| 2 | Et j'enverrai le feu en Moab, et il dévorera les palais de Kérijoth; et Moab mourra dans le tumulte, dans l'alarme, et au bruit du cor. | but I will send a fire upon Moab, and it shall devour the palaces of Kerioth; and Moab shall die with tumult, with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet; | Perciò manderò fuoco in Moab, che divorerà i palazzi di Kerioth, e Moab perirà in mezzo al tumulto, al grido di guerra e al suono delle trombe. |
| 3 | Et j'exterminerai les Gouverneurs du milieu de son pays; et je tuerai ensemble avec lui tous les principaux du pays, a dit l'Eternel. | and I will cut off the judge from the midst thereof, and will slay all the princes thereof with him, saith Jehovah. | Sterminerò dal suo mezzo il giudice e ucciderò tutti i suoi capi con lui, dice l'Eterno. |
| 4 | Ainsi a dit l'Eternel: à cause de trois crimes de Juda, même à cause de quatre, je ne rappellerai point cela; mais je le ferai parce qu'ils ont rejeté la Loi de l'Eternel, et n'ont point gardé ses statuts; mais leurs mensonges, lesquels leurs pères avaient suivis, les ont fait égarer. | Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Judah, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have rejected the law of Jehovah, and have not kept his statutes, and their lies have caused them to err, after which their fathers did walk: | Così dice l'eterno: Per tre misfatti di Giuda, anzi per quattro, io non revocherò la sua punizione, perché hanno disprezzato la legge dell'eterno e non hanno osservato i suoi statuti. Così gli idoli, dietro i quali già andarono i loro padri, li hanno fatti sviare. |
| 5 | Et j'enverrai le feu en Juda, et il dévorera les palais de Jérusalem. | but I will send a fire upon Judah, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem. | Perciò manderò fuoco in Giuda, che divorerà i palazzi di Gerusalemme. |
| 6 | Ainsi a dit l'Eternel: à cause de trois crimes d'Israël, même à cause de quatre, je ne rappellerai point cela; mais je le ferai parce qu'ils ont vendu le juste pour de l'argent, et le pauvre pour une paire de souliers; | Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of Israel, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have sold the righteous for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes- | Così dice l'Eterno: Per tre misfatti d'Israele, anzi per quattro, io non revocherò la sua punizione, perché vendono il giusto per denaro e il povero per un paio di sandali, |
| 7 | Soupirant après la poussière de la terre pour la jeter sur la tête des chétifs; et ils pervertissent la voie des débonnaires; et le fils et le père s'en vont à une même jeune fille, pour profaner le Nom de ma sainteté. | they that pant after the dust of the earth on the head of the poor, and turn aside the way of the meek: and a man and his father go unto the [same] maiden, to profane my holy name: | essi che desiderano ardentemente vedere la polvere della terra sul capo dei miseri e pervertono il diritto degli umili. Un uomo e suo padre vanno entrambi dalla stessa ragazza, per profanare il mio santo nome. |
| 8 | Et se couchent près de tout autel, sur les vêtements qu'ils ont pris en gage, et boivent dans la maison de leurs dieux le vin des condamnés. | and they lay themselves down beside every altar upon clothes taken in pledge; and in the house of their God they drink the wine of such as have been fined. | Si stendono accanto ad ogni altare su vesti prese in pegno e nella casa dei loro dèi bevono il vino di quelli colpiti da multa. |
| 9 | J'ai pourtant détruit devant eux l'Amorrhéen, dont la hauteur était comme la hauteur des cèdres, et qui était fort comme les chênes; et j'ai ruiné son fruit par-dessus, et ses racines par-dessous. | Yet destroyed I the Amorite before them, whose height was like the height of the cedars, and he was strong as the oaks; yet I destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath. | Eppure io distrussi davanti a loro l'Amorreo, la cui altezza era come l'altezza dei cedri ed era forte come le querce; io distrussi il suo frutto in alto e le sue radici in basso. |
| 10 | Je vous ai aussi tirés du pays d'Egypte, et je vous ai conduits par le désert durant quarante ans, afin que vous possédassiez le pays de l'Amorrhéen. | Also I brought you up out of the land of Egypt, and led you forty years in the wilderness, to possess the land of the Amorite. | Io vi feci anche uscire dal paese d'Egitto e vi condussi per quarant'anni nel deserto, per darvi in eredità il paese dell'Amorreo. |
| 11 | Davantage, j'ai suscité quelques-uns d'entre vos fils pour être Prophètes, et quelques-uns d'entre vos jeunes gens pour être Nazariens; n'est-il pas ainsi, enfants d'Israël; dit l'Eternel? | And I raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for Nazirites. Is it not even thus, O ye children of Israel? saith Jehovah. | Feci sorgere alcuni profeti tra i vostri figli e Nazirei fra i vostri giovani. Non è forse così, o figli d'Israele?, dice l'Eterno. |
| 12 | Mais vous avez fait boire du vin aux Nazariens, et vous avez commandé aux Prophètes, et leur avez dit: Ne prophétisez plus. | But ye gave the Nazirites wine to drink, and commanded the prophets, saying, Prophesy not. | Ma voi avete fatto bere vino ai Nazirei e avete comandato ai profeti, dicendo: "Non profetizzate". |
| 13 | Voici, je m'en vais fouler le lieu où vous habitez, comme un chariot plein de gerbes foule tout par où il passe. | Behold, I will press [you] in your place, as a cart presseth that is full of sheaves. | Ecco io sono schiacciato sotto di voi, come è schiacciato il carro pieno di covoni. |
| 14 | Tellement que l'homme léger ne pourra point fuir, et le fort ne pourra pas faire usage de sa vigueur, et le vaillant ne sauvera point sa vie. | And flight shall perish from the swift; and the strong shall not strengthen his force; neither shall the mighty deliver himself; | Perciò il veloce non avrà modo di fuggire, il forte non consoliderà la sua forza né l'uomo valoroso salverà la sua vita. |
| 15 | Et celui qui manie l'arc, ne pourra point demeurer ferme; et celui qui est léger à la course n'échappera point; et l'homme de cheval ne sauvera point sa vie. | neither shall he stand that handleth the bow; and he that is swift of foot shall not deliver [himself]; neither shall he that rideth the horse deliver himself; | Chi maneggia l'arco non potrà resistere, chi ha piedi veloci non riuscirà a scappare, né salverà la sua vita il cavaliere a cavallo. |
| 16 | Et le plus courageux entre les hommes forts s'enfuira tout nu en ce jour- là, dit l'Eternel. | and he that is courageous among the mighty shall flee away naked in that day, saith Jehovah. | In quel giorno il più coraggioso fra gli uomini valorosi fuggirà nudo, dice l'Eterno. |
