| 8 | Quand je dis au méchant : Méchant, tu mourras ! si tu ne parles pas pour détourner le méchant de sa voie, ce méchant mourra dans son iniquité, et je te redemanderai son sang. | When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. | Quando dico all'empio: "Empio, tu morirai sicuramente" e tu non parli per avvertire l'empio che si allontani dalla sua via, quell'empio morirà per la sua iniquità, ma del suo sangue chiederò conto alla tua mano. |

| 11 | Dis-leur : je suis vivant ! dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel, ce que je désire, ce n'est pas que le méchant meure, c'est qu'il change de conduite et qu'il vive. Revenez, revenez de votre mauvaise voie ; et pourquoi mourriez-vous, maison d'Israël ? | Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel? | Di' loro: Com'è vero che io vivo, dice il Signore, l'Eterno, io non mi compiaccio della morte dell'empio, ma che l'empio si converta dalla sua via e viva; convertitevi, convertitevi dalle vostre vie malvagie. | 12 | Et toi, fils de l'homme, dis aux enfants de ton peuple : La justice du juste ne le sauvera pas au jour de sa transgression ; et le méchant ne tombera pas par sa méchanceté le jour où il s'en détournera, de même que le juste ne pourra pas vivre par sa justice au jour de sa transgression. | Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth. | Perciò tu, figlio d'uomo, di' ai figli del tuo popolo: La giustizia del giusto non lo salverà nel giorno del suo peccato; così pure l'empietà dell'empio non lo farà cadere nel giorno in cui si allontanerà dalla sua empietà, e il giusto non potrà vivere per la sua giustizia nel giorno in cui peccherà. |

| 19 | Si le méchant revient de sa méchanceté et pratique la droiture et la justice, il vivra à cause de cela. | But if the wicked turn from his wickedness, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall live thereby. | Quando invece l'empio si allontana dalla sua empietà e compie ciò che è retto e giusto, per questo egli vivrà. |

| 24 | Fils de l'homme, ceux qui habitent ces ruines dans le pays d'Israël disent : Abraham était seul, et il a hérité le pays ; à nous qui sommes nombreux, le pays est donné en possession. | Son of man, they that inhabit those wastes of the land of Israel speak, saying, Abraham was one, and he inherited the land: but we are many; the land is given us for inheritance. | Figlio d'uomo, gli abitanti di quelle rovine nel paese d'Israele dicono: "Abrahamo, era solo ed ebbe il possesso del paese, ma noi siamo molti e il possesso del paese è dato a noi". |
| 25 | C'est pourquoi dis-leur : Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel : Vous mangez vos aliments avec du sang, vous levez les yeux vers vos idoles, vous répandez le sang. Et vous posséderiez le pays ! | Wherefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Ye eat with the blood, and lift up your eyes toward your idols, and shed blood: and shall ye possess the land? | Perciò di' loro: Così dice il Signore, l'Eterno: Voi mangiate la carne col sangue, alzate gli occhi verso i vostri idoli versate il sangue e vorreste possedere il paese. |
| 26 | Vous vous appuyez sur votre épée, vous commettez des abominations, chacun de vous déshonore la femme de son prochain. Et vous posséderiez le pays ! | Ye stand upon your sword, ye work abomination, and ye defile every one his neighbour's wife: and shall ye possess the land? | Vi appoggiate sulla vostra spada, commettete abominazioni, ciascuno contamina la moglie del proprio vicino e vorreste possedere il paese. |
| 27 | Dis-leur : Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel : Je suis vivant ! Ceux qui sont parmi les ruines tomberont par l'épée ; ceux qui sont dans les champs, j'en ferai la pâture des bêtes ; et ceux qui sont dans les forts et dans les cavernes mourront par la peste. | Say thou thus unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; As I live, surely they that are in the wastes shall fall by the sword, and him that is in the open field will I give to the beasts to be devoured, and they that be in the forts and in the caves shall die of the pestilence. | Di' loro così: dice il Signore, l'Eterno: Com'è vero che io vivo, quelli che stanno fra quelle rovine periranno di spada, quelli che sono in aperta campagna li darò in pasto alle bestie e quelli che sono nelle fortezze e nelle caverne moriranno di peste. |
| 28 | Je réduirai le pays en solitude et en désert ; l'orgueil de sa force prendra fin, les montagnes d'Israël seront désolées, personne n'y passera. | For I will lay the land most desolate, and the pomp of her strength shall cease; and the mountains of Israel shall be desolate, that none shall pass through. | Ridurrò il paese a una desolazione e a un deserto, l'orgoglio della sua forza verrà meno e i monti d'Israele saranno così desolati che nessuno più vi passerà. |
| 29 | Et ils sauront que je suis l'Éternel, quand je réduirai le pays en solitude et en désert, à cause de toutes les abominations qu'ils ont commises. | Then shall they know that I am the LORD, when I have laid the land most desolate because of all their abominations which they have committed. | Riconosceranno che io sono l'Eterno, quando avrò ridotto il paese a una desolazione e a un deserto per tutte le abominazioni che hanno commesso. |
| 30 | Et toi, fils de l'homme, les enfants de ton peuple s'entretiennent de toi près des murs et aux portes des maisons, et ils se disent l'un à l'autre, chacun à son frère : Venez donc, et écoutez quelle est la parole qui est procédée de l'Éternel ! | Also, thou son of man, the children of thy people still are talking against thee by the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, every one to his brother, saying, Come, I pray you, and hear what is the word that cometh forth from the LORD. | Quanto a te, figlio d'uomo, i figli del tuo popolo parlano di te presso le mura e sulle porte delle case, si parlano l'un l'altro, dicendo ognuno al proprio fratello: "Venite a sentire qual è la parola che viene dall'Eterno" |
| 31 | Et ils se rendent en foule auprès de toi, et mon peuple s'assied devant toi ; ils écoutent tes paroles, mais ils ne les mettent point en pratique, car leur bouche en fait un sujet de moquerie, et leur coeur se livre à la cupidité. | And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness. | Così vengono da te come fa la gente, si siedono davanti a te come il mio popolo e ascoltano le tue parole, ma non le mettono in pratica; con la loro bocca, infatti mostrano tanto amore, ma il loro cuore va dietro al loro ingiusto guadagno. |
| 32 | Voici, tu es pour eux comme un chanteur agréable, possédant une belle voix, et habile dans la musique.
