| 6 | This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. | C'est ce même Jésus, le Christ, qui est venu avec l'eau et le sang; non seulement avec l'eau, mais avec l'eau et le sang; et c'est l'Esprit qui en rend témoignage, parce que l'Esprit est la vérité. | This is he that came by water and blood, [even] Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and with the blood. |
