| 1 | Au commencement du règne de Jojakim, fils de Josias, roi de Juda, cette parole fut prononcée de la part de l'Éternel, en ces mots : | In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, came this word from Jehovah, saying, | All'inizio del regno di Jehoiakim, figlio di Giosia, re di Giuda, dall'Eterno fu rivolta questa parola, dicendo: |
| 2 | Ainsi parle l'Éternel : Tiens-toi dans le parvis de la maison de l'Éternel, et dis à ceux qui de toutes les villes de Juda viennent se prosterner dans la maison de l'Éternel toutes les paroles que je t'ordonne de leur dire ; n'en retranche pas un mot. | Thus saith Jehovah: Stand in the court of Jehovah`s house, and speak unto all the cities of Judah, which come to worship in Jehovah`s house, all the words that I command thee to speak unto them; diminish not a word. | Così dice l'Eterno: Presentati nel cortile della casa dell'Eterno e di' a tutte le città di Giuda che vengono ad adorare nella casa dell'Eterno, tutte le parole che io ti comando di dir loro; non tralasciare nemmeno una parola. |
| 3 | Peut-être écouteront-ils, et reviendront-ils chacun de leur mauvaise voie ; alors je me repentirai du mal que j'avais pensé leur faire à cause de la méchanceté de leurs actions. | It may be they will hearken, and turn every man from his evil way; that I may repent me of the evil which I purpose to do unto them because of the evil of their doings. | Forse ascolteranno e si convertiranno ciascuno dalla sua via malvagia e io mi pentirò del male che penso di far venire su di loro per la malvagità delle loro azioni. |

| 6 | alors je traiterai cette maison comme Silo, et je ferai de cette ville un objet de malédiction pour toutes les nations de la terre. | then will I make this house like Shiloh, and will make this city a curse to all the nations of the earth. | io renderò questo tempio come Sciloh, e renderò questa città una maledizione per tutte le nazioni della terra. |
| 7 | Les sacrificateurs, les prophètes, et tout le peuple, entendirent Jérémie prononcer ces paroles dans la maison de l'Éternel. | And the priests and the prophets and all the people heard Jeremiah speaking these words in the house of Jehovah. | Così i sacerdoti, i profeti e tutto il popolo udirono Geremia che pronunciava queste parole nella casa dell'Eterno. |
| 8 | Et comme Jérémie achevait de dire tout ce que l'Éternel lui avait ordonné de dire à tout le peuple, les sacrificateurs, les prophètes, et tout le peuple, se saisirent de lui, en disant : Tu mourras ! | And it came to pass, when Jeremiah had made an end of speaking all that Jehovah had commanded him to speak unto all the people, that the priests and the prophets and all the people laid hold on him, saying, Thou shalt surely die. | E avvenne che, come Geremia ebbe finito di pronunciare tutto ciò che l'Eterno gli aveva comandato di dire a tutto il popolo, i sacerdoti, i profeti e tutto il popolo lo presero, dicendo: Tu devi morire! |
| 9 | Pourquoi prophétises-tu au nom de l'Éternel, en disant : Cette maison sera comme Silo, et cette ville sera dévastée, privée d'habitants ? Tout le peuple s'attroupa autour de Jérémie dans la maison de l'Éternel. | Why hast thou prophesied in the name of Jehovah, saying, This house shall be like Shiloh, and this city shall be desolate, without inhabitant? And all the people were gathered unto Jeremiah in the house of Jehovah. | Perché hai profetizzato nel nome dell'Eterno dicendo: "Questo tempio sarà come Sciloh e questa città sarà devastata e senza abitanti". Tutto il popolo si radunò contro Geremia nella casa dell'Eterno. |
| 10 | Lorsque les chefs de Juda eurent appris ces choses, ils montèrent de la maison du roi à la maison de l'Éternel, et s'assirent à l'entrée de la porte neuve de la maison de l'Éternel. | And when the princes of Judah heard these things, they came up from the king`s house unto the house of Jehovah; and they sat in the entry of the new gate of Jehovah`s [house]. | Quando i principi di Giuda udirono queste cose, salirono dalla casa del re alla casa dell'Eterno e si sedettero all'ingresso della porta nuova della casa dell'Eterno. |
| 11 | Alors les sacrificateurs et les prophètes parlèrent ainsi aux chefs et à tout le peuple : Cet homme mérite la mort ; car il a prophétisé contre cette ville, comme vous l'avez entendu de vos oreilles. | Then spake the priests and the prophets unto the princes and to all the people, saying, This man is worthy of death; for he hath prophesied against this city, as ye have heard with your ears. | Quindi i sacerdoti e i profeti parlarono ai principi e a tutto il popolo, dicendo: Quest'uomo merita la morte, perché ha profetizzato contro questa città come avete udito con i vostri stessi orecchi. |
| 12 | Jérémie dit à tous les chefs et à tout le peuple : L'Éternel m'a envoyé pour prophétiser contre cette maison et contre cette ville, toutes les choses que vous avez entendues. | Then spake Jeremiah unto all the princes and to all the people, saying, Jehovah sent me to prophesy against this house and against this city all the words that ye have heard. | Allora Geremia parlò a tutti i principi e a tutto il popolo, dicendo: L'Eterno mi ha mandato a profetizzare contro questa casa e contro questa città tutte le cose che avete udito. |
| 13 | Maintenant réformez vos voies et vos oeuvres, écoutez la voix de l'Éternel, votre Dieu, et l'Éternel se repentira du mal qu'il a prononcé contre vous. | Now therefore amend your ways and your doings, and obey the voice of Jehovah your God; and Jehovah will repent him of the evil that he hath pronounced against you. | Perciò ora emendate le vostre vie e le vostre azioni e ascoltate la voce dell'Eterno, il vostro DIO, e l'Eterno si pentirà del male che ha pronunciato contro di voi. |
| 14 | Pour moi, me voici entre vos mains ; traitez-moi comme il vous semblera bon et juste. | But as for me, behold, I am in your hand: do with me as is good and right in your eyes. | Quanto a me, eccomi nelle vostre mani; fate di me come vi sembra bene e giusto. |
| 15 | Seulement sachez que, si vous me faites mourir, vous vous chargez du sang innocent, vous, cette ville et ses habitants ; car l'Éternel m'a véritablement envoyé vers vous pour prononcer à vos oreilles toutes ces paroles. | Only know ye for certain that, if ye put me to death, ye will bring innocent blood upon yourselves, and upon this city, and upon the inhabitants thereof; for of a truth Jehovah hath sent me unto you to speak all these words in your ears. | Ma sappiate per certo che se mi fate morire, attirerete sangue innocente su di voi, su questa città e sui suoi abitanti, perché l'Eterno mi ha veramente mandato a voi, per dichiarare ai vostri orecchi tutte queste parole. |
| 16 | Les chefs et tout le peuple dirent aux sacrificateurs et aux prophètes : Cet homme ne mérite point la mort ; car c'est au nom de l'Éternel, notre Dieu, qu'il nous a parlé. | Then said the princes and all the people unto the priests and to the prophets: This man is not worthy of death; for he hath spoken to us in the name of Jehovah our God. | Allora i principi e tutto il popolo dissero ai sacerdoti e ai profeti: Quest'uomo non merita la morte, perché ci ha parlato nel nome dell'Eterno, il nostro DIO. |
| 17 | Et quelques-uns des anciens du pays se levèrent, et dirent à toute l'assemblée du peuple : | Then rose up certain of the elders of the land, and spake to all the assembly of the people, saying, | Quindi si alzarono alcuni degli anziani del paese e parlarono a tutta l'assemblea del popolo, dicendo: |
| 18 | Michée, de Moréscheth, prophétisait du temps d'Ézéchias, roi de Juda, et il disait à tout le peuple de Juda : Ainsi parle l'Éternel des armées : Sion sera labourée comme un champ, Jérusalem deviendra un monceau de pierres, Et la montagne de la maison une haute forêt. | Micah the Morashtite prophesied in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah; and he spake to all the people of Judah, saying, Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Zion shall be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of a forest. | Michea, il Morashtita, profetizzò ai giorni di Ezechia, re di Giuda, e parlò a tutto il popolo di Giuda, dicendo: Così dice l'Eterno degli eserciti: Sion sarà arata come un campo Gerusalemme diventerà un cumulo di rovine e il monte del tempio un'altura boscosa". |
| 19 | Ézéchias, roi de Juda, et tout Juda l'ont-ils fait mourir ? Ézéchias ne craignit-il pas l'Éternel ? N'implora-t-il pas l'Éternel ? Alors l'Éternel se repentit du mal qu'il avait prononcé contre eux. Et nous, nous chargerions notre âme d'un si grand crime ! | Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah put him to death? did he not fear Jehovah, and entreat the favor of Jehovah, and Jehovah repented him of the evil which he had pronounced against them? Thus should we commit great evil against our own souls. | Lo misero forse a morte Ezechia, re di Giuda, e tutto Giuda? Non temette piuttosto egli l'Eterno e non supplicò forse la faccia dell'Eterno, e così l'Eterno si pentì del male che aveva pronunciato contro di loro? Noi stiamo invece facendo un gran male contro noi stessi. |
| 20 | Il y eut aussi un homme qui prophétisait au nom de l'Éternel, Urie, fils de Schemaeja, de Kirjath Jearim. Il prophétisa contre cette ville et contre ce pays entièrement les mêmes choses que Jérémie. | And there was also a man that prophesied in the name of Jehovah, Uriah the son of Shemaiah of Kiriath-jearim; and he prophesied against this city and against this land according to all the words of Jeremiah: | Ci fu anche un altro uomo che profetizzò nel nome dell'Eterno, Uria, figlio di Scemaiah, di Kiriath-Jearim; egli profetizzò contro questa città e contro questo paese con parole in tutto simili a quelle di Geremia. |
| 21 | Le roi Jojakim, tous ses vaillants hommes, et tous ses chefs, entendirent ses paroles, et le roi chercha à le faire mourir. Urie, qui en fut informé, eut peur, prit la fuite, et alla en Égypte. | and when Jehoiakim the king, with all his mighty-men, and all the princes, heard his words, the king sought to put him to death; but when Uriah heard it, he was afraid, and fled, and went into Egypt: | Quando il re Jehoiakim, tutti i suoi uomini prodi e tutti i suoi principi udirono le sue parole, il re cercò di metterlo a morte, ma Uria lo venne a sapere e ne ebbe paura; perciò fuggì e andò in Egitto. |
| 22 | Le roi Jojakim envoya des gens en Égypte, Elnathan, fils d'Acbor, et des gens avec lui en Égypte. | and Jehoiakim the king sent men into Egypt, [namely], Elnathan the son of Achbor, and certain men with him, into Egypt; | Allora il re Jehoiakim mandò degli uomini in Egitto, Elnathan, figlio di Akbor, e altri uomini con lui in Egitto. |
| 23 | Ils firent sortir d'Égypte Urie et l'amenèrent au roi Jojakim, qui le fit mourir par l'épée et jeta son cadavre sur les sépulcres des enfants du peuple. | and they fetched forth Uriah out of Egypt, and brought him unto Jehoiakim the king, who slew him with the sword, and cast his dead body into the graves of the common people. | Costoro fecero uscire Uria dall'Egitto, e lo condussero al re Jehoiakim, che lo colpì con la spada e gettò il suo cadavere fra le tombe dei figli del popolo. |
| 24 | Cependant la main d'Achikam, fils de Schaphan, fut avec Jérémie, et empêcha qu'il ne fût livré au peuple pour être mis à mort. | But the hand of Ahikam the son of Shaphan was with Jeremiah, that they should not give him into the hand of the people to put him to death. | Ma la mano di Ahikam, figlio di Shafan fu con Geremia, perché non lo consegnassero nelle mani del popolo per metterlo a morte. |
