| 6 | And the LORD God prepared a gourd, and made it to come up over Jonah, that it might be a shadow over his head, to deliver him from his grief. So Jonah was exceeding glad of the gourd. | Et l'Éternel fit croître un ricin, qui s'éleva au-dessus de Jonas, pour donner de l'ombre sur sa tête et le délivrer de son chagrin. Et Jonas éprouva une grande joie à cause de ce ricin. | And Jehovah God prepared a gourd, and made it to come up over Jonah, that it might be a shade over his head, to deliver him from his evil case. | 11 | And should not I spare Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more then sixscore thousand persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand; and also much cattle? | Et moi je n'aurais pas pitié de Ninive, la grande ville, dans laquelle il y a plus de cent vingt mille personnes qui ne savent pas distinguer leur droite de leur gauche, et du bétail en grand nombre! | and should not I have regard for Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more than sixscore thousand persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand; and also much cattle? |
