| 2 | Parle maintenant à Zorobabel, fils de Salathiel, Gouverneur de Juda, et à Jéhosuah, fils de Jéhotsadak, grand Sacrificateur, et au reste du peuple, et leur dis: | Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and to the remnant of the people, saying, | Parla ora a Zorobabel, figlio di Scealtiel, governatore di Giuda, e a Giosué, figlio di Jehotsadak, il sommo sacerdote, e al resto del popolo, dicendo: |
| 3 | Qui est celui qui est demeuré de reste d'entre vous, qui ait vu cette maison dans sa première gloire, et telle que vous la voyez maintenant? N'est-elle pas comme un rien devant vos yeux, au prix de celle-là? | Who is left among you that saw this house in its former glory? and how do ye see it now? is it not in your eyes as nothing? | "Chi è rimasto fra voi che ha visto questo tempio nella sua precedente gloria? E come la vedete ora? A confronto di quella, non è questa un nulla ai vostri occhi? |

| 5 | La parole de l'alliance que je traitai avec vous, quand vous sortîtes d'Egypte, et mon esprit demeurent au milieu de vous; ne craignez point. | [according to] the word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt, and my Spirit abode among you: fear ye not. | "Secondo la parola del patto che stabilii con voi quando usciste dall'Egitto, così il mio Spirito dimora in mezzo a voi. | 6 | Car ainsi a dit l'Eternel des armées: encore une fois, ce qui même sera dans peu de temps, j'ébranlerai les cieux et la terre, la mer, et le sec; | For thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; | Poiché così dice l'Eterno degli eserciti: "Ancora una volta, tra poco, io farò tremare i cieli e la terra, il mare e la terra asciutta; |
| 7 | Et j'ébranlerai toutes les nations; et les désirés d'entre toutes les nations viendront; et je remplirai de gloire cette maison; a dit l'Eternel des armées. | and I will shake all nations; and the precious things of all nations shall come; and I will fill this house with glory, saith Jehovah of hosts. | farò tremare tutte le nazioni; il desiderio di tutte le nazioni verrà e io riempirò questo tempio di gloria" dice l'Eterno degli eserciti. |
| 8 | L'argent est à moi, et l'or est à moi, dit l'Eternel des armées. | The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith Jehovah of hosts. | "Mio è l'argento e mio è l'oro" dice l'Eterno degli eserciti. |
| 9 | La gloire ce cette dernière maison-ci sera plus grande que celle de la première, a dit l'Eternel des armées, et je mettrai la paix en ce lieux-ci, dit l'Eternel des armées. | The latter glory of this house shall be greater than the former, saith Jehovah of hosts; and in this place will I give peace, saith Jehovah of hosts. | "La gloria di quest'ultimo tempio sarà più grande di quella del precedente", dice l'Eterno degli eserciti; "e in questo luogo io darò la pace", dice l'Eterno degli eserciti. |

| 11 | Ainsi a dit l'Eternel des armées: Interroge maintenant les Sacrificateurs touchant la loi, en disant: | Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Ask now the priests concerning the law, saying, | Così dice l'Eterno degli eserciti: Interroga i sacerdoti riguardo alla legge, dicendo: |
| 12 | Si quelqu'un porte au coin de son vêtement de la chair sanctifiée, et qu'il touche du coin de son vêtement à du pain, ou à quelque chose cuite, ou à du vin, ou à de l'huile, ou à quelque viande que ce soit, cela en sera-t-il sanctifié? Et les Sacrificateurs répondirent, et dirent: Non. | If one bear holy flesh in the skirt of his garment, and with his skirt do touch bread, or pottage, or wine, or oil, or any food, shall it become holy? And the priests answered and said, No. | "Se uno porta carne consacrata nel lembo della sua veste e con il lembo tocca pane o cibo cotto, vino o olio, o qualunque altro alimento, diventerà questo santificato?. I sacerdoti risposero e dissero: No!. |
| 13 | Alors Aggée dit: Si celui qui est souillé pour un mort touche toutes ces choses-là, ne seront-elles pas souillées? Et les Sacrificateurs répondirent, et dirent: Elles seront souillées. | Then said Haggai, If one that is unclean by reason of a dead body touch any of these, shall it be unclean? And the priests answered and said, It shall be unclean. | Aggeo quindi disse loro: Se uno che è impuro per il contatto di un cadavere, tocca una di queste cose, diventerà essa impura?. I sacerdoti risposero e dissero: Sì, diventerà impura. |
| 14 | Alors Aggée répondit, et dit: Ainsi est ce peuple, et ainsi est cette nation devant ma face, dit l'Eternel; et ainsi est toute l'oeuvre de leurs mains; même ce qu'ils offrent ici, est souillé. | Then answered Haggai and said, So is this people, and so is this nation before me, saith Jehovah; and so is every work of their hands; and that which they offer there is unclean. | Allora Aggeo rispose e disse: Così è questo popolo, così è questa nazione davanti a me, dice l'Eterno e così è ogni lavoro delle loro mani, e ciò che là mi offrono è impuro. |
| 15 | Maintenant donc mettez ceci, je vous prie, dans votre coeur; depuis ce jour et au-dessus, avant qu'on remît pierre sur pierre au Temple de l'Eternel, | And now, I pray you, consider from this day and backward, before a stone was laid upon a stone in the temple of Jehovah. | Ora considerate bene da questo giorno in avanti, prima che si mettesse pietra su pietra nel tempio dell'Eterno. |
| 16 | Avant cela, dis-je, quand on est venu à un monceau de blé, au lieu de vingt mesures, il ne s'y en est trouvé que dix; et quand on est venu au pressoir, au lieu de puiser du pressoir cinquante mesures, il ne s'y en est trouvé que vingt. | Through all that time, when one came to a heap of twenty [measures], there were but ten; when one came to the winevat to draw out fifty [vessels], there were but twenty. | Da quel tempo, quando uno veniva a un mucchio di venti misure ce n'erano solo dieci, quando uno veniva al tino per cavare dal tino cinquanta bati, ce n'erano solo venti. |
| 17 | Je vous ai frappés de brûlure, et de nielle, et de grêle dans tout le labeur de vos mains; et vous n'êtes point retournés à moi, dit l'Eternel. | I smote you with blasting and with mildew and with hail in all the work of your hands; yet ye [turned] not to me, saith Jehovah. | Io vi colpii con il carbonchio con la ruggine e con la grandine in ogni lavoro delle vostre mani, ma voi non tornaste a me, dice l'Eterno. |
| 18 | Mettez maintenant ceci dans votre coeur; depuis ce jour, et au-dessus, depuis, dis-je, le vingt-quatrième jour du neuvième mois, depuis ce jour- ci auquel les fondements du Temple de l'Eternel ont été jetés, mettez ceci dans votre coeur; | Consider, I pray you, from this day and backward, from the four and twentieth day of the ninth [month], since the day that the foundation of Jehovah`s temple was laid, consider it. | Considerate bene da oggi in avanti, dal ventiquattresimo giorno del nono mese, dal giorno in cui si posero le fondamenta del tempio dell'Eterno. Considerate questo: |
| 19 | Ce que vous avez semé est-il encore retourné au grenier? Même jusqu'à la vigne, et au figuier, et au grenadier, et à l'olivier, rien n'a rapporté; mais depuis ce jour-ci je donnerai la bénédiction. | Is the seed yet in the barn? yea, the vine, and the fig-tree, and the pomegranate, and the olive-tree have not brought forth; from this day will I bless [you]. | c'è ancora del grano nel granaio? La vite, il fico, il melograno e l'ulivo non hanno ancora dato frutto. Ma da questo giorno in poi, io vi benedirò. |
| 20 | Et la parole de l'Eternel fut adressée pour la seconde fois à Aggée, le vingt-quatrième jour du mois, en disant: | And the word of Jehovah came the second time unto Haggai in the four and twentieth [day] of the month, saying, | La parola dell'Eterno fu rivolta per la seconda volta ad Aggeo il ventiquattresimo giorno del mese, dicendo: |
| 21 | Parle à Zorobabel, Gouverneur de Juda, en disant: J'ébranlerai les cieux et la terre; | Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, I will shake the heavens and the earth; | Parla a Zorobabel, governatore di Giuda, e digli: "Io farò tremare i cieli e la terra, |
| 22 | Je renverserai le trône des Royaumes, je détruirai la force des Royaumes des Nations! je renverserai les chariots, et ceux qui montent dessus; et les chevaux, et ceux qui sont montés dessus, seront abattus, chacun par l'épée de son frère. | and I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms; and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the nations; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother. | rovescerò il trono dei regni e distruggerò la forza dei regni delle nazioni; rovescerò i carri e quelli che vi montano cadranno i cavalli e i loro cavalieri l'uno per la spada del suo fratello. |
| 23 | En ce temps là, dit l'Eternel des armées, je te prendrai, ô Zorobabel! fils de Salathiel, mon serviteur, dit l'Eternel, et je te mettrai comme un anneau de cachet; car je t'ai élu, dit l'Eternel des armées. | In that day, saith Jehovah of hosts, will I take thee, O Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel, saith Jehovah, and will make thee as a signet; for I have chosen thee, saith Jehovah of hosts. | In quel giorno dice l'Eterno degli eserciti, io ti prenderò, o Zorobabel, figlio di Scealtiel, mio servo dice l'Eterno, "e ti porrò come un sigillo, perché io ti ho scelto", dice l'Eterno degli eserciti. |
