| 3 | Who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not. | "Qui obscurcit mes plans sans science? | 8 | Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you: for him will I accept: lest I deal with you after your folly, in that ye have not spoken of me the thing which is right, like my servant Job. | Maintenant, prenez sept taureaux et sept béliers, et allez vers mon serviteur Job, offrez un holocauste pour vous, et Job, mon serviteur, priera pour vous; et par égard pour lui, je ne vous traiterai pas selon votre folie, car vous n'avez pas parlé avec droiture devant moi, comme mon serviteur Job. | Ora dunque prendete con voi sette tori e sette montoni, andate dal mio servo Giobbe e offrite un olocausto per voi stessi. | 9 | So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went, and did according as the LORD commanded them: the LORD also accepted Job. | Et Éliphaz, de Théman, Bildad, de Shuach, et Tsophar, de Naama, allèrent et firent comme leur avait dit l'Éternel, et l'Éternel eut égard à Job. | Elifaz di Teman e Bildad di Shuah e Tsofar di Naamath andarono e fecero come l'Eterno aveva loro ordinato; e l'Eterno ebbe riguardo a Giobbe. |
| 10 | And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before. | Et l'Éternel rétablit Job dans ses biens, quand il eut prié pour ses amis; et il lui rendit au double tout ce qu'il avait eu. | Quando Giobbe ebbe pregato per i suoi amici, l'Eterno lo ristabilì nel precedente stato; così l'Eterno rese a Giobbe il doppio di tutto ciò che aveva posseduto. |
| 11 | Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the LORD had brought upon him: every man also gave him a piece of money, and every one an earring of gold. | Tous ses frères, et toutes ses soeurs, tous ceux qui l'avaient connu auparavant vinrent vers lui, et mangèrent avec lui dans sa maison. Ils lui firent leurs condoléances, et le consolèrent au sujet de tout le mal que l'Éternel avait fait venir sur lui, et chacun lui donna une késita et un anneau d'or. | Tutti i suoi fratelli, tutte le sue sorelle e tutti i suoi conoscenti di prima vennero a trovarlo, mangiarono con lui in casa sua; essi lo confortarono e lo consolarono di tutte le avversità che l'Eterno aveva mandato su di lui; quindi ognuno di essi gli diede un pezzo d'argento e un anello d'oro. |
| 12 | So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses. | Ainsi l'Éternel bénit le dernier état de Job plus que le premier; il eut quatorze mille brebis, six mille chameaux, et mille couples de boeufs, et mille ânesses. | Ora l'Eterno benedisse gli ultimi anni di Giobbe più dei primi, perché egli ebbe quattordicimila pecore, seimila cammelli, mille paia di buoi e mille asine. |
| 13 | He had also seven sons and three daughters. | Il eut sept fils et trois filles. | Ebbe pure sette figli e tre figlie; |
| 14 | And he called the name of the first, Jemima; and the name of the second, Kezia; and the name of the third, Kerenhappuch. | Il donna à la première le nom de Jémima (colombe), à la seconde celui de Ketsia (parfum), à la troisième celui de Kéren-Happuc (flacon de fard). | e chiamò la prima Jemimah, la seconda Ketsiah e la terza Keren-Happuk. |
| 15 | And in all the land were no women found so fair as the daughters of Job: and their father gave them inheritance among their brethren. | Et il ne se trouvait pas de femmes aussi belles que les filles de Job dans tout le pays; et leur père leur donna un héritage avec leurs frères. | In tutto il paese non c'erano donne così belle come le figlie di Giobbe; e il padre assegnò loro una eredità tra i loro fratelli. |
| 16 | After this lived Job an hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons' sons, even four generations. | Job vécut, après ces choses, cent quarante ans, et vit ses fils et les fils de ses fils jusqu'à la quatrième génération. | Dopo questo Giobbe visse centoquarant'anni e vide i suoi figli e i figli dei suoi figli per quattro generazioni. |
