| 5 | Build ye houses, and dwell in them; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them; | Bâtissez des maisons, et y demeurez; plantez des jardins, et en mangez les fruits. | Costruite case e abitatele, piantate giardini e mangiate i loro frutti. |

| 7 | And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the LORD for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace. | Et cherchez la paix de la ville dans laquelle je vous ai fait transporter, et priez l'Eternel pour elle; parce qu'en sa paix vous aurez la paix. | Cercate il bene della città dove vi ho fatti condurre in cattività e pregate l'Eterno per essa, perché dal suo benessere dipende il vostro benessere. |
| 8 | For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets and your diviners, that be in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which ye cause to be dreamed. | Car ainsi a dit l'Eternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël: que vos prophètes qui sont parmi vous, et vos devins, ne vous séduisent point, et ne croyez point à vos songes que vous songez. | Così dice infatti l'Eterno degli eserciti, il DIO d'Israele: Non vi traggano in inganno i vostri profeti e i vostri indovini che sono in mezzo a voi, e non date retta ai sogni che fate. |
| 9 | For they prophesy falsely unto you in my name: I have not sent them, saith the LORD. | Parce qu'ils vous prophétisent faussement en mon Nom; je ne les ai point envoyés, dit l'Eternel. | Poiché vi profetizzano falsamente nel mio nome; io non li ho mandati, dice l'Eterno. |
| 10 | For thus saith the LORD, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place. | Car ainsi a dit l'Eternel: lorsque les soixante-dix ans seront accomplis à Babylone, je vous visiterai, et je mettrai en exécution ma bonne parole sur vous, pour vous faire retourner en ce lieu-ci. | Così dice l'Eterno: Quando saranno compiuti settant'anni per Babilonia, io vi visiterò e manderò ad effetto per voi la mia buona parola, facendovi ritornare in questo luogo. |
| 11 | For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. | Car je sais que les pensées que j'ai sur vous, dit l'Eternel, sont des pensées de paix, et non pas d'adversité, pour vous donner une fin telle que vous attendez. | Poiché io conosco i pensieri che ho per voi, dice l'Eterno, pensieri di pace e non di male, per darvi un futuro e una speranza. |
| 12 | Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. | Alors vous m'invoquerez pour vous en retourner; et vous me prierez, et je vous exaucerai. | Mi invocherete e verrete a pregarmi, e io vi esaudirò. |
| 13 | And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. | Vous me chercherez, et vous me trouverez, après que vous m'aurez recherché de tout votre coeur. | Mi cercherete e mi troverete, perché mi cercherete con tutto il vostro cuore. |
| 14 | And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive. | Car je me ferai trouver à vous, dit l'Eternel, je ramènerai vos captifs, et je vous rassemblerai d'entre toutes les nations, et de tous les lieux où je vous aurai dispersés, dit l'Eternel, et je vous ferai retourner au lieu dont je vous aurai transportés. | Io mi farò trovare da voi, dice l'Eterno, e vi farò tornare dalla vostra cattività; vi raccoglierò da tutte le nazioni e da tutti i luoghi dove vi ho dispersi, dice l'Eterno; e vi ricondurrò nel luogo da cui vi ho fatto condurre in cattività. |

| 16 | Know that thus saith the LORD of the king that sitteth upon the throne of David, and of all the people that dwelleth in this city, and of your brethren that are not gone forth with you into captivity; | C'est pourquoi ainsi a dit l'Eternel, touchant le Roi qui est assis sur le trône de David, et touchant tout le peuple qui habite dans cette ville, c'est-à-dire, touchant vos frères qui ne sont point allés avec vous en captivité; | così dice l'Eterno riguardo al re che siede sul trono di Davide, riguardo a tutto il popolo che abita in questa città, ai vostri fratelli che non sono andati con voi in cattività; |
| 17 | Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will send upon them the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, and will make them like vile figs, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil. | Ainsi a dit l'Eternel des armées: voici, je m'en vais envoyer sur eux l'épée, la famine, et la mortalité, et je les ferai devenir comme des figues qui sont étrangement mauvaises, et qu'on ne peut manger, tant elles sont mauvaises. | sì, così dice l'Eterno degli eserciti: Ecco, io manderò contro di loro la spada, la fame e la peste, e li renderò come fichi nauseanti che non si possono mangiare, tanto sono cattivi. |
| 18 | And I will persecute them with the sword, with the famine, and with the pestilence, and will deliver them to be removed to all the kingdoms of the earth, to be a curse, and an astonishment, and an hissing, and a reproach, among all the nations whither I have driven them: | Et je les poursuivrai avec l'épée, par la famine, et par la mortalité; et je les abandonnerai à être agités par tous les Royaumes de la terre, et pour être en exécration, en étonnement, en raillerie, et en opprobre à toutes les nations parmi lesquelles je les aurai dispersés. | Li inseguirò con la spada, con la fame e con la peste; li farò essere maltrattati in tutti i regni della terra ed essere una maledizione, un oggetto di stupore, uno scherno e un obbrobrio in mezzo a tutte le nazioni dove li ho dispersi, |
| 19 | Because they have not hearkened to my words, saith the LORD, which I sent unto them by my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them; but ye would not hear, saith the LORD. | Parce qu'ils n'ont point écouté mes paroles, dit l'Eternel, qui leur ai envoyé mes serviteurs Prophètes, en me levant dès le matin, et les envoyant; et vous n'avez point écouté, dit l'Eternel. | perché non hanno ascoltato le mie parole, dice l'Eterno, che io ho mandato loro per mezzo dei miei servi, i profeti, con urgenza ed insistenza; ma voi non avete dato ascolto, dice l'Eterno. |
| 20 | Hear ye therefore the word of the LORD, all ye of the captivity, whom I have sent from Jerusalem to Babylon: | Vous tous donc qui avez été transportés, et que j'ai renvoyés de Jérusalem à Babylone, écoutez la parole de l'Eternel. | Ascoltate dunque la parola dell'Eterno, o voi tutti, che io ho mandato in cattività da Gerusalemme a Babilonia! |
| 21 | Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, of Ahab the son of Kolaiah, and of Zedekiah the son of Maaseiah, which prophesy a lie unto you in my name; Behold, I will deliver them into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall slay them before your eyes; | Ainsi a dit l'Eternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël, touchant Achab fils de Kolaja, et touchant Sédécias fils de Mahaséja, qui vous prophétisent faussement en mon Nom: voici, je m'en vais les livrer en la main de Nébucadnetsar Roi de Babylone, et il les frappera devant vos yeux. | Così dice l'Eterno degli eserciti, il DIO d'Israele, riguardo ad Achab, figlio di Kolaiah, e riguardo a Sedekia, figlio di Maaseiah, che vi profetizzano menzogna nel mio nome: Ecco, io li darò in mano di Nebukadnetsar, re di Babilonia, ed egli li ucciderà sotto i vostri occhi. |
| 22 | And of them shall be taken up a curse by all the captivity of Judah which are in Babylon, saying, The LORD make thee like Zedekiah and like Ahab, whom the king of Babylon roasted in the fire; | Et on prendra d'eux un formulaire de malédiction parmi tous ceux qui ont été transportés de Juda, qui sont à Babylone, en disant: l'Eternel te mette en tel état qu'il a mis Sédécias et Achab, lesquels le Roi de Babylone a grillés au feu. | Da essi si trarrà una formula di maledizione che sarà usata da tutti quelli di Giuda che sono in cattività in Babilonia, e si dirà: "L'Eterno ti tratti come Sedekia e come Achab, che il re di Babilonia ha fatto arrostire nel fuoco!" |
| 23 | Because they have committed villany in Israel, and have committed adultery with their neighbours' wives, and have spoken lying words in my name, which I have not commanded them; even I know, and am a witness, saith the LORD. | Parce qu'ils ont commis des impuretés en Israël, et qu'ils ont commis adultère avec les femmes de leurs prochains, et qu'ils ont dit en mon Nom des paroles fausses, que je ne leur avais pas commandées, et je le sais, et j'en suis témoin, dit l'Eternel. | Poiché essi hanno fatto cose ignominiose in Israele, hanno commesso adulterio con le mogli del loro prossimo, e hanno pronunciato in mio nome parole di menzogna, che non avevo loro comandato. Io stesso lo so e ne sono testimone, dice l'Eterno. |
| 24 | Thus shalt thou also speak to Shemaiah the Nehelamite, saying, | Parle aussi à Sémahia Néhélamite, en disant: | Parlerai pure a Scemaiah il Nehelamita, dicendo: |
| 25 | Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, Because thou hast sent letters in thy name unto all the people that are at Jerusalem, and to Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest, and to all the priests, saying, | Ainsi a dit l'Eternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël: parce que tu as envoyé en ton Nom des Lettres à tout le peuple qui est à Jérusalem, et à Sophonie fils de Mahaséja Sacrificateur, et à tous les Sacrificateurs, en disant: | Così dice l'Eterno degli eserciti, il DIO d'Israele: Tu hai mandato in tuo nome lettere a tutto il popolo che è in Gerusalemme, al sacerdote Sofonia, figlio di Maaseiah, e a tutti i sacerdoti, dicendo: |
| 26 | The LORD hath made thee priest in the stead of Jehoiada the priest, that ye should be officers in the house of the LORD, for every man that is mad, and maketh himself a prophet, that thou shouldest put him in prison, and in the stocks. | L'Eternel t'a établi pour Sacrificateur en la place de Jéhojadah le Sacrificateur, afin que vous ayez la charge de la maison de l'Eternel sur tout homme agité par l'esprit, et faisant du Prophète, pour les mettre en prison et aux fers: | "L'Eterno ti ha costituito sacerdote al posto del sacerdote Jehoiada, perché vi siano sovrintendenti nella casa dell'Eterno per sorvegliare ogni uomo pazzo che fa il profeta, perché tu lo metta in prigione e in catene". |
| 27 | Now therefore why hast thou not reproved Jeremiah of Anathoth, which maketh himself a prophet to you? | Et maintenant, pourquoi n'as-tu pas réprimé Jérémie de Hanathot, qui vous prophétise? | E ora perché non hai rimproverato Geremia di Anathoth che fa il profeta tra di voi? |
| 28 | For therefore he sent unto us in Babylon, saying, This captivity is long: build ye houses, and dwell in them; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them. | Car à cause de cela il nous a envoyé dire à Babylone: la captivité sera longue: bâtissez des maisons, et y demeurez; plantez des jardins, et mangez-en les fruits. | Infatti egli ci ha mandato a dire in Babilonia: "La cattività sarà lunga; costruite case e abitatele, piantate giardini e mangiate i loro frutti". |

| 31 | Send to all them of the captivity, saying, Thus saith the LORD concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite; Because that Shemaiah hath prophesied unto you, and I sent him not, and he caused you to trust in a lie: | Mande à tous ceux qui ont été transportés, et leur dis: ainsi a dit l'Eternel touchant Sémahia Néhélamite: parce que Sémahia vous a prophétisé, quoique je ne l'aie point envoyé, et vous a fait confier au mensonge; | Manda a dire a tutti quelli che sono in cattività: Così parla l'Eterno riguardo a Scemaiah il Nehelamita: Poiché Scemaiah vi ha profetizzato, anche se io non l'ho mandato, e vi ha fatto confidare nella menzogna, |
| 32 | Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will punish Shemaiah the Nehelamite, and his seed: he shall not have a man to dwell among this people; neither shall he behold the good that I will do for my people, saith the LORD; because he hath taught rebellion against the LORD. | A cause de cela l'Eternel a dit ainsi: voici, je m'en vais punir Sémahia Néhélamite et sa postérité, et il n'y aura personne de sa race qui habite parmi ce peuple, et il ne verra point le bien que je m'en vais faire à mon peuple, dit l'Eternel; parce qu'il a parlé de révolte contre l'Eternel. | così dice l'Eterno: Ecco, io punirò Scemaiah il Nehelamita e la sua discendenza; non avrà nessuno dei suoi discendenti che abiterà in mezzo a questo popolo, e non vedrà il bene che io farò al mio popolo dice l'Eterno, perché ha parlato di ribellione, contro l'Eterno. |
