| 17 | And she gave the savoury meat and the bread, which she had prepared, into the hand of her son Jacob. | Puis elle mit entre les mains de son fils Jacob ces viandes d'appétit, et le pain qu'elle avait apprêté. | Quindi mise in mano a Giacobbe suo figlio la pietanza saporita e il pane che aveva preparato. |
| 18 | And he came unto his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I; who art thou, my son? | Il vint donc vers son père, et lui dit: Mon père! Il répondit: Me voici; qui es-tu, mon fils? | Allora egli andò da suo padre e gli disse: Padre mio!. Isacco rispose: Eccomi; chi sei tu, figlio mio?. |
| 19 | And Jacob said unto his father, I am Esau thy first born; I have done according as thou badest me: arise, I pray thee, sit and eat of my venison, that thy soul may bless me. | Et Jacob dit à son père: Je suis Esaü, ton fils aîné; j'ai fait ce que tu m'avais commandé; lève-toi, je te prie, assieds-toi, et mange de ma chasse, afin que ton âme me bénisse. | Allora Giacobbe disse a suo padre: Sono Esaù, il tuo primogenito. | 20 | And Isaac said unto his son, How is it that thou hast found it so quickly, my son? And he said, Because the LORD thy God brought it to me. | Et Isaac dit à son fils: Qu'est ceci que tu en aies si-tôt trouvé, mon fils? Et il dit: L'Eternel ton Dieu l'a fait rencontrer devant moi. | Ma Isacco disse a suo figlio: Come hai fatto a trovarne così presto, figlio mio?. Egli rispose: Perché l'Eterno, il tuo DIO, l'ha fatta venire a me. |
| 21 | And Isaac said unto Jacob, Come near, I pray thee, that I may feel thee, my son, whether thou be my very son Esau or not. | Et Isaac dit à Jacob: Mon fils, approche-toi, je te prie, et je te tâterai, afin que je sache si tu es toi-même mon fils Esaü, ou non. | Allora Isacco disse a Giacobbe: Avvicinati e lascia che ti palpi, figlio mio, per sapere se sei proprio mio figlio Esaù, o no. |
| 22 | And Jacob went near unto Isaac his father; and he felt him, and said, The voice is Jacob's voice, but the hands are the hands of Esau. | Jacob donc s'approcha de son père Isaac, qui le tâta, et dit: Cette voix est la voix de Jacob; mais ces mains sont les mains d'Esaü. | Giacobbe dunque si avvicinò a Isacco suo padre; e, come questi lo ebbe palpato disse: La voce è la voce di Giacobbe, ma le mani sono le mani di Esaù. |
| 23 | And he discerned him not, because his hands were hairy, as his brother Esau's hands: so he blessed him. | Et il le méconnut; car ses mains étaient velues comme les mains de son frère Esaü; et il le bénit. | Così non lo riconobbe, perché le mani di lui erano pelose come le mani di Esaù suo fratello; e lo benedisse. |
| 24 | And he said, Art thou my very son Esau? And he said, I am. | Il dit donc: Es-tu toi-même mon fils Esaü? Il répondit: Je le suis. | E disse: Sei tu veramente mio figlio Esaù?. Egli rispose: Si. |
| 25 | And he said, Bring it near to me, and I will eat of my son's venison, that my soul may bless thee. And he brought it near to him, and he did eat: and he brought him wine and he drank. | Il lui dit aussi: Approche-moi donc la viande, et que je mange de la chasse de mon fils, afin que mon âme te bénisse. Et il l'approcha, et Isaac mangea; il lui apporta aussi du vin, et il but. | Allora Isacco gli disse: Servimi affinché io mangi della cacciagione di mio figlio e l'anima mia ti benedica. Così Giacobbe lo servì e Isacco mangiò. Giacobbe gli portò anche del vino ed egli bevve. |
| 26 | And his father Isaac said unto him, Come near now, and kiss me, my son. | Puis Isaac son père lui dit: Approche-toi, je te prie, et me baise, mon fils. | Poi suo padre Isacco gli disse: Ora avvicinati e baciami, figlio mio. |
| 27 | And he came near, and kissed him: and he smelled the smell of his raiment, and blessed him, and said, See, the smell of my son is as the smell of a field which the LORD hath blessed: | Et il s'approcha, et le baisa. Et Isaac sentit l'odeur de ses habits, et le bénit, en disant: Voici l'odeur de mon fils, comme l'odeur d'un champ que l'Eternel a béni. | Ed egli si avvicinò e lo baciò. E Isacco sentì l'odore dei suoi vestiti e lo benedisse dicendo: ecco, l'odore di mio figlio è come l'odore di un campo, che l'Eterno ha benedetto. |
| 28 | Therefore God give thee of the dew of heaven, and the fatness of the earth, and plenty of corn and wine: | Que Dieu te donne de la rosée des cieux, et de la graisse de la terre, et abondance de froment, et de moût! | DIO ti dia la rugiada dei cieli e la fertilità della terra e abbondanza di frumento e di vino. |
| 29 | Let people serve thee, and nations bow down to thee: be lord over thy brethren, and let thy mother's sons bow down to thee: cursed be every one that curseth thee, and blessed be he that blesseth thee. | Que les peuples te servent, et que les nations se prosternent devant toi! Sois le maître de tes frères, et que les fils de ta mère se prosternent devant toi! Quiconque te maudira, soit maudit; et quiconque te bénira, soit béni. | Ti servano i popoli e le nazioni si inchinino davanti a te. Sii padrone dei tuoi fratelli e i figli di tua madre si inchinino davanti a te. Maledetto sia chiunque ti maledice, benedetto sia chiunque ti benedice!. |
| 30 | And it came to pass, as soon as Isaac had made an end of blessing Jacob, and Jacob was yet scarce gone out from the presence of Isaac his father, that Esau his brother came in from his hunting. | Or il arriva qu'aussitôt qu'Isaac eut achevé de bénir Jacob, Jacob étant à peine sorti de devant son père Isaac, son frère Esaü revint de la chasse; | E avvenne che, come Isacco ebbe finito di benedire Giacobbe e Giacobbe si era appena allontanato dalla presenza di suo padre Isacco, Esaù suo fratello rientrò dalla caccia. |
| 31 | And he also had made savoury meat, and brought it unto his father, and said unto his father, Let my father arise, and eat of his son's venison, that thy soul may bless me. | Qui apprêta aussi des viandes d'appétit, et les apporta à son père, et lui dit: Que mon père se lève, et qu'il mange de la chasse de son fils, afin que ton âme me bénisse. | Anch'egli preparò una pietanza saporita, la portò a suo padre e gli disse: Si alzi mio padre e mangi della caccia di suo figlio, affinché l'anima tua mi benedica. |
| 32 | And Isaac his father said unto him, Who art thou? And he said, I am thy son, thy firstborn Esau. | Et Isaac son père lui dit: Qui es-tu? Et il dit: Je suis ton fils, ton fils aîné, Esaü. | Isacco suo padre gli disse: Chi sei tu?. Egli rispose: Sono Esaù, il tuo figlio primogenito. |
| 33 | And Isaac trembled very exceedingly, and said, Who? where is he that hath taken venison, and brought it me, and I have eaten of all before thou camest, and have blessed him? yea, and he shall be blessed. | Et Isaac fut saisi d'une fort grande émotion, et dit: Qui est, et où est celui qui a pris de la chasse, et m'en a apporté? J'ai mangé de tout, avant que tu vinsses, et je l'ai béni; et aussi il sera béni! | Allora Isacco fu preso da un tremito fortissimo e disse: Chi è dunque colui che ha cacciato della selvaggina e me l'ha portata? Io ho mangiato tutto prima che tu venissi e l'ho benedetto; benedetto egli resterà. |
| 34 | And when Esau heard the words of his father, he cried with a great and exceeding bitter cry, and said unto his father, Bless me, even me also, O my father. | Si-tôt qu'Esaü eut entendu les paroles de son père, il jeta un cri fort grand, et amer; et il dit à son père: Bénis-moi aussi, bénis-moi, mon père! | All'udire le parole di suo padre, Esaù diede un grido forte ed amarissimo. Poi disse a suo padre: Benedici anche me, padre mio!. |
| 35 | And he said, Thy brother came with subtilty, and hath taken away thy blessing. | Mais il dit: Ton frère est venu avec artifice, et a emporté ta bénédiction. | Ma Isacco rispose: Tuo fratello è venuto con inganno e si è presa la tua benedizione. |
| 36 | And he said, Is not he rightly named Jacob? for he hath supplanted me these two times: he took away my birthright; and, behold, now he hath taken away my blessing. And he said, Hast thou not reserved a blessing for me? | Et Esaü dit: N'est-ce pas avec raison qu'on a appelé son nom, Jacob? car il m'a déjà supplanté deux fois; il m'a enlevé mon droit d'aînesse, et voici, maintenant il a emporté ma bénédiction. Puis il dit: Ne m'as-tu point réservé de bénédiction? | Esaù disse: Non è a ragione chiamato Giacobbe? Egli mi ha soppiantato già due volte: mi tolse la primogenitura, ed ecco ora si è presa la mia benedizione. Poi aggiunse: Non hai tu riservato una benedizione per me?. |
| 37 | And Isaac answered and said unto Esau, Behold, I have made him thy lord, and all his brethren have I given to him for servants; and with corn and wine have I sustained him: and what shall I do now unto thee, my son? | Et Isaac répondit à Esaü, en disant: Voici, je l'ai établi ton Seigneur, et lui ai donné tous ses frères pour serviteurs, et je l'ai fourni de froment et de moût; et que ferai-je maintenant pour toi, mon fils? | Allora Isacco rispose e disse a Esaù: Ecco, io l'ho costituito tuo padrone e gli ho dato tutti i suoi fratelli per servi, e l'ho provvisto di frumento e di vino; che potrò fare per te, figlio mio?. |
| 38 | And Esau said unto his father, Hast thou but one blessing, my father? bless me, even me also, O my father. And Esau lifted up his voice, and wept. | Et Esaü dit à son père: N'as-tu qu'une bénédiction, mon père? Bénis-moi aussi, bénis-moi, mon père! Et Esaü, élevant sa voix, pleura. | Esaù disse a suo padre: Non hai tu che questa benedizione, padre mio? Benedici anche me, o padre mio!. Ed Esaù alzò la voce e pianse. |
| 39 | And Isaac his father answered and said unto him, Behold, thy dwelling shall be the fatness of the earth, and of the dew of heaven from above; | Et Isaac son père répondit, et dit: Voici, ton habitation sera en la graisse de la terre, et en la rosée des cieux d'en haut. | Isacco suo padre rispose e gli disse: Ecco, la tua dimora sarà priva della fertilità della terra e della rugiada che scenderà dall'alto dei cieli. |
| 40 | And by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck. | Et tu vivras par ton épée, et tu seras asservi à ton frère; mais il arrivera qu'étant devenu maître, tu briseras son joug de dessus ton cou. | Tu vivrai della tua spada e sarai servo di tuo fratello; ma avverrà che, quando combatterai, spezzerai il suo giogo dal tuo collo. |
| 41 | And Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing wherewith his father blessed him: and Esau said in his heart, The days of mourning for my father are at hand; then will I slay my brother Jacob. | Et Esaü eut en haine Jacob, à cause de la bénédiction dont son père l'avait béni, et il dit en son coeur: Les jours du deuil de mon père approchent, et alors je tuerai Jacob mon frère. | Così Esaù prese a odiare Giacobbe a motivo della benedizione datagli da suo padre, e disse in cuor suo: I giorni del lutto per mio padre si avvicinano; allora ucciderò mio fratello Giacobbe |
| 42 | And these words of Esau her elder son were told to Rebekah: and she sent and called Jacob her younger son, and said unto him, Behold, thy brother Esau, as touching thee, doth comfort himself, purposing to kill thee. | Et on rapporta à Rébecca les discours d'Esaü, son fils aîné; et elle envoya appeler Jacob son second fils, et lui dit: Voici, Esaü ton frère se console dans l'espérance qu'il a de te tuer. | Quando le parole di Esaù, suo figlio maggiore, furono riferite a Rebecca, ella mandò a chiamare Giacobbe, suo figlio minore, e gli disse: Ecco, Esaù, tuo fratello, si consola nei tuoi riguardi, pensando di ucciderti. |
| 43 | Now therefore, my son, obey my voice; arise, flee thou to Laban my brother to Haran; | Maintenant donc, mon fils, obéis à ma parole; lève-toi, et t'enfuis à Caran, vers Laban, mon frère. | Or dunque, figlio mio, ubbidisci fai ciò che ti dico: Alzati e fuggi a Haran da Labano mio fratello; |
| 44 | And tarry with him a few days, until thy brother's fury turn away; | Et demeure avec lui quelque temps, jusqu'à ce que la fureur de ton frère soit passée; | e rimani con lui un po' di tempo, finché la collera di tuo fratello sia passata, |
| 45 | Until thy brother's anger turn away from thee, and he forget that which thou hast done to him: then I will send, and fetch thee from thence: why should I be deprived also of you both in one day? | Et que sa colère soit détournée de toi, et qu'il ait oublié les choses que tu lui as faites. J'enverrai ensuite pour te tirer de là. Pourquoi serais-je privée de vous deux en un même jour? | finché l'ira di tuo fratello sia distolta da te ed egli abbia dimenticato quello che tu gli hai fatto; allora io manderò a prenderti di là. | 46 | And Rebekah said to Isaac, I am weary of my life because of the daughters of Heth: if Jacob take a wife of the daughters of Heth, such as these which are of the daughters of the land, what good shall my life do me? | Et Rébecca dit à Isaac: La vie m'est devenue ennuyeuse, à cause de ces Héthiennes. Si Jacob prend pour femme quelqu'une de ces Héthiennes, comme sont les filles de ce pays, à quoi me sert la vie? | Poi Rebecca disse ad Isacco: Io sono disgustata della vita a motivo di queste figlie di Heth. Se Giacobbe prende in moglie una tra le figlie di Heth, una donna come quelle del paese, a che mi servirà la vita?. |
