne transporter aucun objet à travers le temple. | and he would not suffer that any man should carry a vessel through the temple. | E non permetteva ad alcuno di portare oggetti attraverso il tempio. |
| 17 | Et il enseignait et disait : N'est-il pas écrit : Ma maison sera appelée une maison de prière pour toutes les nations ? Mais vous, vous en avez fait une caverne de voleurs. | And he taught, and said unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations? but ye have made it a den of robbers. | E insegnava, dicendo loro: Non è scritto: "La mia casa sarà chiamata casa di preghiera per tutte le genti?" Voi, invece, ne avete fatto un covo di ladroni!. |
| 18 | Les principaux sacrificateurs et les scribes, l'ayant entendu, cherchèrent les moyens de le faire périr ; car ils le craignaient, parce que toute la foule était frappée de sa doctrine. | And the chief priests and the scribes heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, for all the multitude was astonished at his teaching. | Ora gli scribi e i capi dei sacerdoti, avendo udito queste cose, cercavano il modo di farlo morire. Avevano infatti paura di lui, perché tutta la folla era rapita in ammirazione del suo insegnamento. |
| 19 | Quand le soir fut venu, Jésus sortit de la ville. | And every evening he went forth out of the city. | E, quando fu sera, Gesù uscì fuori dalla città. |
| 20 | Le matin, en passant, les disciples virent le figuier séché jusqu'aux racines. | And as they passed by in the morning, they saw the fig tree withered away from the roots. | Il mattino seguente, ripassando vicino al fico, lo videro seccato fin dalle radici. |
| 21 | Pierre, se rappelant ce qui s'était passé, dit à Jésus : Rabbi, regarde, le figuier que tu as maudit a séché. | And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Rabbi, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away. | E Pietro, ricordandosi, gli disse: Maestro, ecco, il fico che tu maledicesti è seccato. |
| 22 | Jésus prit la parole, et leur dit : Ayez foi en Dieu. | And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. | Allora Gesù, rispondendo, disse loro: Abbiate la fede di Dio! |
| 23 | Je vous le dis en vérité, si quelqu'un dit à cette montagne : Ote-toi de là et jette-toi dans la mer, et s'il ne doute point en son coeur, mais croit que ce qu'il dit arrive, il le verra s'accomplir. | Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou taken up and cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that what he saith cometh to pass; he shall have it. | Perché in verità vi dico che se alcuno dirà a questo monte: "Spostati e gettati nel mare" e non dubiterà in cuor suo ma crederà che quanto dice avverrà qualunque cosa dirà, gli sarà concesso. |
| 24 | C'est pourquoi je vous dis : Tout ce que vous demanderez en priant, croyez que vous l'avez reçu, et vous le verrez s'accomplir. | Therefore I say unto you, All things whatsoever ye pray and ask for, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. | Perciò vi dico: Tutte le cose che domandate pregando, credete di riceverle e le otterrete. |
| 25 | Et, lorsque vous êtes debout faisant votre prière, si vous avez quelque chose contre quelqu'un, pardonnez, afin que votre Père qui est dans les cieux vous pardonne aussi vos offenses. | And whensoever ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have aught against any one; that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. | E quando vi mettete a pregare, se avete qualcosa contro qualcuno, perdonate affinché anche il Padre vostro, che è nei cieli, perdoni i vostri peccati. |
| 26 | Mais si vous ne pardonnez pas, votre Père qui est dans les cieux ne vous pardonnera pas non plus vos offenses. | [But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in heaven forgive your trespasses.] | Ma se voi non perdonate, neanche il Padre vostro, che è nei cieli, perdonerà i vostri peccati. |
| 27 | Ils se rendirent de nouveau à Jérusalem, et, pendant que Jésus se promenait dans le temple, les principaux sacrificateurs, les scribes et les anciens, vinrent à lui, | And they come again to Jerusalem: and as he was walking in the temple, there come to him the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders; | Poi vennero di nuovo a Gerusalemme; e mentre egli passeggiava per il tempio, i capi dei sacerdoti, gli scribi e gli anziani, si accostarono a lui, |
| 28 | et lui dirent : Par quelle autorité fais-tu ces choses, et qui t'a donné l'autorité de les faire ? | and they said unto him, By what authority doest thou these things? or who gave thee this authority to do these things? | e gli dissero: Con quale autorità fai queste cose? E chi ti ha dato codesta autorità per fare queste cose?. |
| 29 | Jésus leur répondit : Je vous adresserai aussi une question ; répondez-moi, et je vous dirai par quelle autorité je fais ces choses. | And Jesus said unto them, I will ask of you one question, and answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things. | E Gesù, rispondendo, disse loro: Anch'io vi domanderò una cosa, rispondetemi dunque, ed io vi dirò con quale autorità faccio queste cose. |
| 30 | Le baptême de Jean venait-il du ciel, ou des hommes ? Répondez-moi. | The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or from men? answer me. | Il battesimo di Giovanni veniva dal cielo o dagli uomini? Rispondetemi. |
| 31 | Mais ils raisonnèrent ainsi entre eux : Si nous répondons : Du ciel, il dira : Pourquoi donc n'avez-vous pas cru en lui ? | And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; He will say, Why then did ye not believe him? | Ed essi ragionavano tra di loro, dicendo: Se diciamo dal cielo, egli dirà: "Perché dunque non gli credeste?" |
| 32 | Et si nous répondons : Des hommes... Ils craignaient le peuple, car tous tenaient réellement Jean pour un prophète. | But should we say, From men--they feared the people: for all verily held John to be a prophet. | Ma se diciamo dagli uomini, noi abbiamo paura del popolo, poiché tutti ritenevano che Giovanni fosse veramente un profeta. |
| 33 | Alors ils répondirent à Jésus : Nous ne savons. Et Jésus leur dit : Moi non plus, je ne vous dirai pas par quelle autorité je fais ces choses. | And they answered Jesus and say, We know not. And Jesus saith unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things. | Perciò, rispondendo, dissero a Gesù: Non lo sappiamo. E Gesù, rispondendo, disse loro: Neppure io vi dico con quale autorità faccio queste cose. |
