| 5 | Have we not power to lead about a sister, a wife, as well as other apostles, and as the brethren of the Lord, and Cephas? | N'avons-nous pas le pouvoir de mener avec nous une soeur femme, ainsi que les autres Apôtres, et les frères du Seigneur, et Céphas? | Non abbiamo noi il diritto di condurre attorno una moglie, che sia una sorella in fede, come fanno anche gli altri apostoli, i fratelli del Signore e Cefa? |
| 6 | Or I only and Barnabas, have not we power to forbear working? | N'y a-t-il que Barnabas et moi qui n'ayons pas le pouvoir de ne point travailler? | O soltanto io e Barnaba non abbiamo il diritto di non lavorare? |
| 7 | Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? | Qui est-ce qui va jamais à la guerre à ses dépens? qui est-ce qui plante la vigne, et ne mange point de son fruit? qui est-ce qui paît le troupeau, et ne mange pas du lait du troupeau? | Chi mai va alla guerra a proprie spese? Chi pianta una vigna e non ne mangia il frutto? O chi si prende cura di un gregge e non mangia del latte del gregge? |
| 8 | Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? | Dis-je ces choses selon l'homme? la loi ne dit-elle pas aussi la même chose? | Dico queste cose secondo l'uomo? Non dice queste cose anche la legge? |
| 9 | For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? | Car il est écrit dans la Loi de Moise: tu n'emmuselleras point le boeuf qui foule le grain. Or Dieu a-t-il soin des boeufs? | Nella legge di Mosè infatti sta scritto: Non mettere la museruola al bue che trebbia. Si dà forse Dio pensiero dei buoi? |
| 10 | Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope. | Et n'est-ce pas entièrement pour nous qu'il a dit ces choses; certes elles sont écrites pour nous; car celui qui laboure, doit labourer avec espérance; et celui qui foule le blé, le foule avec espérance d'en être participant. | Ovvero, dice tutto questo per noi? Certo queste cose sono scritte per noi, perché chi ara deve arare con speranza, e chi trebbia deve trebbiare con la speranza di avere ciò che spera. |
| 11 | If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things? | Si nous avons semé des biens spirituels, est-ce une grande chose que nous recueillions de vos biens charnels? | Se abbiamo seminato fra voi le cose spirituali, è forse gran cosa se mietiamo i vostri beni materiali? |
| 12 | If others be partakers of this power over you, are not we rather? Nevertheless we have not used this power; but suffer all things, lest we should hinder the gospel of Christ. | Et si d'autres usent de ce pouvoir à votre égard, pourquoi n'en userions-nous pas plutôt qu'eux? cependant nous n'avons point usé de ce pouvoir, mais au contraire nous supportons toutes sortes d'incommodités, afin de ne donner aucun empêchement à l'Evangile de Christ. | Se gli altri hanno tale diritto su di voi, non l'avremmo noi molto di più? Noi però non ci serviamo di questo diritto, ma sopportiamo ogni cosa per non porre alcun ostacolo all'evangelo di Cristo. |
| 13 | Do ye not know that they which minister about holy things live of the things of the temple? and they which wait at the altar are partakers with the altar? | Ne savez-vous pas que ceux qui s'emploient aux choses sacrées, mangent de ce qui est sacré; et que ceux qui servent à l'autel, participent à l'autel? | Non sapete voi che quelli che fanno il servizio sacro mangiano delle cose del tempio, e quelli che servono all'altare hanno parte dei beni dell'altare? |
| 14 | Even so hath the Lord ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel. | Le Seigneur a ordonné tout de même que ceux qui annoncent l'Evangile, vivent de l'Evangile. | Così pure il Signore ha ordinato che coloro che annunziano l'evangelo, vivano dell'evangelo. |
| 15 | But I have used none of these things: neither have I written these things, that it should be so done unto me: for it were better for me to die, than that any man should make my glorying void. | Cependant je ne me suis point prévalu d'aucune de ces choses, et je n'écris pas même ceci afin qu'on en use de cette manière envers moi, car j’aimerais mieux mourir, que de voir que quelqu'un anéantît ma gloire. | Ma io non ho fatto alcun uso di queste cose né ve ne scrivo, affinché si faccia così con me, perché è meglio per me morire, piuttosto che qualcuno renda vano il mio vanto. |
| 16 | For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel! | Car encore que j'évangélise, je n'ai pas de quoi m'en glorifier; parce que la nécessité m'en est imposée; et malheur à moi, si je n'évangélise pas! | Infatti, se io predico l'evangelo, non ho nulla da gloriarmi, poiché è una necessità che mi è imposta; e guai a me se non predico l'evangelo! |
| 17 | For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me. | Mais si je le fais de bon coeur, j’en aurai la récompense; mais si c'est à regret, je ne fais que m'acquitter de la commission qui m’en a été donnée. | Se perciò lo faccio volontariamente, ne ho ricompensa; ma se lo faccio contro voglia, rimane sempre un incarico che mi è stato affidato. |
| 18 | What is my reward then? Verily that, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel. | Quelle récompense en ai-je donc? c'est qu'en prêchant l'Evangile, je prêche l'Evangile de Christ sans apporter aucune dépense, afin que je n'abuse pas de mon pouvoir dans l’Evangile. | Qual è dunque il mio premio? Questo: che predicando l'evangelo, io posso offrire l'evangelo di Cristo gratuitamente, per non abusare del mio diritto nell'evangelo. |
| 19 | For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more. | Car bien que je sois en liberté à l'égard de tous, je me suis pourtant asservi à tous, afin de gagner plus de personnes. | Infatti, pur essendo libero da tutti, mi sono fatto servo di tutti, per guadagnarne il maggior numero. |
| 20 | And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law; | Et je me suis fait aux Juifs comme Juif, afin de gagner les Juifs; à ceux qui sont sous la Loi, comme si j'étais sous la Loi, afin de gagner ceux qui sont sous la Loi; | Mi sono così fatto Giudeo con i Giudei, per guadagnare i Giudei; mi sono fatto come uno che è sotto la legge con coloro che sono sotto la legge, per guadagnare quelli che sono sotto la legge; |
| 21 | To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law. | A ceux qui sont sans Loi, comme si j'étais sans Loi (quoique je ne sois point sans Loi quant à Dieu, mais je suis sous la Loi de Christ,) afin de gagner ceux qui sont sans Loi. | tra quanti sono senza legge, mi sono fatto come se fossi senza la legge (benché non sia senza la legge di Dio, anzi sotto la legge di Cristo), per guadagnare quanti sono senza la legge. |
| 22 | To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. | Je me suis fait comme faible aux faibles, afin de gagner les faibles; je me suis fait toutes choses à tous, afin qu'absolument j'en sauve quelques-uns. | Mi sono fatto debole con i deboli, per guadagnare i deboli; mi sono fatto tutto a tutti, per poterne salvare in qualche modo alcuni. |
| 23 | And this I do for the gospel's sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you. | Et je fais cela à cause de l'Evangile, afin que j'en sois fait aussi participant avec les autres. | Or io faccio questo per l'evangelo, affinché ne sia partecipe anch'io. |
| 24 | Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. | Ne savez-vous pas que quand on court dans la lice, tous courent bien, mais un seul remporte le prix? courez donc tellement que vous le remportiez. | Non sapete voi che quelli che corrono nello stadio, corrono bensì tutti, ma uno solo ne conquista il premio? Correte in modo da conquistarlo. |
| 25 | And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. | Or quiconque lutte, vit entièrement de régime; et quant à ceux-là, ils le font pour avoir une couronne corruptible; mais nous, pour en avoir une incorruptible. | Ora, chiunque compete nelle gare si auto-controlla in ogni cosa; e quei tali fanno ciò per ricevere una corona corruttibile, ma noi dobbiamo farlo per riceverne una incorruttibile. |
| 26 | I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: | Je cours donc, mais non pas sans savoir comment; je combats, mais non pas comme battant l'air. | Io dunque corro, ma non in modo incerto; così combatto, ma non come battendo l'aria; |
| 27 | But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway. | Mais je mortifie mon corps, et je me le soumets; de peur qu'après avoir prêché aux autres, je ne sois trouvé moi-même en quelque sorte non recevable. | anzi disciplino il mio corpo e lo riduco in servitù perché, dopo aver predicato agli altri, non sia io stesso riprovato. |
