Ote maintenant tes ornements de dessus toi, et je verrai ce que je te ferai. | For the LORD had said unto Moses, Say unto the children of Israel, Ye are a stiffnecked people: I will come up into the midst of thee in a moment, and consume thee: therefore now put off thy ornaments from thee, that I may know what to do unto thee. | Infatti l'Eterno aveva detto a Mosè: Di'ai figli d'Israele: "Voi siete un popolo dal collo duro; se io salissi per un solo momento in mezzo a te, ti consumerei Perciò ora togliti i tuoi ornamenti e così saprò ciò ce devo fare con te". |

| 7 | Moïse prit la tente et la dressa hors du camp, à quelque distance ; il l'appela tente d'assignation ; et tous ceux qui consultaient l'Éternel allaient vers la tente d'assignation, qui était hors du camp. | And Moses took the tabernacle, and pitched it without the camp, afar off from the camp, and called it the Tabernacle of the congregation. | 9 | Et lorsque Moïse était entré dans la tente, la colonne de nuée descendait et s'arrêtait à l'entrée de la tente, et l'Éternel parlait avec Moïse. | And it came to pass, as Moses entered into the tabernacle, the cloudy pillar descended, and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the Lord talked with Moses. | Come Mosè entrava nella tenda, la colonna di nuvola scendeva e si fermava all'ingresso della tenda, e l'Eterno parlava con Mosè. |
| 10 | Tout le peuple voyait la colonne de nuée qui s'arrêtait à l'entrée de la tente, tout le peuple se levait et se prosternait à l'entrée de sa tente. | And all the people saw the cloudy pillar stand at the tabernacle door: and all the people rose up and worshipped, every man in his tent door. | Tutto il popolo vedeva la colonna di nuvola ferma all'ingresso della tenda; quindi tutto il popolo si alzava e ciascuno si prostrava all'ingresso della propria tenda. |

Puis Moïse retournait au camp ; mais son jeune serviteur, Josué, fils de Nun, ne sortait pas du milieu de la tente. | And the LORD spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle. | Così l'Eterno parlava con Mosè faccia a faccia, come un uomo parla col proprio amico; poi Mosè tornava all'accampamento. Ma Giosuè, figlio di Nun, suo giovane ministro, non si allontanava dalla tenda. |
| 12 | Moïse dit à l'Éternel : Voici, tu me dis : Fais monter ce peuple ! Et tu ne me fais pas connaître qui tu enverras avec moi. Cependant, tu as dit : Je te connais par ton nom, et tu as trouvé grâce à mes yeux. | And Moses said unto the LORD, See, thou sayest unto me, Bring up this people: and thou hast not let me know whom thou wilt send with me. Yet thou hast said, I know thee by name, and thou hast also found grace in my sight. | Poi Mosè disse all'Eterno: Vedi, tu mi dici: "Fa' salire questo popolo". Ma tu non mi hai fatto sapere chi manderai con me. Eppure hai detto: "Io ti conosco personalmente e hai pure trovato grazia ai miei occhi". |
| 13 | Maintenant, si j'ai trouvé grâce à tes yeux, fais-moi connaître tes voies ; alors je te connaîtrai, et je trouverai encore grâce à tes yeux. Considère que cette nation est ton peuple. | Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people. | Perciò ora, se ho trovato grazia ai tuoi occhi, deh, fammi conoscere le tue vie, perché ti conosca e possa trovare grazia ai tuoi occhi. | 14 | L'Éternel répondit : Je marcherai moi-même avec toi, et je te donnerai du repos. | And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest. | L'Eterno rispose: La mia presenza andrà con te, e ti darò riposo. |
| 15 | Moïse lui dit : Si tu ne marches pas toi-même avec nous, ne nous fais point partir d'ici. | And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence. | Mosè allora gli disse: Se la tua presenza non viene con me, non farci partire di qui. |
| 16 | Comment sera-t-il donc certain que j'ai trouvé grâce à tes yeux, moi et ton peuple ? Ne sera-ce pas quand tu marcheras avec nous, et quand nous serons distingués, moi et ton peuple, de tous les peuples qui sont sur la face de la terre ? | For wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy sight? is it not in that thou goest with us? so shall we be separated, I and thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth. | Come si potrà ora conoscere che io e il tuo popolo abbiamo trovato grazia ai tuoi occhi Non è forse perché tu vieni con noi? Così noi saremo distinti, io e il tuo popolo, da tutti i popoli che sono sulla faccia della terra. |
| 17 | L'Éternel dit à Moïse : Je ferai ce que tu me demandes, car tu as trouvé grâce à mes yeux, et je te connais par ton nom. | And the LORD said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know thee by name. | L'Eterno disse a Mosè: Farò anche questa a che hai chiesto, poiché tu hai trovato grazia ai miei occhi e ti conosco personalmente. |
| 18 | Moïse dit : Fais-moi voir ta gloire ! | And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory. | Allora Mosè disse: Deh, fammi vedere la tua gloria!. |
| 19 | L'Éternel répondit : Je ferai passer devant toi toute ma bonté, et je proclamerai devant toi le nom de l'Éternel ; je fais grâce à qui je fais grâce, et miséricorde à qui je fais miséricorde. | And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy. | L'Eterno gli rispose: Io farò passare davanti a te tutta la mia bontà e proclamerò il nome dell'Eterno davanti a te. Farò grazia a chi farò grazia e avrò pietà di chi avrò pietà. |
| 20 | L'Éternel dit : Tu ne pourras pas voir ma face, car l'homme ne peut me voir et vivre. | And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live. | Disse ancora: Tu non puoi vedere la mia faccia, perché nessun uomo mi può vedere e vivere. |
| 21 | L'Éternel dit : Voici un lieu près de moi ; tu te tiendras sur le rocher. | And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock: | Quindi l'Eterno disse: Ecco un luogo vicino a me; tu starai sulla roccia; |
| 22 | Quand ma gloire passera, je te mettrai dans un creux du rocher, et je te couvrirai de ma main jusqu'à ce que j'aie passé. | And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: | e mentre passerà la mia gloria, io ti metterò in una fenditura della roccia e ti coprirò con la mia mano, finché io sia passato; |
| 23 | Et lorsque je retournerai ma main, tu me verras par derrière, mais ma face ne pourra pas être vue. | And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen. | poi ritirerò la mano e mi vedrai di spalle; ma la mia faccia non si può vedere. |
