| 2 | To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace; | Et auquel Abraham donna pour sa part la dîme de tout. Son nom signifie premièrement Roi de justice, et puis il a été Roi de Salem, c'est-à-dire, Roi de paix. | a lui Abrahamo diede anche la decima di ogni cosa. | 3 | Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually. | Sans père, sans mère, sans généalogie, n'ayant ni commencement de jours, ni fin de vie, mais étant fait semblable au Fils de Dieu, il demeure Sacrificateur à toujours. | Senza padre, senza madre, senza genealogia, senza principio di giorni né fine di vita, ma fatto simile al Figlio di Dio egli rimane sacerdote in eterno. |
| 4 | Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils. | Or considérez combien grand était celui à qui même Abraham le Patriarche donna la dîme du butin. | Considerate pertanto quanto fosse grande costui, al quale il patriarca Abrahamo diede la decima del bottino. |
| 5 | And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham: | Car quant à ceux d'entre les enfants de Lévi qui reçoivent la Sacrificature, ils ont bien une ordonnance de dîmer le peuple selon la Loi, c'est-à-dire, de dîmer leurs frères, bien qu'ils soient sortis des reins d'Abraham. | Ora quelli dei figli di Levi, che conseguono il sacerdozio, hanno per legge il mandato di riscuotere la decima dal popolo cioè dai loro fratelli, benché essi pure siano usciti dai lombi di Abrahamo; |
| 6 | But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises. | Mais celui qui n'est point compté d'une même race qu'eux a dîmé Abraham, et a béni celui qui avait les promesses. | costui invece, Melchisedek, pur non derivando la sua discendenza da loro, ricevette la decima da Abrahamo e benedisse colui che aveva le promesse. |

| 8 | And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth. | Et ici les hommes qui sont mortels, prennent les dîmes; mais là, celui-là les prend duquel il est rendu témoignage qu'il est vivant. | Inoltre quelli che qui ricevono le decime sono uomini mortali, là invece le riceve colui di cui è testimoniato che vive. |

| 11 | If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron? | Si donc la perfection s'était trouvée dans la sacrificature Lévitique, (car c'est sous elle que le peuple a reçu la Loi) quel besoin était-il après cela qu'un autre Sacrificateur se levât selon l'ordre de Melchisédec, et qui ne fût point dit selon l'ordre d'Aaron. | Se dunque ci fosse stata la perfezione mediante il sacerdozio levitico (perché sotto quello fu data la legge al popolo), che bisogno c'era che sorgesse un altro sacerdote secondo l'ordine di Melchisedek, e non designato invece secondo l'ordine di Aaronne? |
| 12 | For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law. | Or la Sacrificature étant changée, il est nécessaire qu'il y ait aussi un changement de Loi. | Infatti, se viene cambiato il sacerdozio, avviene necessariamente anche un cambiamento di legge. |
| 13 | For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar. | Car celui à l'égard duquel ces choses sont dites, appartient à une autre Tribu, de laquelle nul n'a assisté à l'autel; | Ora colui del quale si dicono queste cose appartiene ad un'altra tribù, di cui nessuno ha mai servito all'altare; |
| 14 | For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood. | Car il est évident que notre Seigneur est descendu de la Tribu de Juda, à l'égard de laquelle Moïse n'a rien dit de la Sacrificature. | è noto infatti che il nostro Signore è uscito da Giuda, in riferimento a cui Mosè non disse nulla riguardo al sacerdozio. |

| 26 | For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens; | Or il nous était convenable d'avoir un tel souverain Sacrificateur, saint, innocent, sans tache, séparé des pécheurs, et élevé au-dessus des cieux; | A noi infatti occorreva un tale sommo sacerdote, che fosse santo, innocente, immacolato, separato dai peccatori ed elevato al di sopra dei cieli, |
| 27 | Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself. | Qui n'eût pas besoin, comme les souverains Sacrificateurs, d'offrir tous les jours des sacrifices, premièrement pour ses péchés, et ensuite pour ceux du peuple, vu qu'il a fait cela une fois, s'étant offert lui-même. | che non ha bisogno ogni giorno, come quei sommi sacerdoti, di offrire sacrifici prima per i propri peccati e poi per quelli del popolo, poiché egli ha fatto questo una volta per tutte, quando offerse se stesso. |
| 28 | For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore. | Car la Loi ordonne pour souverains Sacrificateurs des hommes faibles; mais la parole du serment qui a été fait après la Loi, ordonne le Fils, qui est consacré pour toujours. | La legge infatti costituisce come sommi sacerdoti uomini soggetti a debolezza, ma la parola del giuramento, che viene dopo la legge, costituisce il Figlio reso perfetto in eterno. |
