| 1 | Moïse répondit, et dit: Mais voici, ils ne me croiront pas, et n'écouteront pas ma voix; car ils diront: L'Éternel ne t'est point apparu. | And Moses answered and said, But, behold, they will not believe me, nor hearken unto my voice; for they will say, Jehovah hath not appeared unto thee. | Mosè rispose e disse: Ma ecco, essi non mi crederanno e non ubbidiranno alla mia voce, perché diranno: "L'Eterno non ti è apparso". |
| 2 | Et l'Éternel lui dit: Qu'est-ce que tu as dans ta main? Et il dit: Une verge. | And Jehovah said unto him, What is that in thy hand? And he said, A rod. | L'Eterno quindi gli disse: Che cos'è quello che hai in mano?. Egli rispose: Un bastone. |
| 3 | Et il dit: Jette-la à terre. Et il la jeta à terre, et elle devint un serpent; et Moïse fuyait devant lui. | And he said, Cast in on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it. | L'Eterno disse: Gettalo a terra. Egli lo gettò a terra, ed esso diventò un serpente, davanti al quale Mosè fuggì. |
| 4 | Et l'Éternel dit à Moïse: Étends ta main, et saisis-le par la queue (et il étendit sa main, et le saisit, et il devint une verge dans sa main), | And Jehovah said unto Moses, Put forth thy hand, and take it by the tail: (and he put forth his hand, and laid hold of it, and it became a rod in his hand:) | Allora l'Eterno disse a Mosè: Stendi la tua mano e prendilo per la coda. (Egli stese la mano e lo prese, e nella sua mano esso divenne un bastone). |
| 5 | afin qu'ils croient que l'Éternel, le Dieu de leurs pères, le Dieu d'Abraham, le Dieu d'Isaac, le Dieu de Jacob, t'est apparu. | That they may believe that Jehovah, the God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath appeared unto thee. | Questo, farai, disse l'Eterno, affinché credano che l'Eterno, il DIO dei loro padri, il DIO di Abrahamo, il DIO di Isacco e il DIO di Giacobbe ti è apparso. |
| 6 | Et l'Éternel lui dit encore: Mets maintenant ta main dans ton sein. Et il mit sa main dans son sein; et il la retira, et voici, sa main était lépreuse, blanche comme neige. | And Jehovah said furthermore unto him, Put now thy hand into thy bosom. And he put his hand into his bosom: and when he took it out, behold, his hand was leprous, as [white as] snow. | L'Eterno gli disse ancora: Ora metti la tua mano nel tuo seno. Ed egli mise la sua mano in seno e poi la ritrasse, ed ecco che la mano era lebbrosa, bianca come neve. |
| 7 | Et il dit: Remets ta main dans ton sein. Et il remit sa main dans son sein; et il la retira de son sein, et voici, elle était redevenue comme sa chair. | And he said, Put thy hand into thy bosom again. (And he put his hand into his bosom again; and when he took it out of his bosom, behold, it was turned again as his [other] flesh.) | L'Eterno gli disse ancora: Rimetti la tua mano nel tuo seno. Egli rimise la sua mano in seno e poi la ritrasse dal seno, ed ecco che era ritornata come la sua carne. |
| 8 | Et il arrivera que, s'ils ne te croient pas et n'écoutent pas la voix du premier signe, ils croiront la voix de l'autre signe. | And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe thee, neither hearken to the voice of the first sign, that they will believe the voice of the latter sign. | Or avverrà che, e non ti crederanno e non daranno ascolto alla voce del primo segno, crederanno alla voce del secondo segno. |
| 9 | Et il arrivera que s'ils ne croient pas même à ces deux signes, et n'écoutent pas ta voix, tu prendras de l'eau du fleuve et tu la verseras sur le sec; et l'eau que tu auras prise du fleuve deviendra du sang sur le sec. | And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe even these two signs, neither hearken unto thy voice, that thou shalt take of the water of the river, and pour it upon the dry land: and the water which thou takest out of the river shall become blood upon the dry land. | Ma, se essi non crederanno neppure a questi due segni e non ubbidiranno alla tua voce, tu allora prenderai dell'acqua del fiume e la verserai sull'asciutto; e l'acqua che avrai preso dal fiume diventerà sangue sull'asciutto. |
| 10 | Et Moïse dit à l'Éternel: Ah, Seigneur! je ne suis pas un homme éloquent, - ni d'hier, ni d'avant-hier, ni depuis que tu parles à ton serviteur; car j'ai la bouche pesante et la langue pesante. | And Moses said unto Jehovah, Oh, Lord, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant; for I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue. | Allora Mosè disse all'Eterno: Ahimè, Signore, io non sono un parlatore; non lo ero in passato e non lo sono da quando tu hai parlato al tuo servo, poiché sono tardo di parola e di lingua. |
| 11 | Et l'Éternel lui dit: Qui est-ce qui a donné une bouche à l'homme? ou qui a fait le muet, ou le sourd, ou le voyant, ou l'aveugle? N'est-ce pas moi, l'Éternel? | And Jehovah said unto him, Who hath made man`s mouth? Or who maketh [a man] dumb, or deaf, or seeing, or blind? Is it not I, Jehovah? | L'Eterno gli disse: Chi ha fatto la bocca dell'uomo, o chi rende uno muto, sordo, vedente o cieco? Non sono, forse io, l'Eterno? |
| 12 | Et maintenant, va, et je serai avec ta bouche, et je t'enseignerai ce que tu diras. | Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt speak. | Or dunque va', e io sarò con la tua bocca e ti insegnerò ciò che dovrai dire, |
| 13 | Et il dit: Ah, Seigneur! envoie, je te prie, par celui que tu enverras. | And he said, Oh, Lord, send, I pray thee, by the hand of him whom thou wilt send. | Ma Mosè disse: Deh! Signore manda il tuo messaggio per mezzo di chi vorrai!. |
| 14 | Alors la colère de l'Éternel s'embrasa contre Moïse, et il dit: Aaron, le Lévite, n'est-il pas ton frère? Je sais qu'il parlera très-bien; et aussi le voici qui sort à ta rencontre, et quand il te verra, il se réjouira dans son coeur. | And the anger of Jehovah was kindled against Moses, and he said, Is there not Aaron thy brother the Levite? I know that he can speak well. And also, behold, he cometh forth to meet thee: and when he seeth thee, he will be glad in his heart. | Allora l'ira dell'Eterno si accese contro Mosè, ed egli disse: Non c' è forse Aaronne tuo fratello, il Levita? Io so che parla bene. Or ecco. egli esce a incontrarti; come ti vedrà. si rallegrerà in cuor suo. |
| 15 | Et tu lui parleras, et tu mettras les paroles dans sa bouche; et moi, je serai avec ta bouche et avec sa bouche, et je vous enseignerai ce que vous ferez; | And thou shalt speak unto him, and put the words in his mouth: and I will be with thy mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what ye shall do. | Tu gli parlerai e metterai le parole nella sua bocca, e io sarò con la tua bocca e con la sua bocca e vi insegnerò quello che dovrete fare. |
| 16 | et il parlera pour toi au peuple, et il arrivera qu'il te sera en la place de bouche, et toi, tu lui seras en la place de Dieu. | And he shall be thy spokesman unto the people; and it shall come to pass, that he shall be to thee a mouth, and thou shalt be to him as God. | Egli sarà il tuo portavoce al popolo; così egli sarà per te la bocca e tu sarai per lui come Dio. |
| 17 | Et tu prendras dans ta main cette verge, avec laquelle tu feras les signes. | And thou shalt take in thy hand this rod, wherewith thou shalt do the signs. | Or prendi in mano questo bastone col quale farai i prodigi. |
| 18 | Et Moïse s'en alla, et retourna vers Jéthro, son beau-père, et lui dit: Je te prie, laisse-moi m'en aller, et retourner vers mes frères qui sont en Égypte, afin que je voie s'ils vivent encore. Et Jéthro dit à Moïse: Va en paix. | And Moses went and returned to Jethro his father-in-law, and said unto him, Let me go, I pray thee, and return unto my brethren that are in Egypt, and see whether they be yet alive. And Jethro said to Moses, Go in peace. | Allora Mosè se ne andò, tornò da Jethro suo suocero e gli disse: Deh, lascia che io me ne vada e torni dai miei fratelli che sono in Egitto, per vedere se sono ancora vivi. E Jethro disse a Mosè: Va'in pace. |
| 19 | Et l'Éternel dit à Moïse, en Madian: Va, retourne en Égypte; car tous les hommes qui cherchaient ta vie sont morts. | And Jehovah said unto Moses in Midian, Go, return into Egypt; for all the men are dead that sought thy life. | L'Eterno disse a Mosè in Madian: Va', tornatene in Egitto perché tutti quelli che cercavano la tua vita sono morti. |
| 20 | Et Moïse prit sa femme et ses fils, et les fit monter sur un âne, et retourna au pays d'Égypte. Et Moïse prit la verge de Dieu dans sa main. | And Moses took his wife and his sons, and set them upon an ass, and he returned to the land of Egypt: and Moses took the rod of God in his hand. | Così Mosè prese la sua moglie e i suoi figli, li pose su un asino e tornò nel paese d'Egitto. E Mosè prese nella sua mano il bastone di Dio. |
| 21 | Et l'Éternel dit à Moïse: Quand tu t'en iras pour retourner en Égypte, vois tous les miracles que j'ai mis dans ta main, et tu les feras devant le Pharaon; et moi, j'endurcirai son coeur, et il ne laissera pas aller le peuple. | And Jehovah said unto Moses, When thou goest back into Egypt, see that thou do before Pharaoh all the wonders which I have put in thy hand: but I will harden his heart and he will not let the people go. | L'Eterno disse quindi a Mosè: Quando sarai tornato in Egitto, avrai cura di fare davanti al Faraone tutti i prodigi che ti ho dato potere di compiere; ma io indurirò il suo cuore ed egli non lascerà partire il popolo. |
| 22 | Et tu diras au Pharaon: Ainsi a dit l'Éternel: Israël est mon fils, mon premier-né. | And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith Jehovah, Israel is my son, my first-born: | E tu dirai al Faraone: "Così dice l'Eterno: Israele è il mio figlio, il mio primogenito". |
| 23 | Et je te dis: Laisse aller mon fils pour qu'il me serve; et si tu refuses de le laisser aller, voici, je tuerai ton fils, ton premier-né. | and I have said unto thee, Let my son go, that he may serve me; and thou hast refused to let him go: behold, I will slay thy son, thy first-born. | Perciò io ti dico: Lascia andare il mio figlio, affinché mi serva; ma se tu rifiuti di lasciarlo andare, ecco io ucciderò il tuo figlio, il tuo primogenito. |
| 24 | Et il arriva, en chemin, dans le caravansérail, que l'Éternel vint contre lui, et chercha à le faire mourir. | And it came to pass on the way at the lodging-place, that Jehovah met him, and sought to kill him. | Or avvenne che durante il viaggio nel luogo dov'erano accampati, l'Eterno andò incontro a Mosè e cercò di farlo morire. |
| 25 | Et Séphora prit une pierre tranchante et coupa le prépuce de son fils, et le jeta à ses pieds, et dit: Certes tu m'es un époux de sang! | Then Zipporah took a flint, and cut off the foreskin of her son, and cast it at his feet; and she said, Surely a bridegroom of blood art thou to me. | Allora Sefora prese una selce tagliente, recise il prepuzio di suo figlio e lo gettò ai piedi di Mosè, dicendo: Tu sei per me uno sposo di sangue!. |
| 26 | Et l'Éternel le laissa. Alors elle dit: Époux de sang! à cause de la circoncision. | So he let him alone. Then she said, A bridegroom of blood [art thou], because of the circumcision. | Così l'Eterno lo lasciò. Allora ella disse: Tu sei uno sposo di sangue, a motivo della circoncisione. |
| 27 | Et l'Éternel dit à Aaron: Va à la rencontre de Moïse, au désert. Et il alla, et le rencontra en la montagne de Dieu, et le baisa. | And Jehovah said to Aaron, Go into the wilderness to meet Moses. And he went, and met him in the mountain of God, and kissed him. | L'Eterno disse ad Aaronne: Va' nel deserto ad incontrare Mosè. Ed egli andò, lo incontrò al monte di DIO e lo baciò. |
| 28 | Et Moïse raconta à Aaron toutes les paroles de l'Éternel qui l'avait envoyé, et tous les signes qu'il lui avait commandés. | And Moses told Aaron all the words of Jehovah wherewith he had sent him, and all the signs wherewith he had charged him. | Così Mosè riferì ad Aaronne tutte le parole che l'Eterno gli aveva ordinato di dire, e tutti i segni portentosi che gli aveva comandato di fare. |
| 29 | Et Moïse et Aaron allèrent, et assemblèrent tous les anciens des fils d'Israël; | And Moses and Aaron went and gathered together all the elders of the children of Israel: | Allora Mosè ed Aaronne andarono e radunarono tutti gli anziani dei figli d'Israele. |
| 30 | et Aaron dit toutes les paroles que l'Éternel avait dites à Moïse, et fit les signes devant les yeux du peuple. | and Aaron spake all the words which Jehovah had spoken unto Moses, and did the signs in the sight of the people. | E Aaronne riferì tutte le parole che l'Eterno aveva detto a Mosè e fece i prodigi in presenza del popolo. |
| 31 | Et le peuple crut; et ils apprirent que l'Éternel avait visité les fils d'Israël, et qu'il avait vu leur affliction; et ils s'inclinèrent et se prosternèrent. | And the people believed: and when they heard that Jehovah had visited the children of Israel, and that he had seen their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshipped. | Così il popolo credette. Essi compresero che l'Eterno aveva visitato i figli d'Israele e aveva veduto la loro afflizione; e si inchinarono e adorarono. |
