| 11 | Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. | Rivestitevi dell'intera armatura di Dio per poter rimanere ritti e saldi contro le insidie del diavolo |

| 20 | For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak. | per il quale sono ambasciatore in catene, affinché lo possa annunziare con franchezza, come è mio dovere fare. |
| 21 | But that ye also may know my affairs, and how I do, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, shall make known to you all things: | Ora, affinché anche voi sappiate come sto e ciò che faccio, Tichico, il caro fratello e fedele ministro nel Signore, vi informerà di tutto; |
| 22 | Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that ye might know our affairs, and that he might comfort your hearts. | ve l'ho mandato proprio a questo scopo, affinché veniate a conoscenza del nostro stato e consoli i vostri cuori. |
